I liked Davetta and Christel in the role. Christel though plays Lily as a valley girl snotty whiny rich girl while Davetta was more Dru. I think it is incredibly tacky for Christel to talk about the discussions of Davetta's firing. This had nothing to do with her and all she had to say was Davetta was released for issues pertaining her relationship with the show and leave it at that. She goes into specifics of why she was fired is just unprofessional on Christel's part. Especially the way she had left the show last year without giving them notice and telling them she was leaving. Usually when you leave a show you give them a few months notice before contract is up so they can make plans. Is it me or does Christel come off as a snotty rich immature sorority girl?

I find it really weird that everytime there is a thread about one of the Lily's from Y&R,

It gets so ugly.

I think they are both mediocre actresses and are really not worth the fuss.

1. I question whether it's Christel and if so, she should have left this where it belonged OFF THE INTERNET.

When DS started they played her damn near everyday (and I loved every minute of it) yet the *ONE* *TRUE* Lily returns and she's barely on. You'd think they'd pimp her everyday and have Daniel and Lily googly eyed every 5 seconds like they were when DS was on and before CK quit. Hmmm...

I personally thought it was very unproffessional of CK to make public another actresses personal issues whether true or not on her myspace page without permission. That was for DS or Y&R execs to address not CK. Another thing I find hard to believe is that DS or her mother would waste time threatening CK with juvenile emails. Why would CK tolerate them? Why not delete your email account or better yet report them to Y&R execs and DS's agent as well as her own (CK's agent) to deal with?

I saw the blog that CK was posting on. She state that she had another one that was private but fans were going on there so she decided to make one just for the fans, Hence the "official Christel Kahlil" page. She than began to address questions by the fans and post personal things about behind the scenes things, with the Michael, Bryton and Adrienne. She even talked about upcoming scenes involving one of them all being drenched in water.

Once she realized she had made a mess of things by dissing DS she tried to back peddle, she made an apology and then later that day, deleted the apology, negative post and the comments.

Later she told a poster that it wasn't really her but an "imposter". However that hasn't gone over too well, because some very astute fans, had already connected that particular myspace page to Asia Smith (ex-Sierra) and to Cody Lee, Christel's bf. Both of Christel's myspace pages were on the bf's and Asia's friends list. Why would they add an "imposters" page to their list?

It doesn't make sense.

Since that time she has deleted some of the fans who she had added before, so that they can no longer see what is on that blog.

This kinda ties into my speculation of the whole thing. My guess is that Khalil called and wanted to come back, or someone higher than Latham called her. Now that she's there, Latham is probably trying to decide what to do with the character. She was the anchor of the Winters family and was heavily involved in this story prior to Davetta's exit.

Could it be that Latham realizes like the rest of us that Christel can't play a strong, selfless, mature version of Lily? Sorry, but the two days we did see her were truly laughable. I predict when we do see her in her own storyline it'll be something completely different from Davetta. Something more fluffy like they give Colleen (although Leon could handle some meaty stuff).

Yeah, Khalil is LYING.

She is the one who made those comments and everybody knows it. There is no imposter.

Charlotte, Welcome and Your assessment is exactly what I thought had been going on. I believe Crystel didn't understand that people can read between the lines and we smelled this cow patty from a mile away.
