Very good episode today.

I wasn't terribly happy with the Sami/Lucas/Will scenes. They seemd forced to me. Like been there, done that. Guess that shows we need something new for these three. The highlight was Kate's arrival and subsequent reaction.

Also, WTF @ Hope. You witnessed it and didn't see Patrick taunting and provoking Bo? Wench.

Everything else, however...

Carrie's line to Austin about not carrying made me laugh. Indirect jibe against Peck's acting the past few days?

Carrie railing into Lexie was top-notch. From the lead in to the finish line. Clark delivered, as did Jones.

Lexie's scenes with Tek and the restraining order were a highlight, too. Though does nayone else think it's funny that a working cop can be slapped with a restraining order before losing their badge? Something tells me that's just a little whacky. Glad to see this SL get so much airtime, though I wish, wish, wish Abe & Lexie weren't getting back together.

Patrick and EJ's first on-screen meeting was almost chilling. Scott has definitely improved since AMC.

Another WTF moment: Bo as a cop is hardly a lifetime career. He became a cop in '92. Yes, over ten years is a long time, but when you're in your fifties, that's not a lifetime career. I suppose compared to anything else, it's a lifetime career where Bo's concerned, but it still bugged me. It's not the first time he's forgine the badge for something else. I did like the realistic approach with the lawsuit threat hanging over them - however, for Roman and Abe to ignore Patrick's past is a bit over the top. They know he's been a criminal, yet they treat him as totally clean and Bo has an obsessed freak. Really ill-balanced writing in this story arc.

I personally would love to see Carrie go off on her Dad, if she finds out he knew at Sami's nonwedding what she knows now.

Great scene!! Finally we get see a glimpse of EJ's evil side. Sheffer is going to do wonders for EJ as a villain and I think Scott can pull it off. DAYS hasn't had a great villain in a very long time.

I'm thinking Abe & Lexie's reunion will be short lived if Carrie exposes her to Abe.

The whole scene with Lexie telling Tek to take a hike and then Tek saying she'll need him seems like forshadowing.

Christie & Renee were awesome today.

True, escept Hoagie has all but said that Abe & Lexie are end game, which is not happy making for me. Of course, Billy Warlock's leaving, so I won't get my Frankie/Lexie fix anyway, but I still want them to have a nasty divorce/custody thing. I want them to go their separate ways.

Tek is definitely going to turn into a crazy stalkery Hoagie villain, I think.

Carrie vs. Lexie was AWESOME. But why why why did not Carrie not throw the drink in her face? I was waiting for it for a half an hour.

Patrick/EJ was cool. I'm open to this. Maybe it will make me like two characters I hate.

So far so good. I'm really loving Hogie's writing. One question: I wonder if he's still tying up Reilly's loose ends? He said the Marlena kidnapping was something Reilly wrote. I wonder if Hope being a wench toward Bo is still Reilly's work?

Loved today's show. It was nice to get a Shelle break even though I love Brandon and Martha.

Carrie's little line to Austin was funny. I almost didn't catch that but I don't know if it was referring to Peck's acting or not. Carrie vs Lexie was awesome. Both actresses delivered and I have loved seeing so much anger and rage in CC. I am with KR-the way Carrie was holding the drink I was expecting her to throw it. Oh well still rocked and I can't wait to see Carrie ruining Lexie to get revenge.

Lexie/Tek was good too. Loved the restraining order but his little bit about it not being over was huge foreshadowing. He is definitely going the route of psycho I think.

I was very pleased with the Sami/Lucas/Will scenes because they were not the usual dramatic "Sami's son learns what she did" scenes. He knew something was up and nothing surprises him anymore so I liked the way they played it. It wasn't overdone. Kate showing up (and boy did Koz look hot today) and her banter with Sami was great, just as good as always. Love those two and the ending with Lucas and Sami staring at each other as he left was heartwrenching.

I also liked the Bo/Roman/Abe scenes. Something is up with Hope though. First off, she keeps making mention to not trusting Patrick and then supports him and offers to go away with him. Secondly, no one including Patrick asked for Bo to be arrested. Patrick bashed the PD but he never said I want Bo arrested. Roman just went right to arresting him and then today Hope, who witnessed everything, made it out to be like Patrick didn't say a single word in the fight and she knows he did. Bo losing his badge too was a little suspect and the day ahead preview on Monday makes me wonder if Bo, Hope, Abe, Roman, and maybe even John are in on a sting to bust Patrick. Hope and Bo were getting closer and there is no way she would be putting him through this. She would've made sure he wasn't arrested even if she was mad at him. She would've told Abe to let Bo go free. I could be wrong but I am convinced there is something else going on. Hope's comments about being able to handle Patrick got me thinking and now I really think there is more to it.

That Patrick/EJ scene was chilling. Nice reveal and classic Days. That is the way scenes with villains used to be and I just loved the tone of the scene. James Scott fits in so well.

Can't wait for Monday!!

I was very intrigued by the EJ/Patrick scene. EJ's tone, words, eyes, and tossled hair gave him such a sense of evil. James actually getting a storyline that he can do something as compared to what he was given to play at AMC, has shown how much he really can do. (IMO)

I was kind of let down with the Sami/Kate/Lucas/Will scene's. I know rehasing the Kate v Sami thing would be once again redundant, but so is Lucas professing his love to Sami and then finding something out and leaving her in the dust.

Carrie v Lexie. I loved that Carrie said something to Lexie asking if Sami was holding a gun to her head and forcing her to say the things she did. Way to think Carrie, I'm so proud. I kept waiting for the drink to go flying. However I enjoyed the end of their convo when Carrie told Lexie she was going to the hospital board, AMA, and Abe!!

Are we allowed to be critical of the acting? What's considered actor-bashing? Just asking because someone over-acted badly today and I was wondering if I'm the only one that feels this way about this particular actor and I don't want to break any rules. :)

But, anyway, Alison Sweeney did a terrific job when Lucas and Will were leaving the apartment. She didn't over-do it and the expressions (from all three actors) said everything.

I am so tired of the Bope story. End this. Please pass Hope the Salem Brain everyone else seems to have recovered recently.

Actor bashing is like "Hes ugly. She's fat."

"Her acting sucks." Isn't actor bashing.

I think a replay of the old "Sami did something wrong, gets found out, Lucas & Will turn on her, Kate gloats" was needed. Until Sami's scheme with Lexie was found out (a JER hold over), the story couldn't go forward. Now that Sami has nothing left to hide, the story can progress with something new and fresh. It was a tired, retread JER story that had to have this ended. I have a feeling this might be the last time we see such a set up and resolution.

I think the reason the Lucas/Will/Kate scenes felt a little strange today is that the characters are so sick of finding out about Sami that it really doesn't have the same UMPH. It's a natural thing, but this also isn't real life. It's a soap. I feel like going for the more dramatic option would have been best.

I agree KR-I wanted a little more drama but it's also a case of "been there done that" with Sami/Lucas/Will. I think it worked ok because it has happened so often and they almost expect her to always screw up. Matt is right though-this is the end of this type of thing happening. Sami being exposed used to be fun but now it's old. It doesn't even bring up the ratings anymore really and Sami reveals always used to. It's time to move on and Sami has already started to mature as a character so with this reveal over he can really go ahead and progress with the story and the Sami character.

Sami vs Kate will never get old for me. I always enjoy it and it is a classic soap rivalry so I would never want to lose that and it would not be logical to lose it because so much has happened between them that they should never like each other.

The highlight of this episode was DEFINETLY the Carrie/Lexie scenes. LOVED everything that Carrie said to Lexie and I am SO happy DAYS is not letting her get away with this. LOVED the line from Carrie when she said she was going to the hospital board and Abe, the look on Lexie's face!! :D For once one of the doctors at University hospital is going to pay for their mistakes..MUCH more realistic.

The Sami/Kate stuff is ALWAYS delicisously good simply becasue Koslow & Sweeney have SO much b*tchy chemistry between them.

Hope is continuing to piss me off to NO end. Its like everything about every other character on the show (except Mimi) has improved SO much, and the show is just writing Hope ALL wrong IMO. It is making me hate her and I do NOT think that is the intention of the writing team...this better change RIGHT away!

Sami/Lucas/Will scenes were good, but as other mentioned, they didn't have that umph needed, but that is because this has been done to death and I am SO thankful that Hogan is finally ending this tired DAYS habit!!

I think the actors are more tired of playing those scenes than the character are, Mike.
