Katie has nothing better to do with her time than go running over to the Oakdale Police department to tell Jack that Carly is over Simon.

And Jack, of course will use his police badge against Simon for personal reasons...that was clear as mud.

In the previews for today's show, it shows Jack once again using his badge to teach Carly a lesson. I wish they would just end this storyline; either put Carly and Jack together, smarten the two of them up, and move on.

THURSDAY:

I'm loving Lucinda today! :)

I just don't buy this quick Lily/Jade love. Oh well.

So wait - Will killed Rose?? I didn't know that - I wasn't watching at the time....how'd he kill her and why did he get off?

Lily better turn it down a notch and cut the attitude...So what, Jade is her neice, big deal. She shouldn't be all smug towards Will and Gwen. First off, Gwen doesn't owe her neice spit and I know if I were Gwen, I'd get some cajones and tell Lily exactly what I thought of that neice she just embraced.

And Jack? Is he for real? What proof does he actually have to bring Carly down to the station? Did she have the money in her posession? No. Did he see her and Simon get the money from Spiro and shake hands? No. All he knows is what Katie ran blabbing about, and the fact that he didn't like seeing Carly hugging another man. That is the only reason why he hauled Carly down to the station. He turned his dislike for Carly and Simon being together into something personal, and he thought if he flexed his muscle, Carly would turn into her usual self and beg him for forgiveness.

Sweets, it's not about Jack flexing his muscle because he didn't like seeing Carly with another man. It's about Jack protecting Carly because he knows her. He knows that she gets in over her head and won't tell him. It's not like he threw her in a cell and tried to sweat a confession out of her. He got Carly alone (if he was just into punishing Carly and Simon 'cause he didn't like it, he would have hauled McAussie's ass down to the OPD too) and tried to talk some damn sense into her.

Jack is not just taking Katie's word for the Simon/Spiro connection, he saw them himself. He's the one who clued Carly in, remember?

Jack's desire to protect Carly is personal, but his dislike of the loansharking is just smart.

It's Katie's dislike of the Simon/Carly connection that's turned into something more personal than appropriate, given her marriage to Mike.

And Will poisoned Rose by putting model airplane solvent in her mouthwash.

But there's a fine line between supporting and enabling a person. And Lily is just stupid that way. GMAB...she and Luke are giggly with finding out Jade is family? Riight. Did you catch Holden's non-expression as Luke and Lily were all huggy? He's the only one with a lick of sense.

Right now, I could care less about Jack/Carly/Katie and Simon. What my focus was on was how Lily and Luke look like two giggly school girls over learning that Jade was their cousin. Wasn't it not that long ago when Lily slapped the taste out Jade's mouth and called her on all her devious deeds to get into the Snyder family? But now that the truth comes to light, who cares that Jade did some terrible things to others, just as long as she's family. Please. Lucinda and Holden are the only two in the Snyder fold that aren't being snowed by who Jade really is.

As I said, Gwen owes Lily or Jade for that matter nothing. Lily most likely will be singing a different tune when Jade starts messing with her life, causing trouble.

Back when Will was being protrayed by this youngster, brettav9.jpg, Barbara was totally against Paul's romance with Paul. She kept telling Will that "if only she could have her family back together.." and saying stuff about how Ros ewas such a skank and needed to just go away. (She even hired a hitman, but I can't remember how that plot point was ever dissolved.)

So at Paul and Rose's wedding, everyone was jolted when Rose collapsed. Bob told Lily and the others that Rose had ingested poison and was dying. Lily shared a touching farewell with her sister (one of the best scenes I've ever seen from Martha Byrne..she acted her heart out!!)...lilrosepd3.png..., but then asked to speak with Paul, whom everyone thought had did it at the time. Her last words were to him: "Why did you do this to me?" or "Why did you hurt me?" or something like that...

Lily set out to find Rose's killer and heavily suspected Paul. However, other suspects soon began to emerge. Rose's best friend Mitzi..Rose's future mother-in law, Barbara..Rose's former flame, Dusty..Dusty's former lover whom he had an affair on Rose with, Molly..and Paul, Rose's finacee.

In a special January 1 episode in 2004, Rose narrarated the whole episode and lined up all her suspects (one of my favorite episodes of all time), giving motive and way they could have killed her. (By this time, they discovered that Rose had ingested poison in her mouthwash.)

Anyways..to be brief (which I'm not very good at if you can't tell  ) Will finally admitted to it and was sent to a psych. ward. When he returned, a newly-cast Jesse Lee Soffer was portraying the role..and still is.

Hope that's a good enough explanation for you :)

P.S. This is one of my favorite scenes from the Rose murder who-dunnit storyline. 2tl3.jpg Lily, unable to let her twin sister go just yet, showed up during her funeral in the same dancer outfit that Rose was infamously known for..(she was an Atlantic City dancer)..and suggested the crowd rejoice her life, not mourn it.

Thanks for your display of Martha love.

Anyone notice that Dallas is the man that comes on the scene for anything involving the teens? Mainly Jade?

Margo doesn't show up now, it's Dallas that comes to hear the latest scheme Jade has done.

I hate how everyone is making excuses for Jade and not only forgiving her, but asking HER to forgive THEM. WTF?

Lily especially pissed me off today with the way she made Will feel guilty for what he did as a kid who didn't really know better (from what I understand...I wasn't watching back then) and comparing it to the things Jade has done as an ADULT with the intentions of destroying people's lives on purpose. Give me a break.

What was with that look between Will and Luke at the end? I'm going to be really pissed if the writers have Will mad at Luke for keeping Jade's secret for an hour, but having him begging Jade to forgive him and becoming best buddies with her. Gag.

I hate Jade and feel no sympathy for her. She's where she is because of her own actions. She could have killed herself all in an effort to make Gwen look bad and why? Jealousy? And now Lily's going to be her biggest fan? Lily's always been a fool.

Luke didn't like it very much when folks kept things from him, so I can't say that I blame Will for being a little ticked at him. Here he is trying to get Jade out of his life, get back with Gwen, and Luke in some ways keeps enabling the situation. He tells Jade that Will loves Gwen, yet he leaves it up to Jade to tell the truth, knowing full well that she knows no meaning of the word? Please!

Now, I can see a part of Lily being happy that they found Rose's daughter..They have a right to be happy, however, I it was not necessary to throw Will's past in his face. First off, that was the past, what Jade does is always constant, and always causes trouble. I know if I were either Will or Gwen, I wouldn't cave and suddenly make nicey nice with the little witch. I would have loved to have seen Barbara hearing Lily say that to Will.

Jade is forever 'sorry' for something, but yet, she keeps plotting, scheming and ruining folks. Lily is all cheezy eezy now, but will she have that perma grin on her face when Jade double crosses her?

I don't get Carly. For someone who had her kids basically taken away from her after her last stint with danger, she goes and puts them in danger again with Simon's loanshark business.

Jack should just take them.

This what makes me mad. Carly is knowiily puting her kids at risk for this project. With the strip club she went head first without thinking but thsi time she knows what she is doing. This is not Carly we all love.

I don't want Jack to take them becasue he will be a huge super jerk to many then he is right now. Maybe he can just take the kids to Montanna for awhile.I have no idea what's wrong with Carly. Plot I guess.

I hate this storyline too. Making Carly look like an idiot. I find myself on Jack's side now. Please hurry up Simon's departure. Love him but hate this storyline.

Wow - thanks for that! You did a great job. Did Barbara give Will an idea about poisoning or did Will think that up all on his own? Glad to know Will was once in a mental ward - that's pretty important character history to know about...ha.

Anyway thanks again! Sounded like a great storyline - wish I would have been watching at the time.
