Gotta Love Nichols and Evans :)

Great episode!

Why is Billie "Lurking" in the background when Steve and Kayla are having such an important moment? I mean, the girl has only been on like 3 dates with this guy right? LOL

I'm not to "Up to date" on this Billie Character but today she seemed just a little.......STRANGE.

Oh well...still a great S/K day!! Yay!!

Another good show. Judi was great in her one scene. I loved Philip and Shawn giving it to Mimi about the surrogate baby, but I feel bad for the child. Nobody wants him/her! This is why I'm glad Bonnie is sticking around, I think she will love the baby more than anyone else. Victor pulling Kate away for coffee was hilarious. Love that John's getting some screentime, and I bet he's glad too.

Shawn kicking the can on his way out was classic Shawn. Good to see Beemer quickly picking up on the character's mannerisms. It may have been in the script though.

Sami was so good. Being there for Belle, being civil to John, and John being civil back to her---awesome. Alison looked wonderful today in her jeans and blazer. EJ/Lucas was cute as well.

DAYS is quickly becoming the soap to watch!

i just really enjoyed that characters kept popping up in the episode...Bonnie, Frankie, Marlena, and Maggie only had one or two scenes...and they all appeared at the very end of the episode..But each one of them added something to the episode that would have been missing without them...

Best part of the day was Bonnie busting Phillip's illusions about Kate. I cracked up that Phillip was so naive about Kate, knowing full well what his mother has done.

It was ridiculous that Mimi's even thinking about giving up her kid; I just considered it a plot point.

Absolutely LOVED Sami today...sigh...I really am hopeful that Sami is maturing.

I had to laugh when Shawn tried to use the grandson card. He only claims Victor when it's beneficial for him.

LOL...he gets that from Bo, who only claims Victor as his papa when he a special favor. (i.e. money, or connections when he searches for a kinapped Hope every two years).

So Nubia did you watch the show? if so what did you think? is Days back?

Yeah Kev. I give it a solid thumps up. The pacing was great, and their wasn’t redundant flashbacks. I also liked that characters popped up randomly throughout the show (Bonnie, Frankie, ect). I am used to Days featuring the episodes main characters during the first acts of the show.

The only thing I didn't like was the Abe and Lexie reunion....they are soooo not meant to be together, lol.

I loved seeing Frankie today.

Kate has already convinced herself that Belle was not good enough for Philip and looking to grabbing someone else for him. No, she won't be hurt, hurt rolls off like water off a duck.

Shawn will put on a great rebellious show while he is restructuring his life. I'm looking forward to the show and the final product.

Mimi only agreed to the surrogate to please Shawn. Without Shawn to raise it for, she probably doesn't want a baby she didn't conceive in love. I'm not sure what this means to the baby. If the surrogate just can keep it herself because no one could require her to abort it. If Lauren keeps the child, there will be more to the story.

John found Marlena too conveniently. That had to have been a teaser for what is about to happen. I hope so because that was nothing with any definition at all. In fact, a lot of this is still transitional and doesn't fit well in my view.

I read that Billie is the mirror of Britta with Steve and Bo. What does that mean? Does it mean she will get killed?

What I'm looking forward to is Stephanie becoming aware her father remembers that she is really, truly his daughter.

Everyone has mentioned so many of the things I loved about today's show.

I do admit, my favorite lines

Kate to Victor: Does the name Lauren mean anything to you?

Mimi: Tell me what we are going to do about Lauren.

Phillip: WhoTH is Lauren?!

Bwahahahaha!!

Poor baby, but it's still funny that the name ment nothing to these men. Me either for that fact, I didn't know who Lauren was.

I agree that Days is definitely back. No fluke-Hogan is amazing and this was really the first show with alot of characters. I also like how the characters just pop up through the show. It's realisitic like that of a real town where people just run into each other.

Loved the Belle/Sami scenes. The maturing of Sami is great and her being civil to John was awesome. The Lucas/EJ scenes were kinda funny. Good to see LUMI beginning their path back together.

I love how TGO screwed with J&M. I am happy with how fast this moved though. It is obvious that all they wanted to do was send a warning. There was a deeper reason for this I am sure but it did serve the purpose of upping the ante for this story. Drake was good today and Deidre rocked that last scene (another awesome fadeout ending).

I just loved when Victor dragged Kate off for coffee  . I also liked the nod to Lauren Koslow by calling the surrogate "Lauren." Not sure if it was intentional but it was fun nonetheless. I just loved Philip telling Mimi off and Bonnie blabbing. I thought Victor was a little harsh with Shawn but Beemer did awesome there and I enjoyed that scene. Beemer just keeps improving-the trash can kick was so Shawn so it's good to see him picking things up fast. It was nice when Maggie and Frankie showed up and when Maggie brought Claire in. That little Claire scene with Belle saddened by Shawn dropping the suit was heartbreaking.

Lexie/Abe were good only because I know it's not over. Tek is still out there and she never did tell Abe about her breaking up Austin and Carrie with Sami. I liked their scenes but its only a matter of time before the other show drops.

SN and MBE shined today. I didn't really like Billie hovering around but I like her being in their story so I assume she just wanted to stay out of the way and wait and see if Steve needed her. That scene where Kayla just ran into Steve's arms was amazing. SN is just awesome and MBE got her best material yet since returning. It is just great to see them finally go somewhere.

Hogan is doing amazing so far. Can't wait for tomarrow. I am just loving this pace.

What I liked so much for today's show was how fast it went!! I watched all the scenes and I pretty much enjoyed every one.

That's the one thing that I enjoyed about ATWT when I began to watch it in 2004 when Hogie still wrote for the show. I liked nearly all the characters. I understood why they did what they did. I really enjoyed the family interaction among the characters. Finally, the plotlines were half-way decent. And even when the plots weren't all that great, I just liked the dialogue and the development of characters.

I loved Hogie's writing and the thing is that his writing was in its nadir and was "crappy" at the point when I started watching the show. Even Hogie's "crap" got the critic's attention...

I'm more convinced than ever that as long as Days' actors deliver (which they are), Hogie is going to write Emmy-worthy material. Beyond higher ratings, I want Days to get the critical success that it WILL deserve with Hogie as headwriter. I want the soap industry to be shocked about how well Days does at the Emmy's next year!!

Unlike in the past, I look forward to the next show for Days. I recently got a DVD recorder and transferred some of my old Lumi/Lucas/Sami tapes to a dvd format. I had Higley and JER's greatest hits!! Let me tell you I don't ever want to hear the name Mya or the words "goo" or "aliens" again. I don't want to see a naked Lucas in bed with his half-sister Cassie, feeling up on each other and then Cassie calling out the name "Rex" in the middle of their writhing on the bed together, b/c Rex was sending an ESP signal to Cassie before he could warn them that they were sister and brother EVER AGAIN!! For the integrity of the show and those characters, it was painful to watch. For shock value, it was hilarious in a train wreck sort of way!! I'm not even going to get into the JER stuff. Those were the dark days where for the most part I dreaded to know what was coming next...

This show has come a LONG way since then though. Watching the Higley stuff this past weekend and then watching Hogie's stuff today, it just made me so grateful that Hogie's writing for this show!! Considering what Days' viewers have had to endure for so long, it's just good to see Days return to its former glory.......

Absolutely LOVED how EJ asked Lucas to 'be a love and send these flowers to Belle' or some such. He SO own3d Lucas with that line!

Loved the Steve and Kayla stuff but I have to say, if Steve keeps this crap up I'm going to being the "Beat up Steve Johnson Brigade." He's PUTTING MY GIRL THROUGH HELL, people!!! :(

Judi Evans really played that reveal well. I'm surprised there weren't more comments about her delivery more than the story itself. She took a line about how she told the truth and how good it felt to finally dow that and NAILED it.

John was supposed to find Marlena that fast. SUPPOSED. TO. Hogan wanted it just done so he can move them back to Salem and start their storyline.
