You are NOT the only one who feels sorry for Chels, UKBoi. My heart is BREAKING for her because when she finally does the RIGHT thing, her dad turns against her and her boyfriend breaks up with her and you just know all of Salem will villify her for this. Hell, Billie may finally turn sour toward her, too. !@#$%^&*]!!!!:angry: I feel so sorry for Chelsea. And you're right about Melvin acting her little heart out (CUTE BEYOND WORDS way of putting it, by the way!!). In fact, while watching those scenes, I actually thought, "Wow, I used to hate this girl's look and that made me dislike her; who knew she'd become so BIG? And hot?"

Have you guys ever heard of the "boy who cried wolf"? Chelsea has done numerous horrible acts and lies about it with a straight face. So why would anyone believe her when she does something right for the first time EVER?? If someone has lied to you over and over and over again, and has done spite, hurtful things over, and over, and over again. Why would they give her the benefit of the doubt.

The Jack/Jennifer stuff today was [!@#$%^&*] brilliant! :DB)

Matt Ashford especially as Cary Grant: WOW!

Hogan Sheffer has to bring Jack Deveraux back next year - Matt Ashford in the role of Jack is too good to lose. B)

I really wish Jack and Jen weren't leaving! Seeing them working today was classic Days. Loved it.

I also loved the expression on Shawn's face when Belle walked in with Claire. I agree that Mimi should be pissed off about that since it hasn't been confirmed that Claire is Shawn's daughter. However, since we all know that Mimi knows the truth, I could careless. I like seeing Mimi get pissed off ... she deserves it!

Even though I want Jack and Jen together, I wish Frankie would at least try to hold onto his first love. He's tossing Jen right into Jack's arm. If she chooses Jack over him, it's practically his own fault.

J&J were awesome. I love them going out with a bang. Matt did a superb job as Cary Grant. The history mentions, the specatator (I love seeing that back), the flashback-awesome beyond words. This is the most alive Missy has been in more then a year and with good reason. Both actors were brilliant.

I want Mimi to go down to but Mimi was a little justified in what she was saying today. No matter-she is going down soon. Little Claire was adorable and I just love how Shawn is looking at her.

The cop scenes were good. Melvin rocked!!! She has grown so much in the last year and she is really starting to remind me of today's version of Sami/Ali Sweeney in that she makes you feel bad for a character that you shouldn't. That takes real talent as an actor and Melvin did a great job today. I was happy Max broke up with her since that is paving the way for Max and you know who :D . The scenes at the station were good and good acting by all. Love Frankie but I feel bad for him with what is coming his way in regards to Jen. I also like Philip acting very much like his father. Brandt is really doing a good job. I think everyone in those scenes did well.

Another great week of Days and next week looks even better. :D

Jack and Jen were the highlight, y'all.

Oh, and Darin Brooks continues to be smokin' as all raging Hellfire. Bye incest! I won't miss you.

I never thought I would *ever* be able to say this again, but Days is quickly becoming my favorite soap opera on television again. The last time I was able to say that was well over a decade ago. I can't believe how far this show has come so quickly!

It really is insane, Matt. It's NEVER been this good. Never when I've been watching.

I've never been able to get all the little kids who flocked to Days under JER to understand what I meant by the Days of MY generation and how good it was. Well, folks, you're currently seeing a Days of our Lives that epitomizes the Days I've always talked about. Do you understand now?!

It's the DAYS I've always fantasized about, Matt. I think I'm one of the few JER-era fans who feels like a 70's/80's/early 90's-era fan. But, I don't even think i could have imagined it ever being this good...

It is so nice to see former fans. new fans, and every other type of fan happy about Days again. I never thought it could get this good. Part of the reason why I put up with what JER gave us (I enjoyed some aspects) was because I never thought Days could be this good ever again and it is. I mean this is only interim stuff. Hogan hasn't even started and the show is already on a high. The ratings have stabilized and Days is primed for a major run. Everything about the show is just amazing right now, except for the SFX once in awhile.

It is safe to say after hearing Hogan's preview and the last few weeks that DAYS IS BACK!!!!! :D .

I am telling you everyone should check out this show-it is definitely on fire right now!!!

I just got an email from an internet friend who doesn't read the boards, much less the spoilers, etc. and I asked her what she thought about Days now, she replied that it is very exciting again and she loves, it, then talked about wondering why EJ came to Salem and she hopes Sami doesn't fall for him and do I think the Black Glove had anything to do with the egg mix up, etc. So, the point of this is that there are millions who never chat about Days on line most likely that don't have a clue about what is coming up who are really loving what is going on each day. But, I was disappointed the number of viewers fell the last ratings report. I'd not miss an episode now except due to dire emergency.

I just finished watching Wednesday, Thursday and today's episodes and like everyone has stated - WOW, WOW and WOW!!!

The writing is, IMO, the best it has EVER been and I have been watching since 1987 (I am sure the writing was good then, but I didn't recognize it because I was 12 years old and just obsessed with Jennifer Horton!).

The acting, IMO, has been the best it has EVER been BECAUSE the writing is so good. This cast has just AMAZED me over the past 2 weeks - EVERYONE has risen to the occasion: Ali and Bryan were jaw-droppingly realistic when arguing over Will being kidnapped; Rachel was literally breaking my heart when she was trying to explain her rationale for leaving the file in Shawn's room; and, my favorite couple of all time - daytime, primetime, anytime, Matt and Missy, had me jumping up and down with their episodes on Thursday and today. There were other moments, too, that also had me just so proud to call "DAYS OF OUR LIVES" my show again - Lauren and Josh's interactions re: Eve and her involvement; Drake's John sweet declaration of his support and love for Marlena had me in tears - Drake has NEVER been this good!

I am just excited right now beyond belief and even more excited with every new episode. I haven't fast forwarded a scene in any show since almost over a month ago.

DAYS (and Ken Corday) please know that ALL boards, even critics, and most importantly, the loyal fans are recognizing all of the changes and are happily coming back and are ready to settle in for the most exciting fall in over 20 years (IMO the last "fall" that was exciting and had fans excited was the Justin/Adrienne wedding in Greece/Diana and Roman disk caper in Greece).

Lastly, and maybe others can attest to this too, but because this show is on a high, it has made my life happier - I go to work and the gym happy and people are asking me why I have been in such a good mood lately and I just say that I take an hour out of every evening to give myself "Jeff time" (that's my name ;=)

Am I the only one who feels sorry for Chelsea here? Rachel Melvin acted her little heart out and really had me feeling for her.

I was feeling sorry for her and then I remembered what a cold hearted !@#$%^&*] she was after Zach died.

Melvin's extremely talented.

I can't wait to see Wed-Fri on the Soapnet Marathon tomorrow.
