It's not at all like it is for us, finding out with 3 weeks notice. Totally different thing. I did not get what you meant before but I do now.

As long as the shows program around those dates, they matter. If the shows stop, mattering will vanish, of course. Thus far, even though they are no longer relevant to the ratings, the shows still program to those dates, reveals, climaxes, etc.
