  1. So speaking of Laura's kids, what are the odds you feel of them finding turning up in some form? Any wishlist on the actors/actresses? IMO, the only reason Adam Huss doesn't have a contract is because they went into a huddle to decide whether to or whether not to invest in Cassadines. That is also the reason they haven't decided whether to bring NAC back or go forward with his recast. Personally I think *maybe* they have now decided & a Cassadine has bought Wyndemere hiding behind a shell company. If that supposition is correct then things might FINALLY begin to happen.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. On further consideration I think I like KaMac. And this is a non sequiter but the Director Denise Van Cleave is called Didy. I love that. She directed the #Kraze first love scene.
  3. What I typically do: Katelynn KaMa KeMo KMc For some reason Katelynn just doesn't seem abbreviate-able to me.
  4. Okay. I never had any idea what "Soapourri" meant in this context. Issue solved. No further discussion necessary. But, Mona, I meant it to be a place where these conversations would ideally originate. I agree that moving discussions is problematic.
  5. I forgot Griffin existed. And, I don't think that's on me. I think it just was Griffin.

This is more meta. I have an idea for a new discussion thread. It would be named something like this: ALL SOAPS ALL Channels Cross Talk & Meta I think we keep going OT in specific soap threads on discussions that cross over different shows & perhaps we need a thread where this would always be on topic. On my way home yesterday I put this all together in my head & planned to implement it. Well, instead the GH current discussion thread had blown up & I got distracted. So, today, I thought I would toss this idea out & ask, What do any of you think? I could say more in terms of examples of discussing, but I'm not sure that is needed. So, I open the floor for discussion.
  7. Oh, how I loved Ellie and Spinelli. She was such a match for him. Also I was all in on Ellie & Spinelli. I'm also all in on a redux of Spixie.
  8. Now, this I understand 💯 & in fact, I, too, was trying to bring things to a close. But, there are simply times when some of us are fascinated with talking to each other. It's a kind of conversational rapport that is delightful. And, so, each of us kept saying perhaps just one little thing that would cause the other one to make just one more reply, but that gets repeated. And, I do not think that is a bad thing. In fact, I think it is a good thing. And, after all, it is simply time & if the time we spend here is not discretionary, then I don't know what it is. This is & was very well said, my friend.
  9. 1. Good Morning 2. I'm gonna have to say that if this was cutting it short, I cannot wait to see how many volleys might occur if you really dig in!!! 😉🤣🤣🤣👏👏👊👌
  10. We is cool. Or as Yoda would say, "Cool, we are." Uh-oh. Now we've done it. Been caught being repetitious. How boring. Seriously You make a fine point. Also valid.
  11. And why do the men never have a clue what they might do with another part of their anatomy?! Well, except for Steve Johnson who went down under the bubbles on their honeymoon & I have the clip that proves it!
  12. Yes, as I said, here tonight, in this thread. You said: Raunch could have fought against it, perhaps, but he did not So I concluded that Pete's opinion won over Paul's. I honestly thought that was what you meant. If you didn't, sorry.
  13. Anyway, Rauch was the EP & it was on his head to decide about the firings. Never that I know of in his whole career did he ever have any problem with his authority or power. I do not accept some idea that Pete undermined him in this way. Pete recommended. Paul decided. But I consider Pete to be a truthful person with integrity.I fully realize that not everyone shares that opinion. It's not a problem with me to agree to disagree.
  14. I am totally & completely aware that Pete wanted both Dwyer & JC fired. I never said I didn't know that. What I said was that I do not disagree with it. And, I don't. I have no problem believing the accounts of their actions. You disagree, which is fine. But this line makes no sense in reply to what I said. But, I would suggest that you are not in a position to know what your second line says. Can you give me a cite that says that?
  15. I really need to read him again. It's been years since the 3rd or 4th reading. I disagree completely about the firing of Dwyer. I have no problem believing what was said about the firing of George Reinholt or Virginia Dwyer. But one thing I will say is that Rauch was the EP, not Pete. If he'd not been convinced of the need I don't think he would have fired them. Many times Rauch & Lemay were in accord. But, they also disagreed & fought things out. One notable thing that they did together was to attend the theatre & critique actors & actresses, often finding someone they wanted to cast. I believe Pete thought of Connie as his writing conscience, getting the most from her when she delivered his lines letter perfect but then at scene end, would have a comment, like "Whatever the hell that is supposed to mean!"
  16. I have noticed this, too, and seen several other people posting to this effect. And, Carly & Drew, it's totally obvious that they are all BUT broken up. So, one day next week, I think they will cut the cord. Sam's been preoccupied with Jason. Her scene with Liz & her scene with Danny. One thing about Jason's TBI was it left him almost always compartmentalizing. So I think when Carly & Sonny got together, he put certain feelings for Carly in a box & threw away the key. When Sonny died I think he got that box out & opened it up & we saw him almost have a real relationship with Carly. Not just loyal friend. So I wonder if that box isn't still open. I guess we'll see.
  17. In my forum the firings of George Reinholt & Jacquie Courtney & Virginia Dwyer just came up & we were discussing actors hiding their lines all over the set & one poster told me that Hugh Marlowe who played Jim Matthews was driven crazy by Virginia Dwyer. He apparently said that she never fed him his cues or picked up on hers. That was news to me.
  18. Which actress? Susan Sullivan, or .... uh ...
  19. Just FYI Adam Huss immersed himself in tapes of Tyler & of Bechtel.
  20. WOW. So sorry. I didn't know.
  21. No, Pammy was never in Bay City. YES to a gay Michael!
  22. March 4th is Jason's return & the first (non-regular) PM/EK script, so May the 4th be with you! And, here's to good hair!
