  1. Yeah, opening/closing credits tend to be fine, just like posting individual scenes. It's full episodes that tend to get people in trouble (and even then it just amounts to YouTube pulling down the episode rather than any legal consequences).
  2. Considering Linsey left to deal with mental health issues, they might be hoping she'll come back eventually. At least that's how I see it.
  3. Eh, he looks decent as Allie's twin I guess.
  4. Honestly, I'd question even that - people are killed off on soaps all the time. I get that there was no social media and either calling or letter writing were the only available methods to reach out, but... yeah. If people did call in I'd assume it was quite limited, popular character or not. It's just the way daytime soaps had worked for decades at that point.
  5. I thought it was a couple of weeks to be honest, considering how much mileage the show seemed to get out of the "death". But it goes to show you how it really was orchestrated as a PR stunt, especially with that hilarious "protest" posted a while back.
  6. I think a lot of it has to do that people have to take time to sit down and actually do the paperwork. Evidently, the owners of The Doctors + RetroTv were happy to do that. Putting down such a task for DAYS might be seen as long down the list of costs that they need since they're still making money on producing current content.
  7. It's not exactly in development since they haven't even ordered it to pilot yet. There's just a script at this point and by all accounts it's not even been sent out to reviewers. I do think this all came out way too early if it's still going ahead.
  8. Expected since they didn't even order it to pilot. If it's still alive I'm assuming it's going to be re-written.
  9. I assume this would've been the original season finale (3x22), but I assume they made it more co-vid friendly by avoiding to have a big wedding. Either way it seems to be their take on OG's season 8 cliffhanger with Dex fighting with Sean to save Alexis and a gun going off. I doubt either Kirby or Blake will bite the dust (it's too soon to reveal the coffin owner), so Evan will probably die. Shame about Alexis and Jeff, but realistically it was never going to work out in the long run. I assume they might've felt everyone was getting too paired up. Though OG Alexis would've never admitted that children wasn't an option as it implies she might be *gasp* her child-bearing years. I wonder if Blake will be hurt enough for Alexis to take pity on him and keep him in the mansion.
  10. She moved to the Carlton Hotel aka the Clue movie set during the final two seasons. You really should take the time to watch at least season 9. It was a creative upswing. NOTE: Aaron originally bought the Clue movie set in case Dark Mansions went to series, but when it didn't he just recycled it for the Carlton Hotel.
  11. I think it's a shame they've botched Kristen so badly to be honest - when she first came back in 2012 it seemed like they were going to at least make her semi-sane. With the time jump it also seemed, again, that they were going to try to at least ground her to earth with her relationship with Lani (lesbian subtext and all). But Ron's gotta be ronnin', I guess.
  12. He might have abs and seems like a nice person, but it's time they got rid of Ben. Glad to see Paulina staying put.
  13. It's also the fact that the clothes are clearly in Lauren Koslow's size and I doubt they have the budget to buy another pair to specifically fit Stacey Haiduk.
  14. Which shows gained an audience beyond the initial co-vid bump last year? I assume that most "bumps" these days will also just show up on streaming either way. Most people I know haven't watched broadcast in the past year - they've been binging available shows.
  15. Linear television is overall dying. Shows that would've been pulled after one episode five years ago now get renewed. The CW is basically a showcase for shows you can stream on either Netflix, HBO Max or CBS All Access. I assume in the future all networks will function more like that.
  16. Glad it's renewed for two seasons so we at least don't have to do this next year. It does feel like around every nine-ten months they start treading water because they're unsure if they're going to be back or have to quickly wrap up.
  17. I just assume they didn't want to reveal any other mourners.
  18. Jeff. He's been marked for death for a while now. Either that or they remembered that Steven still exists and they need to get rid of him.
  19. Yeah, it's been said before, but DAYS probably has the best breakdown writers because if they didn't then the show just would make less sense than it already is.
  20. Definitively. The show deserves closure. I do wish they would stop with the one year renewals though. I think it's hurting the show as it seems like they end up treading water storylinewise towards the end of the yearly renewal in case they have to write a quick ending.
  21. Interesting that there was an edit at the start when the guitar was supposed to break, so we didn't see it. I assume something went wrong since in those days video editing was expensive and was rarely done, instead they just opted to film the entire show "live" onto the tape. I guess something went wrong on the set when it was supposed to break.
  22. If they're going to keep Ava around for the long term I guess this is a good story as any to keep her from just being a talk-to to Tripp. (Watch Ron kill her off next month)
  23. Eh, I'd say both Pratt and Ron have the exact same issues with writing - they can write exciting stuff for a few months, but are usually unable to keep it up and usually dwindle into nonsensical camp (rather than good camp).
  24. Yep. Look at Grey's Anatomy - there's like three people who were on the show from the pilot currently? And they'll still have to cut popular characters every now and then despite being one of the highest rated shows in the lucrative 18-49 demo. Of course, Grey's is a workplace soap, so it's easier for people to just quit and write in new characters. For a family soap it's much harder as you can only introduce that many long-lost siblings, cousins and whatever before it starts getting ridiculous...
  25. It's likely that his script was rejected at least. If it's not completely dead they might try to get another writer and try again, but the writing was on the wall when it wasn't ordered to pilot.
