Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
This is the post from the exiting RH producer...Kyle/Erika/Dorit are all devastated. He's been with Evolution for many years and rose the ranks to the very top. I really hope this spells the end for Kyle and her minions.

RIP: In Memoriam Thread
I remember when Ivana was on UK Celebrity Big Brother and she got along famously with Stephanie Beacham. Stephanie remarked to Vinnie Jones: "She is the woman I play." This is the Ivana I'll remember in all her mid 90s glory jet setting to London, St. Tropez, Gstaad...

RIP: In Memoriam Thread
I loved Ivana Trump. For a moment in the 90s she was ubiquitous. Knowing her life story growing up in Communist Czechoslovakia, fleeing to Canada for freedom, becoming a model and learning English in Montreal, meeting and marrying and divorcing Donald Trump in New York...she was a real life soap opera diva come to life. During Trump's presidency she became unusually quiet, staying away from the spotlight, and seemed to age a lot in recent years and seemed unusually frail for her age. All that said, she was one of those pop culture figures that was a one off and signals that, indeed, time is marching on for all of us. She lived a fabulous life, was true to herself, and was a survivor. May she rest in peace.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
BH Dollar Store Gabor continues to be the most epic flop I've ever seen. She has made a cardinal sin for a housewife: she's admitted she's a fake. Sutton wasn't even slightly intimidated by her. Kyle's face work must be in need of a top up because the way her face looked like that of an ugly witch when Garcelle was speaking to Erika...whewwwww. Zero from Crystal. She should be axed. Zero from Dorit. She should be axed.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I wonder what took her so long...negotiating a deal of some kind? It cannot be that she was weighing the evidence - the slew of guilty pleas had to be the warning sign that the federal government had a mountain of evidence against her.

I thought they were both flops, in their own ways, so this is no loss.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Such an arrogant decision on her part. Kyle doesn't care at all. Fire up the spit because that particular pig is about to get roasted. I think Garcelle is in a great position - the audience loves her and the edit is showing these hags for what they really are. The accusations being hurled against Erika, Diana, Rinna, and Kyle are not unwarranted.

That sounds really, really good. However, I can't stomach hearing Jennifer Aydin try and defend the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Erika is such a moron. Garcelle's son looked absolutely shocked by what you said. Appalling. They all come off poorly here, but the worst is Mauricio. What a jerk. WOW. That scene with Sutton is outrageous. The way she put her hands on Sutton was aggressive and totally inappropriate. I was hoping Sutton would slap her. And that comment about "we don't know" about her miscarriages is disgusting. I've said it from the start: Kyle is a bad person. She's proven it this week. This show needs a major overhaul indeed.

NBC Picks Up Magnum P.I.
Frankly, the cancellation on CBS made little sense. I have to wonder whether, given it’s a coproduction between CBS Studios and Universal, that CBS felt like NBC should have to pay to air it for a few seasons to get it to syndication friendly 100 episodes since they’ll ultimately split the revenue long term.

BH Diana is one of the biggest flops we have seen in any Housewives franchise. She's calling Sutton boring? Girl, take your bullsh*t elsewhere. Diana also brings out a very ugly side of Kyle as she defended Diana....which of course is nothing new. Kyle gravitates towards money and power, ever the realtor's wife from the Valley...I'm sure once Mauricio has sold a listing that will be curtains for their friendship.

BB: Spoilers from location shoot in Monaco
Prince Albert of Monaco, the principality's ruler, understands that part of Monaco's allure is about Monaco's portrayal in popular media and he would know better than most (thanks to his late, great mother, Princess Grace) that Hollywood remains a very influential marketing machine. I would not be the least bit surprised if he provided the filming budget for B&B to do those episodes in Monaco. It is great for tourism and a win-win for B&B which is aired over the world. I believe B&B might have reached a similar arrangement with the rulers of the UAE when they filmed in Dubai in 2014.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Vicki is easily the worst. She is a negative succubus with a disgusting level of ignorance and entitlement. I had thought Vicki might need to return to OC...but no more. I don't love her or love to hate her. I just do not want to see her on TV again. Zero maturity or grace. She acts like a highschool mean girl bully. She is a bitter old hag who needs to disappear from any and all relevance. Dorinda is high on her own fumes. When Dorinda is given control, as she has here as hostess, she gets a bit mad with power. However, I still love her. She doesn't have a bad heart. I LOL'd at the idea of Dorinda going 'full pantomime' with her RH persona. Agreed about Tamra. She is letting herself get dragged down by awful Vicki. Jill is surprisingly overwhelmed by the other personalities on this show. I think once Jill got fired from RHONY, the air permanently left her egotistical sails and she got wise and decided she had a great life without it. Loving Phaedra the most - she is absolutely hilarious. Give her back a peach and light a fire under Kandi. Eva never had this energy when she was on ATL. Taylor has found her voice and a sense of calm. I just wish she'd throw away every dark coloured lipstick someone has foisted on her. Brandi is a mess and her face looks like a melted candle.

Terrific collage of so many of the great ladies who paved the way and blazed the trail (especially for Tonya, Veronica, Victoria, and Renee).

2022 Daytime Emmys Discussion Thread
I watched and found it very unevenly produced. The Bad What amazes me is the producers do not make clip packages about various themes like they used to - that costs virtually nothing but adds so much to the feel of the show. The clip packages that were made, for each of the nominated shows for Best Drama Series, were absolutely awful. As well, the music used when each winner took to the stage was awful. I was very disappointed for Aaron Spears to not win Supporting Actor. His scenes were very good. The same for Kimberlin Brown. I dislike her politics intensely, but her work stands on its own. The Good The Memoriam was easily the best they've ever done. Susan Lucci was class personified introducing the Memoriam. She looked beautiful and it was clear she felt the emotions very strongly given her recent loss. It was a nice touch for Helmut to be included. As I had said in his thread on this site, he was easily the most famous soap star's spouse...even a casual viewer of AMC knew who he was. I thought the choice of song was good, Michael Bolton's performance was good, and the photos for each remembrance were tasteful. The hosts, Kevin and Nischelle, did a good job in a thankless role, much better than Mario and Sheryl who'd done it poorly for years. Happy for John McCook's win. John Aniston's lifetime achievement award tribute was also nicely done. Given he is only appearing on DAYS while seated, I wasn't all that surprised he wasn't there to accept it. Suzanne Rogers did a very gracious job paying tribute to him.

I hadn't watched Y&R in months, but I've tuned in to see Jill and she, Diane, and Imani are a jolt of energy into this show.- Y&R June 2022 Discussion Thread
I've tuned in to see Jill in that sequin suit - has she tangled with anyone in any episodes I've missed? Susan Walters has energized this show - great scenes yesterday and today.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

RHOBH You've gotta hand it to them, these broads know how to put on a great show. Kyle: The Supreme has fallen and I think she might know it. Whatever face work she's recently had has also aged her. Or it's wearing off. Whatever it is, the mask is slipping in more ways than one. Dorit: I am now rolling my eyes at her and side eye her trauma. The comment about Sutton not 'warning' her that there would be cameras at her fashion launch party? Please. Once you start airing your therapy sessions on TV you are fair game for any and all criticism. Garcelle: The Supreme has risen. Garcelle knows what it takes to make a good show and she's delivering. Sutton: I like that she's holding firm on having moved on and isn't playing into the game of digging up the past. She is not falling into the trap. Crystal: This was not a good week for her. Not a good look. You're either going to say it or you're not. And if you're not, don't complain about it. Erika: Still a succubus. Not missed at Sutton's party. Diana: She brings nothing to the show other than a Dollar Store Gabor Sister Vibe. Rinna: Sad that Lois passed away. May her memory be a blessing. RH of Dubai I gave up 25 minutes in. Boring. Didn't like any of the women. Feels like UAE propaganda.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Same. It is remarkable how consistent production is in highlighting how stupid she and Ralph seem to be. Very good point. It's perhaps a bit of Column A and a bit of Column B. Sheree has always had delusions of grandeur, but production usually edited episodes so we laughed with her, rather than at her.- The Wendy Williams Thread
