The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Alice would make sense, especially if she's already put it together that Eddie is not helping Luke and Tracy. But it would have had more impact if Alice had been in the room when Tracy tried to blackmail Edward in the first place. Wasn't there also some spoiler about Lulu trying to help Tracy but failing? Was that for now or later in sweeps? Or it could be Angela - anyone who followed The Annals would know about her.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I'm watching Tuesday's show - I think we're pretty much out of luck for LuNacy today. But we have had vet sightings: Mac and Scott And Spixie is hilarious. I really hope they match them up with LuNacy and LuSam, because the younger duo could learn some serious lessons from the older duos. Yup, Scotty has been gas lighting Lulu. He was outside the door while Lulu confessed to the wig that she believes she's writing blackmail notes to herself. To be fair to Scott he didn't look surprised but he didn't look happy with the situation either. I think he is torn by all of this - wanting justice for his son but not wanting it to be Laura's daughter. We'll see how it plays out, but I don't think Scotty will be evil in all of this. I think he will just be broken and ewcbo helps put him back together (or at least they leave for that purpose). BTW, Maxie slipped the note out of Lulu's room, so that story is quickly coming to an end.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I didn't do the actual count but I was thinking it was short. We're told Luke sees Laura for the first time on Oct. 31st. Saturday/Sunday...Monday is the 3rd... Even if they are on every single day of those two weeks, it's only 10 days. They've obviously put a gag order on GF (who loves singing in the press), but I do think it was telling the last interview on this matter she said Laura was getting a romance AND Luke was returning (not WHEN Luke returned). She knew going in it wasn't an LnL reunion. I'm almost positive that TG gave his go-ahead to end LnL kindly but firmly this time around. Front row centre! Who's bringing the popcorn?
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Ah... do you hear that roar in the distance??? Me either because this is NO SURPRISE. Anyone who's been following anything knows that an LnL reunion was never in the cards. Some will get their knickers in a twist, but the rest have moved on. Now we just have to hope that it's Luke choosing Tracy and Laura wishing them well, rather than Laura choosing Scott and Luke having to make the best of it. Personally I think Lukey chooses his Wife first. BTW, wedding attire in November 2008 or wedding attire in 1977? (Hooked, thanks for the screencaps. I've been looking for that particular expression on Tracy's face for ages.)

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I hear what Lainey and Lisa are saying about yesterday, but I'm reminded about something my grandmother once said - only really talented people can make something look so bad/slap-stick. Pundits obsess in the moment, and I remember last winter with the heart attack everyone was saying they are too serious - where's the fun LuNacy. Then this past Spring it was said Tracy was nothing more than a nag - where was scheming Tracy. Now it's too much slap-stick after only two episodes and they want romantic LuNacy. It's coming, we know that. They are perhaps the most well-rounded couple on the entire show so a little slap-stick mixed in with their instant scamming should be seen as the fluff before the drama. I loved it because I know it's one more thing they do oh so well. They do this dance - and they do it brilliantly. Tracy's walls are up, Luke's walls are up, both have been disappointed by the other and they have to get their LuNacy grove back. We saw some of that yesterday with their facial expressions and Luke's back-handed assurances of love. Today we might get nothing, but tomorrow we get them locked together and really having to deal with some of their hurts. It's been five months, so of course we want a continuation of that dance in May. But that's not realistic and we have to get through the cringe-worthy moments to get to their honest feelings. That's in 2 days, btw (if spoilers are to be believed). We got through the last 21 weeks... we can get through a couple of days of 'less then stellar' LuNacy.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
You could be right, but cable guide spoilers only tell two or three stories that are happening - often there are about five running during any given day, so it's possible to get LuNacy today (Tuesday) and Friday, just not the large quantities we've been getting the last three days. Here's hoping.
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Well... considering TG writes most of his own dialogue and he's been seriously pushing LuNacy, I doubt it will change no matter what the LnL whiners say. But you are right, time to support TG/JE/LuNacy.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I do think they will be on tomorrow. Thursday and Friday they were on 6 of the 7 scenes, and today it was 5 of the 7. That's some serious screen time in LuNacy terms, and they have lots to do before they get to out of Mexico. As for Luke's constant yet comical statements of affection - when was the last time Tracy said it to him? Ever? She responds to him saying she loves him back, but he has waxed positively poetic for her and she hasn't said much to him. I'm always reminded of this when the nay-sayers try to point out that Luke isn't as romantic with Tracy as he used to wuz with ewcbo. They have their own romance and Luke is driving it.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Today's Recaps (Monday, Oct. 21st) STATS: Vets: Tracy, Luke, Mac Kisses: none - although Luke tries Sc. 1 - Tracy admits she paid the 'tax' to the other cop, and is looking for support from Luke. Repeat of the 'Snake in the Grass comment'. She still looks like she's got a smirk on her mouth, and Luke gives her a comical look. Sc. 2 - no LuNacy Sc. 3 - Psycho-babbling doctor with Lulu (reminds me of my bad Pastoral Theology courses in Seminary); Tracy sitting with cuffs on chairs, Luke saying Tracy has drugged him, cheated on him, lied to him. Fed asks why he married her. Starts to tell the LV story with Luke as the victim who woke up with the ring on his finger. Tracy can't believe her ears as Luke enjoys a few more drinks with the Feds. Then Luke says she's gotten to him, like that old song "She's Really Got a Hold on Me", she's unpredictable and she's the most fun he's ever had in his life - and that's the truth. Tracy looks at him with a smile on her face as he salutes him with her glass. Sc. 4 - no LuNacy Sc. 5 - Fed and Luke still drinking, saying Luke's done a lot for her and the Fed shakes his head saying that's what he gets for his trouble. Oh, Luke says, his 'Sweet Petunia Pie' is a different person behind close doors, and if he's ever in trouble he knows she will cover his ass. Luke keeps getting more drunk, almost crying about how wonderful she is to him. Drunken Fed walks towards Tracy holding out his hands to caress her face, saying he can see her fire and wonders out loud if he touches her will he catch on fire. Sc. 6 - Fed. takes handcuffs off then says he needs her to dance on the dance floor. Tracy says no but the Fed insists. Luke says she said no, she only dances with the one who 'brang' her. The drunken Fed pushes it, manhandling Tracy and Luke pulls the man off her then punches him. The two men muck on each other and start to brawl. Tracy grabs a bottle and tries to his the Fed over the head but gets Luke instead. Luke turns to her and says 'hit the drunk guy'. Then they brawl around and Tracy grabs another bottle hitting Luke by accident again. Luke again turns to her and says she got the wrong guy. Finally Tracy tries again and does hit the Fed who quickly slumps to the floor. Luke puts his arms out towards her and says "Baby...", but Tracy puts her hand on his forehead and pushes him away. The first Fed (whom they bribed) comes back in and says "Senior Spencer, Senora Spencer... Captain...". Then he looks at them and says "You are both under arrest". Sc. 7 - no LuNacy My thoughts: I'm ready for this to move along, although it was so Luke to tell the other man his love for her while actually meaning for her to hear it. The drunken brawl and broken bottles had me laughing out loud, and the kids thought it funny in a slap-stick way.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
YOU!!! You haven't given us anything new in ages. And I agree with your scenario. I've been envisioning something much like that. We will get the LnL tease, then Luke returns to the woman he really wants to be married to. As for 'self-preservation' I think that might be in play too. But you have to admit they aren't the most cuddly couple in the world. He needs to work to get her walls down again.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Just a thought and I didn't want to edit the former post. Are we sure the Spencer kids and LuNacy are supposed to go together? If they are supposed to be on the same plane someone goofed - the sofas, end tables and lamps are different. Perhaps the screamers go on Nick's plane while LuNacy are on the ELQ one. Wonder who heads out first, 'cause the consultations seem to happen apart (screamers with Grandma, LuNacy at SB).

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I've done a million tonnes of dishes and now I'm doing laundry.... oh the glamorous life of the stay at home mom. I was at SweetestGoodbyes and have the larger photos. This one we've seen before but I took a closer look. First I noticed that Luke's wedding ring was missing, which annoyed me, then I looked closer. His earrings and her earrings are missing too, so perhaps we will get a loud scene of them giving their jewelry to the guard and that much desired scene of him putting the rings back on her finger again. Here's hoping. (She also looks like she's about to wack him with that tray). These are the ones from the Q Jet. Lukey cleans up right nice, why does Lucky have to look so scuzzy compared to everyone else? And that does look like a photo album. Perhaps the one of Scott and Laura so the screamers can find clues. Luckily she looks more amused then mad. I can't tell if she's getting ready to laugh at him or yell at him. Not terribly flattering but at least it's not the scowl. And yup, there be Grandma Leslie.... and I have to question their set designers.... This is Lucky's house so why would there still be a wedding picture of LnL2 and why have a house so obviously unfriendly to children considering he has two young 'sons' there all the time?
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Why do they have Tracy's arms crossed? I realize she's annoyed and probably scared for her marriage, but do they constantly have to have her looking mad at the world? Oh well... at least they are together and she's not hanging out at the Q mansion waiting for a phone call... And was that Denise Alexandre in those pictures at the Spencer house? Wonder how many moth balls they had to shake off her to get her there. Wonder what Lulu is reading... scrapbook perhaps? Isn't that her favourite jacket of Tracy's? At least she looks better in those pictures. Any enlarged ones yet? BTW, I think they are saving the LuNacy Mile High for the return flight. The screamers can go with Mommy and leave Daddy to Mama!

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Hey everyone. I'm back and my 'puter is just fine. Seems his nibs got the blue screen three times then left it alone - thank God! I really wasn't ready for yet another week or two without it this year. I'm amazed by the chatter this weekend - just goes to show the difference between when LuNacy is on screen and when they are off screen. Good to see the advice about how to help them remain onscreen. And Lainey, I'm right behind you with SNL, I will sing the praises of that couple until the cows come home. After this they can bring ewcbo back for the kids as often as they want - make Tracy a little nervous which prompts Lukey to break into another version of "How to I love my Spanky Buns, let me count the ways..." I was a little 'meh' about Friday as well. I hope they pick it up. These two can be doing so much more, and it seems Guza takes weeks to create a setting (not on the slow build, unfortunately, but going in circles with the same conversation) and then bang, within a day the story is over. I'm really not interested in a LuNacy story-quickie. I want this long, drawn out and rhythmic.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Hey guys, at my church retreat. Didn't realize they had internet available. Spoilers sound good - I've just scaned them, so I might have missed something. My husband calls in the middle of the morning to the Emergency line saying he's done something bad to my computer. 1: what he was doing with my computer is beyond me, and B: what he thinks I can do 2 hours away is beyond me. I just hope it's fine or my recapping will come to a very swift end. Hope you are all doing well.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
As to no LuNacy love - the look Tracy gave Luke wasn't clear, so she was either really pissed or knows he's up to something. Her facial expression should tell us. Sorry I couldn't be clearer. As for the ewcbo fans - they are picking at the flesh of another relationship because the bones of the carcass of LnL are pretty bleached in the sun, they've been out there so long. As for kisses - they really haven't been in that mood yet. Give it time. Some of the heartfelt stuff was in the air today. And with that I'm off for the weekend. See you Sunday night.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Today's Recaps, Friday Oct. 17th (I'm dating them because they will be daily for awhile - ain't that great!!!) Stats: Vets - Tracy, Luke, Bobbie called on speaker - but no showing , Edward (still in that hat) Kisses - nada Sc. 1 - The Fed starts listing the reason he's there, charges of disturbing the peace, destruction of property, running out on a bar tab. Luke takes offence at the last one saying he's never run out on a bar tab - he has his standards. Tracy yells she's heard enough. She would be content for the Federale to take him if it wasn't for Lulu. Sc. 2 - So chilly Popsicle? You expected me to follow you? Luke grabs her clutch telling her to brib the Federele, saying he's only looking for a brib because he saw Tracy, found out she was his wife and then the charges started spilling out. Tracy says if she finds out this is kicking back to Luke she will get him. Luke wonders why he never thought of that, but assures her it won't - they are a team. Luke digs the money out of Tracy's purse and tells her to give it to the Fed. Tracy does, saying she hopes this will deal with everything. The Fed offers one more threat saying he better not see Luke causing trouble anymore. Luke assures him they won't and the Fed leaves. Luke says okay, lets get out of here, but Tracy stops him and says he's not going anywhere. Sc. 3 - No LuNacy Sc. 4 - "Buttercup, now that we've paid the man lets leave." "Sweetheart, we can't." "Why not, does my daughter need me or not?" "Yes she does - with her, not in jail. We have to wait until we hear from Daddy that the charges are dropped." "That could take years." "Don't underestimate Daddy." "Don't underestimate Scott Baldwin, he could have me on every wanted list going." The Fed comes back in with his hand out and Tracy asks Luke if he wants more money. Luke says think of it as the installment plan. Sc. 5 - Tracy on phone with Edward telling him to hurry up. Edward saying he's trying and Scott keeps coming up with new charges. Edward telling Tracy the wheels of justice spin slowly. Tracy tells Luke they have to wait, but Luke says no way, no one keeps him from his daughter. Tracy smirks and says she's always been a fan of better late than never, but he wasn't there when it mattered. Luke leans back in his chair, knowing she's saying the truth. Sc. 6 - Scrubs discuss calling their baby Georgie; Spixie trying to get Lulu out of SB; Luke thought Tracy didn't like giving lectures. She doesn't but when he gets back to SB/PC he has to have a clear head. Luke thinks he will manage alright. Tracy says it isn't pretty. Luke is convinced Lulu has too much Spencer in her to break like Laura. Tracy scoffs then the Fed returns and Tracy can't believe it. She reaches for money in her purse and Luke trying to tell her not to pay this one, but she does anyway. Then she looks up and says no one should be arrested, and the new-Fed says you will be for trying to pay off a police officer. Tracy and Luke look at each other with jaws dropped. Sc. 7 - Tracy in cuffs, saying the payment is a 'tax', just like she paid the other officer. The Fed takes note that she tried to brib other officers. Luke sits there drinking, and Tracy asks if he's going to do something. Luke says "Officer, this woman is a snake in my grass. I'll pay anyone to take her away. Drinks for the house." Tracy glares at Luke (I can't see clearly if she is smirking or not, but I think she might see his humour). Ed. comment: Ruah hears Luke says that and went "Whoa"; she thinks he was mean

Oy... I haven't even had my breakfast yet and the first thing that greets me is hair chatter. And folks, it's one day in Port Charles - or at this point, Mexico - so the hair is with us for another week at least.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
You could totally be right about the RW thing, but I'm wondering if this isn't the real secret either. SD is really negative today - which is when I like to stir it up . LnLers are having such a hard time, and because they have been so hateful about LuNacy I can't help but enjoy their justified distress. I'm wondering if Luke heads out to help Laura, Tracy says not without her, Luke says he doesn't want her dragged into this any further, Tracy reminds him they are husband/wife and 'wither thou goest', then kissing her he agrees and they go off as a team. I have serious doubts Tracy is going to be trounced for a couple of episodes with Laura. Not going to happen that way, and LuNacy will be stronger than ever. Stay here, Hooked... it's a great day! As for the funny - I think you have to A: appreciate the subtle humour of TG/JE and B: not be anti-TG to begin with. Lots of folks at SD are anti-TG, so they won't appreciate any of it.
-
The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
I'll try to be. This much from the negative spoilers I can debunk. - Tracy is NOT keeping Laura a secret from Luke. - Luke is NOT keeping Laura a secret from Tracy. - Tracy is NOT manipulating Luke in any way. - Tracy and Luke are NOT fighting. - Tracy is NOT angry at Luke (at least not right now). - Luke is happy to see Tracy and already trying to get a little something-something. And now I'm thinking the 'Secret' might be Edward's internet name - the way they played it Luke might have known about it already.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
Hey Nex, thanks. Just in time for today's recaps. Hope you are enjoying being back at 'work' like I am. We could potentially have 7 days straight of Tracy/LuNacy. When was the last time that happened? Ever??? So, Today's recap. Stats Vets - Luke, Tracy Kisses - Luke kissing Tracy's forearm Scenes - everything but #2 Sc. 1 - Tracy enters Mexican bar and shows the bar keeper the picture. The bartender says yes, he's been here for awhile and points to a table. Tracy confused turns around and sees him, walks over to the table and grabs his shirt pulling him up (he's passed out on the table). Tracy says "Husband", Luke (with french fries stuck on his lips) says "Wife?". Tracy lets him drop, puts her hand on her hip and sighs in disgust. NEW OUTFIT; Lulu back on (JMB must have returned from her honeymoon) and asks Maxie if she's seen Johnny. Sc. 2 - Lulu acting really wacky; no LuNacy Sc. 3 - Tracy pours a pitcher of water over Luke's head. Luke sits up and asks for more Tequila. Tracy says no Tequila, he's back on the wagon. Tracy cleans up the glasses on the tables and bangs them together, bothering Luke's hangover. Luke continues wanting a drink and Tracy says he can drink himself away, eating nachos and pork rinds all he wants but right now he has pay attention to Lulu, remember Lulu, your daughter? Luke smiles about Lulu and asks how she is. Tracy says she's more like her mother every day, which makes Luke smile again. Then Tracy says she's in SB, right across the hall from Laura. Tracy wipes his face with his shirt. Luke looks at Tracy, trying to work through his haze and pay attention. Sc. 4 - Spinelli finally visits Lulu - I wonder if they've drugged Lulu, because she's sounding really spacy; Luke is drinking coffee. In Spanish Luke asks for Brandy. Tracy says no Brandy just keep the coffee coming or the barkeeper will regret it, then he leaves. Luke says Tracy doesn't understand 'hair of the dog'. Tracy says she only cares about Lulu, while she wipes Luke's head some more then helps him put his shirt on - Luke keeps kissing her arm while she helps him. Tracy gets frustrated with him and leaves him to his shirt, then sits down across the table from him, trying to tell him she's concerned with Lulu. Luke laughs at her saying she only wants him to come home to fulfill his conjugal obligations, and he's quite prepared to do that (smiling). Tracy says she is there because of Lulu and tells him about Logan going after her. Luke doesn't believe Logan would do that. Then Tracy tells him how he tried to rape Claudia and Johnny murdered him. Luke makes some comment about Logan being Scott's spawn so he isn't surprised. Then Tracy tells Luke Lulu feels responsible for Logan's death since Logan wanted her and she pushed him away. Luke says that doesn't make sense, and Tracy says 'exactly'. Luke really is trying hard to keep up. Sc. 5 - Tracy says Lulu is in real trouble. Luke still isn't understanding it, thinking Lulu simply 'rescued her man'. Tracy tells them they carjacked the Major, which makes Luke laugh. Tracy continues saying Lulu started hallucinating Logan, so Johnny brought her to SB. Luke is still convinced this was part of their plan. Tracy takes a deep breath then continues - Johnny was arrested and Lulu got a straight jacket. Johnny was put on trial, Scott lied about Logan being a cop to make it a death penalty case and forces Lulu on the stand, and by the end she's confessing to Logan's murder. Thank heaven no one believed her, but now she's in SB very sick. Luke sits up straight after this latest information, saying Scott is a son of a bitch (and possibly he's get Scott, but that could be my imagination with the kids in the background). Sc. 6 - Luke now with coffee, saying Scott put Lulu on the stand because of him. Tracy agrees. Luke asks about Johnny and Tracy says he's fine, Claudia managed to get him acquitted so he's free and Lulu is still in SB. And there's more. Tracy tells Luke that two days after the trial Lulu called Nicholas/Lucky in to see Laura. Lulu was convinced Laura woke up and talked to her to help her through the trial. Luke is surprised and asks if it was possible. Tracy says she looked in on Laura herself and spoke to the doctors. There was no change. All of it was in Lulu's head. Okay, Luke agrees, it's time to go home. Tracy is relieved and goes to pay at the bar. In the meantime Luke stands up, puts his hands on his hips, then falls flat on his face. Tracy looks over her shoulder but doesn't turn completely around to see him. NOTE: neither Tracy or Luke know about Laura being awake, so that is not the secret. Sc. 7 - Tracy helps Luke sit down, he says he didn't have a heart attack he just lost his consciousness for a few days, he's ready to go now. Tracy says they can go but she has to call Daddy to see if the charges are dropped. Luke thinks that will all be over in a day or two anyway so why would Edward be involved. Then he gets really suspicious and wags his finger at Tracy, telling her if she's using his daughter to manipulate him he's... As she's wiping the dirt off his face, Tracy says no she's not doing that at all, Lulu really does need him. Then Luke wonders how Edward got involved and Tracy says it doesn't matter, she just blackmailed him a little. Luke asks with what. Tracy says internet dating. Luke laughs and asks what Edward's name is. Tracy says 'SellHighAndSplit'. Luke thinks that sounds right, and agrees it's time to go. They make motions towards the door when a Federale walks in and says something to 'Luke Spencer' in Spanish (someone will have to translate for me). Tracy asks the barkeeper what he said and the barkeeper tells her she doesn't want to know.

The Tracy Quartermaine Lovefest
That was too funny... I love watching them... wow, 16 years since they were all together.
