  1. I know right. I'll actually be alright given I just realized I can watch it on the Youtube TV App on my phone but it would be nice to save for later on the big screen lol.
  2. I think you're right as I think the movie Body Heat came out the year before, what a difference their careers took. I'm guessing it would have been someone Pam would have known, wonder if Harley Kozak was considered? I remember Josh and Cassie being teased for just about most of 1998. It started with the clone story and then later on with Annie drugging Josh but given the nature of their storyline orbits it would never would have worked at all.
  3. I loved this! I love it that a tipsy Zimmer spills so much tea I think she needs to write a follow-up book! Zimmer was not the original choice for Reva though? Who was then, Kathleen Turner?
  4. Anyone know how to record it on Youtube TV? My DVR only records new episodes, I might miss out on it tomorrow and I know CBS is too pitiful to even save it for All Access later.
  5. Agreed! To be fair though the real highlight of the episode watching it this time around was that scene where Katherine greets John & Jill. Dickson really shines in that moment, cowering behind John, having an irritated expression, and looking away/not making eye contact, and acting surprised when spoken to. Even if it was just 30 seconds you could feel the hate so much!
  6. That's interesting! I think I remember now reading she had done ATWT in the past but couldn't even remember when. I do recall the first time I watched the episode here Dorothy Connors confessed to killing Whit McColl I watched the credits and was like "who the heck are these people writing the show?!" as almost none of the credited names in that era rang an immediate bell. Klein was responsible for bringing Damien back and then having him remain as a monk correct while having Emily erase all the evidence of Kirk's involvement in Diego's murder right? Yeah no wonder she didn't last long.
  7. They show became totally became Trash TV, and not even in an entertaining way at all. The one I example I always use from the this era was Jessica being stalked by white supremacists who planted a car bomb in what they thought was either Jessica or Tom's car, but turned out to be Kim's car and it exploded with Kim in the car on the one year anniversary of the OKC bombing. That always and they always showed Mark and Connor having romp in their treehouse in juxtaposition of certain events, even in the aftermath of Emily's rape by Diego. Diego was believable as a sexy bad boy but throw in most wanted international terrorist was so stretched out and not even a good idea and then get killed by Kirk who framed Lily and Margo for murder which was wayyyy out character for Kirk. The highlights out of these years though was always the acting and the cast themselves, otherwise I do believe ATWT would have totally collapsed without a stable, loyal talented cast. That and the show gained both Ben and Molly; we hated them at first but fell in love with them later, while Carly's return and her schemes were really fun in comparison to the dreary Teague story or anything Andy was given before his 2000 exit.
  8. Day ??? of Self-isolation and quarantine, finished 1994 and 1995, was wondering if I should move ahead to 1996 and 1997 or just skip to the best parts? I was so disappointed when the wheels fell off the Demorest/Walsh tenure but I suppose between FMB and the arrival of the MADD one there was a lot of interference during that time. Bringing back Stenbeck and then hiring a writer from 90210 to write the show, they were completely clueless on how to run ATWT weren't they?
  9. Lol I remember when Y&R reaired that 1984 wedding ep back in on NYE 2016 it still garnered a 2.5 even though it didn’t count lol.
  10. Thanks!! I remember the WOST website had the whole week posted when that site was running but that was like 15 years ago so I know I was a little confused. I wouldn’t mind seeing a seeing a couple post 2003 episodes again but the more pre-2003 episodes the better. I’ll be slightly annoyed if Michael and Lauren’s wedding ep gets reaired for the 18th time lol.
  11. I knew you would be excited! My only concern is that the episodes will be heavily edited for current time/commercial standards. I recall when Y&R aired the Victor/Nikki wedding on NYE a few years back they cut the Jack & Patty scenes out.
  12. Trump is either high off something or sick, it’s very quite obvious!!!
  13. Justin Chambers is officially OUT: https://www.bustle.com/p/justin-chambers-has-left-greys-anatomy-his-final-episode-has-already-aired-19784673
  14. Oh lol the show has been renewed for a fourth season!!! https://www.tvshowsace.com/2020/01/09/dynasty-season-4-how-did-cws-lowest-rated-show-get-renewed/
  15. That would be have be fun!! The show did good nabbing Miriam Colon for the role of the twisted matriarch, although I did hate what went down with Selena’s exit. Thank god the lost Santos brother never resurfaced as planned. About the only story from 2001 I remember liking was the Billy/Holly/Buzz triangle which was rather fun when they were actually on and Alan dumping Claire for Olivia.
  16. Lol really? I just can’t figure out why they keep replying to messages I posted 10+ years ago.
  17. Oh gosh 2001 was such a mess of a year for GL. 48% of it was awful Santos family melee, 48% of it was horrific San Cristobel drivel, and the other 2% was focused on hogwash such as Rick/Harley/Phillip and Romeo Jones. What was so funny is Rauch touted Gold as “not hack who has been on 18 different shows” even though Gold had previously actually worked with Rauch on both AW and OLTL.
  18. Gotcha, I couldn't even find her casting notated in my '90's documents anywhere at all, which is bad since I have a well documented compilation of GL cast from 1992-1998 document although I know its not entirely accurate or exact. Anyone know who for sure who she was on Loving? Her IMDB lists a whopping 837 episodes lol.
  19. Or did what the show did later with Jack&Jennifer and Belle & Shawn-D later and kept recasting and recasting until they found a story break to ship them out lol.
  20. Lol I'm still trying to figure out her last two roles on Loving and GL, I have who the heck those characters are even if they're supporting!
  21. I remember the day ATWT was cancelled Les Moonves was being interviewed by Faber, Faber asked Moonves about it and Moonves made some very crass remarks about ATWT to Faber. I had to wonder if Moonves even knew that Masters was his mother-in-law.
  22. I know this is several months late, but thank you so much for sharing @dc11786!!!! I remember enjoying what I saw of Loving there in the early 90s. Lol I remember poor Jeff to give him *some* credit, he did try to call the family to tell them Trisha was alive, but nobody was home to answer the phone! The next time we saw Jeff was when Shana and Leo moved to Rome, except all we saw of Trisha at that point was just her backside. I enjoyed Ava, Egypt(played by the very underrated soap hopper Linda Cook), Shana, and Dinahlee, a nice batch of leading ladies well suited for a quirky little soap. As for Ally/Casey/Stephanie/Cooper, if I recall right Ally and Casey fell madly in love with each other and became the show's "supercouple". Ally and Cooper spent the night together (once) when they went to New York (Ally to see Carley and Cooper to surprise Hannah). Cooper was the one that was surprised, when he saw Hannah, getting out from the shower at her piano tutor's house, thanking the tutor for "last night" and how it was as wonderful as he said it would be. Cooper, of course, thought sex, and never let Hannah explain that she was talking about a piano duet.) Hurt and feeling betrayed, Cooper turned to Ally, who herself felt betrayed by Casey. So the two slept together. Ally got pregnant. Ally was worried about money and stuff. The three got together and agreed that Ally and Cooper would get married so the baby would have health coverage during delivery and would get a trust fund. Then Cooper and Ally would get divorced. So, Ally and Cooper got married just before the baby was born. Casey ended up being with Ally when the baby was delivered, which was good since he had been to all of the Lamaze classes with Ally. Cooper fell in love with Ally but Ally didn't really love Cooper, as she still was in love with Casey. Cooper was being very manipulative, and I don't care for him much. He arranged with his Aunt Isabel for her to "disown" him. He followed Ally when she moved out of the mansion. He hasn't really lost his trust fund, and Tyler will always have money. He is now using this incident with Tyler to guilt Ally into staying with him. Casey found out, and Cooper, through the goodness of his heart, finally gave up on Ally. Casey and Ally then married.
  23. Lol, here's this infamous gem I had dug up first shared on December 5, 1998 in both SoapNews and in the AW discussion section of the long defunct Jump The Shark website. I wonder what exactly happened:
  24. Vana Tribbey (Alice Matthews Frame #4) was married to M*A*S*H actor Larry Linville in the late '70s and early '80s. John Clarke's(Mickey, Days) daughter is Melinda Clarke(The O.C., Nikita remake, Dallas revival, also played Faith on Days back in the day. ) Juliet Mills (Tabitha, Passions) is the sister of Hayley Mills. Jeffrey Byron (had recurring roles on PC, Y&R, and B&B in the late '90s is the son of Anna Lee. Spencer Grammer (horrible Lucy recast on ATWT in 2006) is the daughter of Kelsey Grammer. Vanessa Marcil was married to Corey Feldman. Joseph Breen (Scott ATWT) is Johnny Cash's step-son in law. Lol I remember for the longest there was a misconception spread that Allyson Rice-Taylor was married to Duran Duran's Andy Taylor but her husband was simply a different Andy Taylor.
  25. Actually, he did, given he gave into temptation with Sheila in the first place. Scott was always going to be #3 for Lauren after Paul and Brad of course, and the fact she was pretty much trapped into a loveless marriage with Scott just to gain some of custody for her biological son I just had to feel for Lauren being stuck with some fake goody two shoes guy who was wrong for her. It was an interesting twist Bell did for the story, whereas most other soaps would have had Scott and Lauren happily reunite like nothing happened until their next speed bump whereas Lauren had completely moved on. I absolutely adorned AD's Diane from in 1997-99, she had such a regal presence that remains unmatched.
