  1. SOW at the time said that Nixon and Mctavish did not agree on the direction of the show (whatever that means) but didn't get into any other specifics. As for Washam (and Broderick), they both left AMC around the time when McTavish was promoted to headwriter.
  2. The thing I had trouble wrapping my head around during the original Kendall storyline was as to why Dimitri would go along with helping Kendall track down her rapist father, knowing how much it would upset Erica.
  3. Not sure where to post this on the board, but this seemed like a good thread for it: "I really like soap operas," says Lynch. "I got hooked when I was printing engravings at art school. This lady I was printing with was just completely addicted to two particular soap operas - Another World and The Edge Of Night - so I got hooked as well. I dug them. The frustrating thing about them is that they draw the smallest torments out forever. It works, but it´s frustrating. It think ours will be a hair less frustrating. We´ll see. We may fall into the same thing." http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:TGMYskjdFo0J:ncadjarmstrong.com/year-3-postmodern-moving/david-lynch-twin-peaks.docx+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
  4. One that stand out in my mind is Luke running through the amusement park through rides and obstacle courses from the bad guys from one reason or another. Anyone remember where that is from?
  5. I saw a scene on munecojim's channel when Julie confronts Ross that she knows, but I'm not sure that's the first time that's revealed to the audience.
  6. It's definitely slower pace. Some have complained there's not enough plot progression, but what I think Lynch is getting at is wanting you to experience the moment rather than just let it wash over you.
  7. Has this interview with Kyle been posted? His comments about Cooper are interesting seeing as we haven't seen that character yet. http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/actors/kyle-maclachlan-dale-cooper-mr-c-dougie/

  9. My first feelings about that scene were that the camera froze somehow like that scene with Cooper in Fire Walk with Me.
  10. So cool! Who's that in the orange shirt next to James? Also love seeing Sherilyn doing the Audrey dance in that EW video and Laura whispering to Cooper.
  11. If anyone's interested, this old news group has daily AMC recaps from 1984-1986 https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/net.tv.soaps
  12. Any TP fan looking for a new show to watch until TP comes on in May, I enjoyed the pilot of FX's Legion. Dreamy yet Nightmarish look into the subconscious somewhat similar to Lynch. That's what it reminded me of when I watched it anyway.

  14. I also noticed Madeline Zima is following Josh Fadem. Wonder if that means they'll have scenes? Also a new interview with James Morrison
