At the risk of sounding like those idiot pundits on television and online, the GA gubernatorial race might be one of those occasions where people will be going to bed not knowing who the winner is.

If only *I* had been driven to my polling location by "Jack McCoy," lol. Missing power cords/not plugged in? Locked in a closet? I'd laugh at the second grade-level skulduggery if this weren't so damned serious. And could someone tell me if it was true that Brian Kemp was foiled by his own voter ID law? 'Cuz if it is, then that is too damn funny, and too damn perfect.

Fortunately, there were paper ballots at my voting location. As long as you can color inside the appropriate box (with a pen that the election board provides), you're good. Of course, they still had to be fed through a scanner when completed. And there's always a possibility of ballots simply being thrown away. Damn, this is a depressing line of thought. No wonder I hadn't voted more often. I wish it were possible to vote online or by smartphone (or both).

You know what would be a better way to say F U? Feeding Kemp and his ilk the same bad street tacos that had me camped out in my bathroom two nights ago.

I voted as well, even as I continue to battle food poisoning. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait TOO long in line to vote. I was in and out of a local Anglican church within an hour. Unfortunately, though, OK has been, is and will continue be a "deep red" state; so, unless Pam Long has another Christmas miracle up her sleeve, I don't expect much to change here. Nevertheless, I felt it was important at least to cast my vote on several state questions that could, if passed, result in amendments to our state's constitution.

Please don't take my comment personally, ClassicTVShowsFan. It wasn't directed toward you at all. By all means, share with us whatever you wish to. Same here. Nevertheless, I think the article makes two good points: 1) that it was NOT "economic anxiety," as Mathis and others have phrased it, that powered Trump; and 2) that newsrooms need more and better representation of people of color.

I am not here for washed-up child actors wanting to become relevant again.

Did I miss something (again)? Who is "they," and what did they attempt to do to my baby daddy, Robert Mueller? As Ralph Furley would say, "DAMN!!".

Could someone explain to me a little more clearly what this means? For example: Mama Khan, an African-American, was born on U.S. soil. However, Papa Khan, a native of Georgetown, British Guyana, never obtained U.S. citizenship. (He came to this country forty-six years ago this month, on a visa, but he had let that visa expire by the time he and Mama Khan married.) Does this mean I'm in danger, since one of my parents was a non-citizen at the time of my birth? We Have. To Vote. That's all there is to it.

Frankly, I'd have been surprised if Bubbles hadn't tapped someone like "Rabbi" Jacobs to offer that prayer. In his eyes, the shooting wouldn't have happened if they had loved them some Jesus. THEY MIGHT HAVE DISEASES!," it's all I can do not to climb aboard the nearest clock tower with a high-powered rifle and hurt some people. ("They're not following the rules! They're coming here to hurt us!" Trust me, the damage they could do to us doesn't compare to the damage we're doing to ourselves.) I'm serious. I'm this [!@#$%^&*] close to losing it over others' insane reactions to the migrants. I think that's the story that affects me the most deeply. Here we had someone who survived perhaps the greatest atrocity committed in modern times -- someone who, no doubt, was witnessing what had been unfolding since the election and wondering if it all was happening again -- and how does he die? At the hands of a white supremacist. As one of my fellow members of the Philolexian Society would say, "there's an irony in there...somewhere." Forget the needle, I want the s.o.b. who killed these people to get the gas chamber. His delusional ass deserves nothing less. The GOP is good at selling snake oil to the masses, I'll grant 'em that!
