  1. Remember when Josh left SF because he thought he spotted Reva, who was still presumed dead, in some sort of travel video? Did they ever explain that loose end when Robert Newman came back to the show?
  2. "Lying Liars and the Liars Who Lie for Them -- Next 'Donahue'!"
  3. Forgive me, but I am so overwhelmed by Corsi's bombshells that I cannot think straight. Is he saying he knew all along who had hacked into the DNC's email server and nevertheless blamed Seth Rich? And that Roger Stone was complicit in the deception? If so, then how does this tie into Mueller's investigation?
  4. Of all the sanctimonious things that people have said on this board over the years, this really takes the metaphorical cake. It's also laughable as hell, because if anyone's misinforming and/or correcting others around here, it's you. As if you had any knowledge at all of the BTS pecking order at these shows, which you clearly do not. Honestly, why in God's name are you still here? Didn't you threaten to go away and not come back not too long ago? What made you turn back? Was it the fact that the rest of the world didn't give a damn about you or ill-informed opinions either? Since our repeated demands that the 'Ignore Users' feature on SON be fixed continue to go unheard, I'll just come right out and say it: get lost. Seriously. Take your ignorant, self-serving, holier-than-thou ass and go, you literal waste of space. No, he's not "deeply misinformed." He's a fool and a damn liar -- and if there's a God in Heaven, and a genuine moderator at the SON switches, he'll soon be one less jackass we have to tolerate.
  5. No matter what he does or where he goes, there will always be a stain of illegitimacy on Kemp's governorship in GA.
  6. As Kathie Lee Gifford would say, that's a "godwink."
  7. A Mike/Nola pairing with Armand Assante and Kathryn Harrold would have been golden.
  8. That's what happens when you have a thirty-minute sitcom with a lot of characters to service every week. Inevitably, some characters, such as D.J. and Geena, will fall through the metaphorical cracks.
  9. I didn't know about the rumors regarding Roberts and Kavanaugh. That's interesting.
  10. Unfortunately, as long as Bill and Hillary Clinton remain alive and well, people will want them prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. As marceline said upthread, the media and the GOP have spent the better part of two decades (and more) training these individuals to hate the Clintons. They don't know WHY they hate the Clintons, of course; but hate them, they do (and with a passion). Also, it's obvious Trump just wants the DOJ to take the heat off himself and the Mueller investigation.
  11. Exactly. However, in order to sell America on the idea of starting another war with Iraq and Saddam, they had to lie about finding WMD's in Iraq. (Which there weren't, of course, as folks were insisting even back then. Just as folks were confused and outraged that tracking down and capturing and/or killing the architects of 9/11 suddenly turned into rooting out and annihilating Saddam.) Frankly, I think George W. Bush attained the presidency with the idea of settling the score with Saddam. He had no other goals, no other agendas -- that was strictly Dick Cheney's and others' domain. All he cared about was destroying Saddam and toppling his regime; and he used the most devastating act of terrorism on U.S. soil to make that happen.

  13. Ironically, Peg Bundy was created with Roseanne in mind. ;)
  14. Agree. One feels the love for the genre that writers put into their websoaps. But, like the song says, sometimes love just ain't enough.
  15. I don't want to get my hopes up, because pendulums always swing in the other direction, but it's nice to know some states have rejected Trumpism.
  16. Also, his haircut is stupid.
  17. Well, tomorrow IS Friday.
  18. That's your opinion. IMO, GL was watchable with and without Long. However, that was because GL still had excellent sub-writers, such as Nancy Curlee and Stephen Demorest, who maintained some consistency throughout all the backstage turmoil.
  19. Aside from Johnny Bauer's bout with cancer, I actually enjoyed watching GL during that period. OTOH, anything from 1998 forward was a different story.
  20. Brexit has never made sense to me. Ergo, it's glad to see developments such as these occurring.
  21. Agree. Many people played a role in getting us where we are now. Zuckerberg and Sandberg are just two.
  22. Same here!
  23. We can only hope. I'm sorry to hear of the allegations against Avenatti. However, if this means he's been knocked out of contention for 2020, then perhaps there's a silver lining.
  24. The WH says Acosta's press credentials were revoked because he was rude? Who's their official spokesperson now, Stephanie Tanner?
  25. Good: https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/416455-michigan-man-gets-up-to-10-years-in-prison-for-shooting-at-black
