The way Passions was when it ended no it wont especially in the Metoo movement

That was because JER started that wave of stories. It took a long time before Days took a break from the sci-fi

Sussman-Mornia is not like jER at least when JER on Passions/Days

Ok Maybe that part but the whole Daniel & Carly being Melanie's parents were Tomsell

The whole melanie/Daniel/Maggie story was started under Gary Tomlin & Chris Witesell

I liked the MarDar Days. Yes it was slow but For one I thought slow was the right way with Will's coming out Yes Marlene's HWing at AMC was very good

Oh no hate on Lisa shes a good producer Im just shocked she & JER worked so long together

With DAYS he had SONY & Corday though that may have said too much At Passions as HW & Creator I feel he had more control than eve EP, Lisa De Cozette

and it got more abusive to women not just physically but dialogue too Then JER is very anti LGBT and that Valerie/Vincent story was just OTT

I Liked til like maybe early 2003 then it flew way off course

I dont like stories were women are constantly abused, drugged and raped, not entertaining to me sorry

Yeah I wonder why since he was abusing & making her be a hooker & putting her on drugs

Im talking the character of Jessica at the time. Danica didnt write that crap, JER did

Wasnt Jessica who was a strong character under Mary Elizabeth & Jade made weaker under Danica and Jessica started datting and married a man who pimped her out & abused her

Kay, Jessica, Hank, Miquel, Fox, Simone, Chad, Gwen, Rebecca, Ethan and they were important characters to stories 7 all recast at one time or another

Yeah I feel they had a plan maybe til around Josh Evans' death in 2002 then they threw long term plot out and went shock value All the recasting of main characters didnt help

Passions just relied too much on negative streotypes and tropes

The show had women as victims of Violence and rape as a constant. The LGBT representation. Vincent/Valerie were Villians and so was simone's GF, Rae Sorry there was a very catholic stance that Women and the LGBT are non equals Vincent as valerie had sex with his own father JER did DAYS well but he wasnt in control of that Passions was his and it was a mess and not always a fun mess. In fact not much fun at all

Im sure a writer could be found to do this justice and without the bigotry that came from JER
