OMG, it drives me insane!!!

I totally gasped when Anita fainted. BTG is on fire and we got a cliffhanger Friday episode. I wasn't thrilled when Kial appeared to drop off the face of the earth but yet again he breezed back in seamlessly. Leslie is definitely a piece of work but I think she's met her match with Shanice. Hopefully, we get a catfight soon.

CRAP!!! I know I shouldn't be but BTG ratings are so disappointing to me because I really enjoy the show. But, we have no clue what the delayed viewing numbers are or how it does on Paramount+. I just wish CBS had announced BTG renewal today with the 10 other scripted dramas. That would certainly calm my uneasiness.

I am going to throw my predictions out there for 2026 and Ron Carlivati is going to be a vitally important catalyst of what's to come for daytime. RC is either going to be the new headwriter at Y&R and will finally get a Producer credit or NBC/Universal/Peacock is going to create a brand-new soap and he will get the MVJ treatment or ABC is going to revive AMC/OLTL or some hybrid of both shows and he will have a key role. Let the conversation commence.

Y&R is just bad. I love the costume designer and the sets are not terrible, but the stories are just not good and they haven't been for YEARS at this point. From the Ashland Locke debacle, to the Aristole Dumas nonsense, bringing back Cameron and now Matt, it's just more drivel. The business stories swapping CEO's like changing a pair of socks is just more crap. And I know, why am I still watching??? I honestly don't know 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

I'm assuming budget and TPTB knowing the difficulties of launching a brand new soap. My understanding is that CBS was making sure production could handle the vigorous demands of daytime before going full throttle. Season three should be 250 episodes if I understood KM correctly during her interview.

I truly appreciate something "different" happening on the show and them using different characters. However, I find the way they are explaining RJ and Will's relationship or Electra and RJ not knowing one another extremely odd. There is NO WAY, Electra wouldn't know what RJ looks like. Also, it's still ICK to me that yes, they are not blood related, but they are still cousins. They conveniently bring up the Marone factor as a plot device. I am all for the next generation coming in while sprinkling in the vets. Hopefully, we will never see another Hope/Liam/Steffy or Ridge/Taylor/Brooke story again. I'm curious why Brad Bell married off Liam & Hope, Bill & Katie and soon to be Carter & Daphne, so quickly. And I love Finn & Steffy as a couple but happy is boring if not done right. I'll remain cautiously optimistic that Brad Bell really has a plan.

I loved the inside Fairmont Crest episode today. This cast just gels so well together and it showed how they genuinely enjoy each other. Approaching it's one year anniversary, the show has found it's footing and the kind of show it wants to be. BTG has undoubtedly become my favorite soap, hands down. I'm glad it exist and is here for us all to see. As for the preemptions in season one, AGAIN, only 200 episodes were ordered. They still had to fill the other 50 episodes with something. Season two will have 238 episodes, according to Karla Mosley, therefore less preemptions. Hopefully, it's finally understood and better communication will be had with Canada and the other territories the show airs in.

Dani, Dani, Dani!!! You have grown so much these past 11 months and I have truly loved seeing that. But, I think it's totally within Dani's character to be drawn back to Bill during this difficult time. The problem for me now is I love Dani & Andre too. What a conundrum.

I don't understand why the show made the huge announcement Greg Vaughan was joining the show only to feature him twice and then he just vanishes. It's been a month since he last aired. I guess this would be my one big complaint with the show. I really enjoyed JV's introduction today. Like GV, he just fit in seamlessly. I just hope the pacing of appearances is fixed quickly.

DAYS never learns. Why must management make the same stupid mistakes? Sure, trim the fat to help the budget, but doing it with the wrong characters is moronic. What an accomplishment that DAYS was able to celebrate it's 60th year but the show needs to be multigenerational. The show has been boring for awhile now and it hasn't ranked in the top 10 in months. They are getting rid of the wrong people.
