BTG is starting season 2 firing on all cylinders. My only complaint, where the hell is Greg Vaughan??? The two episodes we saw of Dr. Kial Rollins I really liked. He fit in seamless with the cast and he has great chemistry with Daphnee Duplaix. I really hope that it turns out Vanessa is playing Joey and this is all part of an FBI sting or something. A boy can hope.

IIRC, Tessa is bisexual. I've never liked Tessa but Mariah has been treating her like crap for months and her seeking comfort with Daniel isn't completely far-fetched. This story with Mariah attempting to smother "Duncan" from ATWT would have been more plausible if Camryn Grimes was actually on screen as opposed to it being played offscreen and discussed once a month. In 2026 CBS/Sony needs to FIRE JG.

Today was really awful. Everything about it was incredibly bad. I was actually embarrassed.

Though the subject matter in today's episode was heavy, it was a almost perfectly executed episode. It's no secret how much I love BTG, but episode 200 hit all the notes. It was previously mentioned about the establishing shots of the different mansions in Fairmont Crest but I hope we have more of that to clearly differentiate between them. MVJ is a goddess and deserves all the accolades. If BTG isn't your cup of tea, great, but it's definitely mine. Here's to an amazing season 2 and 2026!!!

Seeing this classic episode really does validate aĺl the harsh criticism of today's Y&R, that it so rightly deserves. From the beautiful direction, camera work, extras in the background, the use of multiple sets, demonstrate how sorely lacking and pathetic what we are seeing today. I didn't watch Y&R regularly back then, however, I always kept an eye on the show. I think I have watched all the episodes since 2011/2012. The different regimes over the years have all tried to leave their marks, modernizing the show, but failing and stripping the show of it's true identity. Josh Griffith needs to go. There should be no ifs, ands or buts he needs to go, literally right now.

The ratings are so weird. For several weeks Thursdays would be the lowest day of the week for BTG and the other CBS soaps. Now it looks like Fridays. I've said it before, there is so much more data that we're not privy to. Apparently, all three CBS soaps do very well on Paramount+ and all three are always trending shows to watch on the APP. This week, I'm going to take the total viewers increase as a win and be happy BTG is still doing better than The Talk overall.

BTG 😭😭😭 I hate that 18-49 demo so much. But I guess I should be happy with the total viewers rising this week.

I very much enjoyed today's episode. Many have said it was heartbreaking, which it was, with Anita's breast cancer diagnosis but it was also heartwarming. I loved the heartfelt moments at the Richardson-Smith brownstone with June, Tyrell, Samantha and Regina. But I do love me some Smitty. As for Naomi and Jacob, she is definitely an entitled spoiled b***h like Kat and I feel sorry for Jacob. And where was Kial??? Are they really trying to make Nicole & Carlton a thing??? 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

So, I finally caught up. I enjoyed most of what I saw. Yes, things were happening but I get why some people may have been bored or felt like things are in a holding pattern. What the heck is Nicole doing??? I am so confused about her 180 with Carlton and what about Kial??? I don't know what to think about Vanessa at this point. I was hoping this story with Joey would have been more nuanced but she's coming off like a lovesick pathetic puppy. And is Bill really this blind to Hayley? I am confused about this story too. But I'm willing to be patient.

But none of those other shows had streaming and social media to paint a picture. Yes, do I want BTG to be higher in the ratings, absolutely. I just think there is more to it than just the linear numbers we have access to.

Why would CBS include a repeat in BTG's average??? That makes absolutely no sense to me.

Josh Griffith needs to go. What is Y&R even about anymore? It's completely lost its identity. I can 100% admit I watch out of habit at this point.

B&B loves recycling stories. Getting Ridge & Brooke remarried yet again, Bill & Katie reuniting and Liam & Hope's upcoming nuptials are all been there done that. Even the Eric forced retirement is lazy writing IMO. Are we ever going to see Remy again? Will Deke forgive him or is he going to move on with someone new? I think B&B needs to focus on the next generation of Will, Electra, Deke and possibly Remy.

I thought Winterfest was fun but I do wish it had lasted a little longer. I thought Greg Vaughan's introduction was seamless and very well done. He's already a great addition. I love that Bill is obviously having buyers remorse with Hayley. He wants his life back with the Dupree's. I really didn't expect to love Andre & Dani as much as I do. Part of me wants Bill & Dani back together, too. I wish Martin & Smitty had been there. But overall, I enjoyed what I saw.

With all due respect, I have to kindly disagree with you. BTG, is far from mediocre. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but what it offers is different than the other four soaps, being the most diverse, in front of and behind the scenes. That, IMO, makes it far superior than being referred to as mediocre. We're about to go into the shows 10th month on the air. We're still just scratching the surface of what this show can and will be. Give the show the time to breathe and to make it's mark. I trust MVJ and team implicitly.

I love Greg Vaughan and I am thrilled he's joining the show. I'm definitely looking forward to what he'll bring to the show. Great interview, Errol. I'm even more excited now 😊😊😊

I agree with you but if you look at how B&B and Y&R performed week over week and how they performed last year, the demo ratings for BTG are not terrible compared to the others dropping pretty steeply.
