  1. I just finished watching last week's episodes. Thursday & Friday's episodes were incredibly sad and so well done. Every other episode of DAYS in 2024 pales in comparison. Susan Seaforth Hayes is just the epitome of strength and grace. Watching these episodes today are especially bittersweet with the news of Wayne Northrop's passing. We truly lost 3 great DAYS legends this year 😪😪😪
  2. Oh no!! I am so very sorry to hear this news. RIP 😪
  3. MVJ is truly awesome. Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate 😊😊😊
  4. I really cannot believe he's still trying to get his job back at GH. At this point, for me, I couldn't watch anything he's in again. Too much damage has been done IMO. I am all for freedom of speech but I will never condone hate speech or discrimination of any kind, ever.
  5. I was never a regular viewer of the show, having only seen a handful of episodes. I can't help but see the irony of it being replaced by a soap. CBS' experiment failed and now it's time to go back to what made CBS daytime so successful to begin with.
  6. What happened to KM was really crappy. We may never know the real story but she's always been known to be a class act. She will totally land on her feet and come out even better. I truly believe that.
  7. Wow!!! Go B&B. As infuriating as the show can be, I'm happy for them. The past couple of weeks have been decent.
  8. I wonder when the promotional blitz will start for BTG? I'm looking forward to the first promo.
  9. It's obvious, GH has been going through a major transition in front of and behind the scenes this past year. I have to give FV credit for making GH the best looking soap, from the sets, costumes, etc. but EK and CVE are not the writers to be in charge with such a huge overhaul/transition taking place. Ultimately, I think ABC still supports the show but the budget has definitely been cut. Their daytime line-up is a mess and if BTG becomes a huge hit, I think ABC will jump on board with maybe rebooting one of our beloved soaps. But back to GH, Rick Hearst and Maura West are gold together. They definitely need to lean into that. MB seems more checked out than usual, CM is playing Drew the way the character is being written. This is so not BM's Drew. Drew is becoming a true messy Quartermaine. Sam's death is not sitting well with me at all but it has hit the canvas pretty hard. All this to say, GH still has so much potential to be a great show. With the obvious budget cuts and actor guarantees being adjusted, I blame EK and CVE for the disjointed clumsy writing for Laura, Lucky etc.
  10. I don't think I've despised the character of Steffy more than I have the past few weeks; she's insufferable and the biggest hypocrite ever. It is so convenient how she's forgotten how she and Liam kissed not once, but twice and she never told Finn. I hope this all blows up on here face and Brooke sleeps with Finn 😈
  11. Today's episode definitely affected me more than I thought it would. The younger actors playing Rocco and Danny had me crying my eyes out. I'm definitely not happy the way Kelly Monaco was dismissed from the show but this was a really moving tribute to the character of Sam.
  12. I am really looking forward to discovering who each character is. There is so much anticipation for BTG. It's like we've all been in a desert and now we're finally getting water. I can tell this show is going to be a fun ride.
  13. OMG, thank you for this. He looks very different, but it's great seeing him.
  14. MVJ is the showrunner and it's her show. Regardless, of our opinions about other writers, ultimately this is her vision. All of the writers are experienced and talented in their own rights. I choose to believe this is going to be a great collaboration.
  15. Here in San Diego, B&B airs at 12:30pm and Y&R and GH air at 1pm. If our local affiliate keeps things the same we'll get BTG at 2pm.
  16. I've had the pleasure of being able to watch Loving, Santa Barbara, Bold & Beautiful, Generations, Sunset Beach, Port Charles and Passions premieres. It is beyond surreal that I/we're getting to do it again with BTG.
  17. FINALLY!!! I couldn't be more thrilled. The set looks great so far as does that beautiful cast ❤️❤️❤️
  18. BTG is officially on Facebook and Instagram 🥳🥳🥳
  19. I have such high expectations for BTG and I don't think I'm going to be disappointed. I trust MVJ. I have followed her career since Generations and I believe in the team assembled to bring us the best show possible. I, too, would love the opening scene to be with "Martin & Smitty". Both actors are extremely handsome and charismatic. Hopefully, we will get the premiere date soon, with some promo teasers.
  20. There is already so much negativity and despair to go around. Why can't we all just enjoy and celebrate that we have a new daytime soap after 25 years??? I am not going to let anyone steal my joy as I eagerly await the glorious beginning of Beyond The Gates.
  21. So, if earlier reports were true, BTG starts taping in two weeks. Hopefully, we'll get a media blitz of announcements.
  22. I hope he has been cast on BTG 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
  23. I don't know how I missed it that Ed Scott hasn't been in the closing credits for awhile now 😳😳😳
