So, what I did hear clearly is, there are 20 contract players and 20 recurring players, as per Julie Hanan Carruthers. That implies to me JL and CM are going to be heavily recurring.

I'll be at work tomorrow, so I won't be able to watch live. But, I did take Monday off for the premiere.

I tried watching the special live on Paramount+ at 2pm on our local affiliate and it kept glitching,so it never came on. At 2:30pm B&B unfortunately aired. I was finally able to watch it on Paramount+ and it was more than I could have ever imagined. I am already so proud of this show.

I've been sick all week with the flu (Totally Sucks btw) and I have been anxiously awaiting the news Errol mentioned earlier in the week. Being home all week has been beyond boring and awful but when I've been up to it, I've been all over this thread looking for any morsel of additional news about BTG. I'm really looking forward to Monday too. Maybe we'll get the news over the weekend??? 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I will defend Carter & Ridge's friendship. Carter has only had the Forrester's as his family for years. I think he's officiated over all of their weddings over the years, multiple times. He's also at almost every Forrester family holiday, so I will indulge them with the "brotherly bond" they have. My main issue with this story is Ridge & Brooke. He's the most arrogant pompous character ever. And having Brooke be this pathetic is difficult to watch. Also, I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but the sets lighting is atrocious, especially Finn and Li's offices. All of those ridiculous shadows, it looks so awful IMO. With all that being said, I can't stop watching. I guess that makes me as pathetic as Brooke 😳😳😳

I do recall, when I lived in NY, Guiding Light aired at 10am. The last few years of GL aired at that time on WCBS. PIR was at 11am, News at Noon, Y&R at 12:30pm, B&B at 1:30pm and ATWT at 2pm.

B&B is literally a hot mess. The only interesting story is the reveal Finn is Luna's father. What they have done to Brooke is criminal. She is literally groveling to Ridge. And all the garbage Steffy was spewing about Ridge & Taylor's love was nauseating. IMO, B&B and Y&R need to be firing on all cylinders to best promote themselves to get back lapsed viewers and to help launch BTG to the lineup.

Here in San Diego GH and Y&R go head to head at 1pm. B&B is on at 12:30pm and BTG will air at 2pm. Currently, I'm watching all four soaps but when BTG starts I don't think I'll be able to watch all five. The decision now is which one(s) to drop.

All of this news today is just awesome. I love the approach CBS is taking promoting the show. Someone mentioned earlier, it truly does feel like we're getting BTG a week ahead of schedule. I just cannot wait!
