Here in San Diego, B&B airs at 12:30pm and Y&R and GH air at 1pm. If our local affiliate keeps things the same we'll get BTG at 2pm.

I've had the pleasure of being able to watch Loving, Santa Barbara, Bold & Beautiful, Generations, Sunset Beach, Port Charles and Passions premieres. It is beyond surreal that I/we're getting to do it again with BTG.

FINALLY!!! I couldn't be more thrilled. The set looks great so far as does that beautiful cast ❤️❤️❤️

I have such high expectations for BTG and I don't think I'm going to be disappointed. I trust MVJ. I have followed her career since Generations and I believe in the team assembled to bring us the best show possible. I, too, would love the opening scene to be with "Martin & Smitty". Both actors are extremely handsome and charismatic. Hopefully, we will get the premiere date soon, with some promo teasers.

There is already so much negativity and despair to go around. Why can't we all just enjoy and celebrate that we have a new daytime soap after 25 years??? I am not going to let anyone steal my joy as I eagerly await the glorious beginning of Beyond The Gates.

So, if earlier reports were true, BTG starts taping in two weeks. Hopefully, we'll get a media blitz of announcements.

NGL, I was weirdly disappointed Chandler Massey was returning to DAYS because I so desperately want him on BTG. I know it is still totally possible he can do both but I want more casting news about the men.

The problem with Y&R, it has an abundance of potential that is squandered at every turn. JG should not be the sole showrunner. He definitely has his moments where the show is watchable but for the most part it's boring. What is the long-term story??? Why does every story feel like an "arc" or a wait and see approach to see what sticks??? CBS Daytime needs to have Y&R and B&B in much better shape to launch Behind The Gates successfully. I think it can be done but both shows need behind the scenes changes ASAP

OMG, I need more casting news and behind the scenes announcements ASAP. They start shooting in 5 weeks so I know there is definitely more news out there. I super excited though.

My excitement for BTG is crazy, but I was devastated ABC canceled Port Charles. With that being said, I have super high hopes for BTG and I have so much faith in MVJ. I think this show is really going to reengergize the genre.

Now you have my curiosity piqued. Is there going to be a name change??? 😳😳😳

I am currently watching all four soaps and it is shocking to me how inconsistent they all are. Okay, DAYS still has the scab writer scripts airing, but still. GH is in transition, which I totally get, but I am willing to be a tad bit more patient with them while the writers get their footing. B&B, my day one soap, is absolutely awful. Y&R, shockingly, is the best of the four and that's not saying a lot. I hope the shows get their acts together or I hope The Gates comes in like gangbusters and kicks everything into high gear.

I was a big fan of Vol. 1 and I am thoroughly enjoying the latest release. B&B has great music but the current stories leave a lot to be desired. I have been watching since day one and this is the longest stretch in memory the show has been this bad.

I miss AMC and I can't wait for it to return in January!

I actually own both B&B books. They are both awesome collectors items.

I am super excited B&B did this too. I love it a lot and I too was hoping for a few other songs to be included. Maybe they will have a follow up compilation soon.

I really miss Port Charles. I wish ABC hadn't canceled it.

I think Marty Davich is still around. I absolutely love the music on AMC. I have to agree with you Kubla Khan the music last week was point on in so many of the scenes.

I knew I loved you guys at this board. I thought I was the only freak that loved the background music on the soaps and other TV shows. When I started watching AMC back in November that was one of the things that made me fall in love with the show. It reminded me of the score from Angels in America in a strange sort of way. You guys rock.
