Yeesh.. It's a bit quiet in here today. Where'd everyone go? Ha! Wouldn't it be great if: Gasp! Did Lainey just use the dreaded spoiler function?!?!?! Gasp! What's happening to this world!??!!?

I am back, too! Worked so darn hard, and I'm so darn exhausted.. that I took two days off! Ha! So I have plenty of time to clean and rest and organize and write... yeah.. write. Ms. Q, I am downloading "Kiss the Girl" right now. I believe you did at least one more while I was away. I'll get that one, later. I came home last night, plopped on the couch, and tore through Thursday to Wednesday's episodes... I gotta tell ya: -It's GREAT to see Tracy with material. I love that she's a main character right now, BUT (you knew this was coming) I don't like the Alan/Tracy ghost storyline. It's silly... too silly. I mean, yeah, it's soap, but there is a line between soapy and silly, and this is silly. Also, I like "funny Tracy," but I like "sexy, sultry, alluring Tracy" better.. and that's what I really want now. Hear me, Guza? It's what I want!! :) Ta ta, More Later, LB

Oh Boy.. Lainey has issues. Not only was I too busy to watch at work today..... but my TIVO is definitely on the fritz. It didn't record ABC at 3p AND!! I worked so freakin' hard and long today, that I missed the 10p soapnet version. Shoot! So I don't have a copy of it, and I didn't see it. How pissed am I ?!?!?! So I'm trying to fix tivo now, but I have no clue what is wrong with it. Keep in mind I have to leave for the airport at 7a, and I STILL HAVE TO pack.. and if I don't fix it in the next little bit that means no Thurs, Fri, Mon, Tue. WAHHHHHHHHHHHH. Clips people.. start backing up clips for me, just in case (Keep in mind that I have dial up so ... wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm upset). However, if I do fix it, I can get Soapnet version at 4am this morning. Hey.. I won't be posting next few days.. but I'll be lurking. Will someone (Ms. Q?) just give me any and all LuNacy highlights here. For instance. Thursday Scene 1: hot monkey sex; Thursday scene 2: Very hot monkey sex.... You get the idea grrrr..... A few thoughts: Things are REALLY looking up for our girl. The PROOF? -There was the 16 epi count in Feb (it only had 28 days & something like 20 weekdays. The woman was on nearly EVERYDAY!) -They are using her independent of Luke (with Sam, with Alan, with Dillon & Lulu) -They are giving her meaty, meaty material on days when it doesn't make 100% sense... like today. It really should have been LC's day. She's been on the show for 30+ CONTINUOUS years. JE has just popped in for several years at a time over the last three decades. LC was Alan's WIFE, and yet it was DEFINITELY the Tracy show today. A few months ago we would have expected Tracy to get the Monica treatment. SHE DIDN'T!!!!! They are using her more and more like a MAIN character. This is a really really good thing. Even the pessimists among you can't deny this is true. Guza seems to have become convinced of what we all know is the truth -- that Tracy is enough of an interesting character to appeal to ALL ages, even the under 30 set! There is a downside to all this. Tracy's Guza is a lot more shrill, and a lot more angry and a lot more evil than "my" Tracy. I think JE would agree more with my interpretation than Guza's... but I'm not writing the lines! If someone gives you shrill and angry and evil, there is really only so much you can do. I did LOVE the way SHE pulled Luke into her today, and then put her cheek to his, and inhaled. As if his mere closeness gives her the sustenance needed to get through the day.... LOVED IT! Thing is.. that is all JE, not Guza. I am NOT in love with tomorrow's line: "It's time for you to earn your keep." I think if Tracy and Luke were going to team up together, it would be more of a "team" effort.. the "Tracy as manipulating B--ch" characterization is dated. They've made her fall in love, and that has softened her. You can't soften her, and still write her lines as if she's hard. It doesn't jive. It doesn't work. Hello Guza?!?! Can you hear me? If you're going to keep Tracy as a main character, I suggest you hire me!!! I'll write Tracy "Right," and I'll make you real proud! geezzzzzzzzzzzzz

Neato! I knew there was a reason I was feeling "up" and "positive" in Feb. That explains it!!! Now.. what I want to know about the previews is this: what the #$(*@&# is Luke doing sitting BEHIND Tracy at the funeral??!?!?!?!?! Why isn't he RIGHT NEXT TO HER, HOLDING HER HAND AND STROKING HER ARM??? Hello! Hello! Step up to the plate, dude. Enough of this Laura crud. ENOUGH already! Oh for all of us angsting about a Laura return there is this silver lining: They've already done the 'Tracy doesn't exist storyline' for Laura's return. They CAN'T do it again, which means they will HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER. She may get her heart trampled on, my friends... but they will NOT write her into a closet. THEY WILL NOT!

Spoiler/Spumor Speculation below . . . . . . There is no MORE to it. TIIC wants you to think she's protecting Scotty because he's the "real" father of her child. But even if Scotty were Dillon's Daddy, this is ALL about Tracy trying to keep Luke from spiraling away from her into a deep, dark place. She's just beginning to open her life to him, she doesn't wants to loose him. This is all about love folks. All about love (It's the beginning of the 'redemption of tracy' storyline, complete with ghosts and temptations like wills that can be easily changed). Hmmm... It's all your fault, Deb. You and Regency. If you guys weren't so good, I wouldn't be so intimidated. I hate feeling inadequate. Sorry. P.S..... You are WRONG! I am POSITIVE! If you're talking about the "mattress-pounding, sheet-soaking" comment, I believe that is YOURS! Okay.. most of you know I have a one-track mind when it comes to LuNacy (to me, it's all about the hot monkey sex! ). Anyway, I never believed the May spoilers for LuNacy sex because I thought it was too late in the timeline. They were so clearly bonding, and getting along now. I couldn't understand how it could possibly wait until MAY! (I'm still hopeful it will come sooner, but a second anniversary 'celebration' seems more and more right to me). Anyway, if Kin really is only back for six weeks -- the next several weeks will be all about finding Laura's killer. After that, Luke goes into his dark place (and likely takes off for one of his six-week mega-vacations), and Tracy has lots of opportunities to talk with Alan's 'ghost' and spiral into her own little piece of hell (wouldn't that be some AMAZING acting! I'm salivating just thinking about it!). When Luke comes back, he's ready to give Tracy what she needs and deserves --- the number one place in his heart! She has gone through some sort of spiritual cleansing as well (Seeing a ghost in a tracksuit while you're mourning for your brother AND your husband will either kill you or make you stronger. You know it's going to make our girl STRONGER!). Luke will come back, and it will be an over-the-top reunion. They will get together in some emotionally gut-wrenching scene (it's going to be played as the 'redemption of Tracy' - watch. You heard it here first). And guess what -- we're in May sweeps at this point.. and guess what I think that means!?!?!?!!? A couple hours after the 'big' moment (i.e. the heated 'I love yous' and the mattress pounding, sheet soaking monkey sex), LAURA COMES BACK! THE TRUTH SETS HER FREE, TOO. Yep my friends, I believe that is what we're in for. I for one can't wait to see it unfold. You heard it here first! LB

Uh.. Folks.. Hello... Something really important happened today!! I can't believe nobody has mentioned it!!! I believe we learned the real reason Tracy is trying to prevent LuLu from finding Rick Webber's killer!!! :blink: She told it to Carly. Luke was the one who told Laura she killed Rick. If it turns out that he was wrong, and he is responsible for his beloved going off the deep end.. Well.. uh.. Tracy is right... he'll got nutso! And she'll loose him. And she loves him, folks. She doesn't want to loose him. When Carly asked, 'why do you care?' and she said 'he's my husband,' she was telling the truth!! And did you see how she said it? That was priceless -- it was said plainly and honestly. She has grown to accept him, warts and all. She loves him. (Come on folk, why the hell else would she go to Carly's house?!?!?! THERE IS NO OTHER REASON). Tracy wants to stop the search for Rick's killer, because if the murderer is anyone other than Laura, the fact will DESTROY Luke. And she likes Luke just the way he is, thank you very much! ta ta, Lainey!

Ask and ye shall receive. I liked today folks. Yep I did! I liked her hair. I liked the red jacket (it was a defiant move my friends, so very Tracy!). I liked the interaction with Luke (not ideal, but it had it's tender underpinnings. They were still 'understanding' one another. They weren't really fighting). I liked the Tracy/Monica bit at the end. I loved the Nedly hug. I loved the Carly bit.. But most of all.. the epi today was about Tracy taking center stage and baring her fangs to the world. What else can a Tracy fan ask for? (Yeah.. Hot LuNacy Monkey Sex.. Sure.. But we all knew that wasn't going to happen today!). I have no idea what or who Tracy is protecting. However, we have all read the spoilers here about WHO killed Rick Webber. And if that person really did it. Well, Tracy isn't protecting that person. No ifs ands hows or maybes. There is something else going on. Deep breath all. LuNacy love is here... LuNacy sex is coming. In the meantime, we get Full Throttle Tracy followed by the very very beginnings of the DREAM SCHEME TEAM (once fans see it in action next week, they'll want more more more). After that we get Tracy talking with a ghost in a tracksuit. (Notice a trend here folks? There's A LOT of Tracy WITHOUT LUKE! I thought you folks wanted her to do something other than prop Luke. It seems to be happening!!) Oh.. and here's the best part: I'm out of town March 8-13... Which means, much more Tracy goodness is coming. Mark it on your calanders. All is good in La La land, peeps. Oh Man! Did all the 'good' writers go on vaco following the hostage crisis!?? I'm serious. Have they had interns or something banging out this cr-p the last few days!?! WTF?? Let me point out some of the most egregious things: -Alan died off screen. That's just freakin' disrespectful. I don't care if he is coming back as a "ghost." The majority of viewers don't know that yet. It's just RUDE. -He died "silently" without any doctors around - just Emily. THAT NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED!! The machines would have started blinking and dinging, and the world would have come running. He couldn't have simply drifted off like that with just Emily in the room. IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED THAT WAY. THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN SOME EFFORT TO SAVE HIM, ESPECIALLY GIVEN THAT HALF THE FAMILY WAS STILL IN DENIAL ABOUT HIS REAL CONDITION!! --Luke was in the hospital while his wife is going through hell.. and what does he do.. go see ELIZABETH!! OF COURSE!?!?! (WTF?!?) He should have been there for her folks, with his arms wrapped around her. What the hell?!?! --Not only that, Luke knew Alan wasn't doing well BEFORE Tracy knew it. They seemed to show the sequence out of order. Elizabeth asked about Alan, and Luke said 'not well,' but Tracy hadn't even been told that yet. Last she heard, he was talking and doing better. --Don't even get me started on Monica and Tracy's LAME-O dialogue about how Monica has to believe. It was just written so poorly.. the whole quartermaine part of the show was written poorly today -- like interns did it... or nobody's heart wasn't into it! Maybe that was why TG wasn't in it. He looked at the q-scenes and said "I don't want to be a part of this sh-t." So they shoved him into Elizabeth's room, down the hall. Geez!!! --A lot of the cr-p since the hotage crisis has been filler. Luke and Tracy walked the halls with coffee TWICE. Once on Wednesday and again on Thursday. The three stooges was a 2-day gag, when it sould have been a 1-day gag... and on and on. It's like NOBODY IS PAYING ATTENTION TO ANYTHING. HELLO? HELLO? What's going on out there? ... AND NOW.. I LOG ON HERE AND I READ THIS SH-T ABOUT A GHOST IN A SWEATSUIT!!! WTF?!?!?! I have to admit I have VERY mixed emotions about that. At first blush, I'm appalled (It's just a stupid storyline, clearly the result of fan pressure. Why couldn't they simply have him recover from the heart attack??). But then, I LOVE the idea of Tracy being stalked by her dead brother. But then again, if they're putting him in the den, she's not going to want to go in there, and that is where most of the Qs do their lines. AND, in order to keep the shtick going, she has to continue to be evil in order for him to be her conscience. Once she starts to do "right," there is no reason for him to be there. And she will begin to do "right," eventually. I mean that would be the whole point of the SL.. you can't keep it going forever! UGH! It's a mess. The whole thing is a mess. GUZA.. LISTEN UP.. This is good my friends. Very very good. (So ignore the other cr-p!) It TOTALLY jives what we have been seeing on screen. And oh, you guys, I didn't catch Thursday's "sweetheart" reference until today, when I was watching my TIVO, trying to decide what to erase. Her eyes went WIDE when he said it. Very Wide. She is so taken by all of this tenderness he is showing. They are just so sweet to watch now. There is no 'tension' there. They have become a supporting, loving couple. It's just a joy to see. And the rumor about Luke becoming Tracy's conscience... doesn't surprise me at all. It actually "sounds" right. I have been trying to write the little ficlet called "You are Tracy," and I had to rip it apart, because it had them sniping at each other in it.. and that doesn't sound right anymore. They're beyond the sniping stage - for now anyway. Oh - Minerva - I caved and downloaded the Paul stuff. Yucky. Yeah, she's great in it.. but I hate him. Really hate him. I think it's because he wounded her, and she is so hard to wound. It's like she FINALLY opened herself up, and he stabs her in the heart. Yucky Yucky Yucky. Long live Luke and Tracy. Not too long at ALL!!! It always takes about 40 mins to an hour to download a good clip or vid! It's standard for me. It's not your fault I have been too busy to make the time to switch from Dialup to DSL. I guess it's low on my priority list. I'll get to it... eventually. Don't change a thing! (funny.. ummmm..... (Lainey enters.. looks at floor. Kicks it. Clears throat and slowly, softly, humbly approaches mic). uh hello.... I'm wondering.. if anyone noticed...... THAT LUKE HAS HIS COAT ON IN THE Q MANSION!!! -- like he just came in, like he doesn't live there!!!! FURTHERMORE!!!!!! There are THREE PICS OF LULU AND LUKE AT "LUKE AND LAURA'S OLD HOUSE" ON CHARLES STREET!!!!!!!!!! HELLO! HELLO! WTF IS GOING ON HERE!?!!?! Now, maybe.. maybe.. Lesley is taking care of Lulu while her leg is busted.. but I don't think so. TIIC is too cheap to bring back Denise Alexander for that. My guess is Luke and Lulu have moved back in. The question is: WHY!?!?! I'm confused, especially since Luke and Tracy have been getting along so well lately. My gut tells me that after Alan dies Luke tells Tracy that he can't live in separate rooms anymore, and yet it doesn't seem right to take their relationship to the next level right now.. so he moves out for awhile. That seems sorta right. But there is also the chance that Tracy goes apesh_t on Lulu after Alan dies, and she and Luke move out because of that. There is also the possibility that Lulu freaks after Alan dies, and they move out because she doesn't feel right being there. There is also the chance that just Lulu moved out cause she freaks when Alan dies, and that Luke has his coat on because he tried to talk her into going into the funeral. And he's just returning from that visit (whew.. this might be it. Might be!) Thoughts anyone? Anyone? EDITED: oh! My hysteria caused me to forget something VERY important. I LOVED Tracy today.. LOVED HER because she was "soft" and "real." I LOVE when she's not "evil Tracy." I LOVE this Tracy. LOVE HER!
