I agree with Toups. It is silly to blame Liam week after week. Steffy and that god awful actor who plays Finn are on week after week. They annoy me to no end. I'll watch Scott Clifton and Liam anyday over Steffy, Finn and the over used and should be gone forever Sheila.

Further down the line in 1984, at the end of Jean Arley's disastrous run at OLTL, the show had dropped to #8 and even Capitol was beating OLTL! ABC couldn't get Paul Rauch in there fast enough!

Joanna Lee was killing it as SFT's EP during that period. Jean Arley was the Producer of OLTL at this time and the show sucked during her reign. She was not a right fit for OLTL.

I am of the opinion that Beverlee McKinsey would NOT want to get a posthumous Emmy Award. So, NO, I will not sign the petition.

I respect that Agnes was 93. I'll give her a pass that her memory may not have been great. But I don't give a pass to her editors who should have fact checked her book. The problem is that people will quote passages from her book and believe them because it was in her book. Agnes said so in her book so it's a fact. It happens all the time here that books and page numbers get quoted as facts, when they are not true. To stay on topic about GL, Christopher Schemering's 50th Anniversary book about GL had several wrong statements. Just because it's in a book doesn't mean it's true.

So Richard VanVleet (the worst Ed Bauer ever) thinks he was nominated for Emmys in his Locher Room interview. Fact check. Richard VanVleet was never nominated for an Emmy. But he thinks he was. It must be true because he said it.

Just because someone writes a book and it gets published, it doesn't mean that everything in the book is true. Some people need to learn that. There are many soap opera books out there with incorrect information. Agnes Nixon's bio had many errors. Christopher Schemering's book had many errors, including the misconception that GL was #1 in the ratings in 1984. That will finally and once and for all proven untrue soon.

What is the point of Days since it moved to Peacock? Boring storylines. 47 minutes today? Why? The Talia crap and those eyebrows! So annoying and distracting. And just NO to Talia and Chanel. Ugh. Ava and Harris were on about 20 minutes too long. What has happened to this show? There is literally nothing going on worth tuning into the next episode for.

I'm glad Albert Alarr is GONE. Good riddance! He should have been fired long ago. But unlike others thrilled about Janet Spellman-Drucker, I'd love to know if she ever spoke out over the years since she was on the front lines during Alarr's reign. With all of the toxicity onset, Janet was there and saw it first hand. Did she ever speak up to anyone? Promoting the next in line because she's been there for decades yet she was there to witness all of the crap seems corporate standard to me. I completely understand why some wanted Sonia Blangiardo since she is a director and not onset everyday. Did Janet ever stand up to Albert and tell him that what he was doing is unacceptable? If she didn't and was afraid that she'd fired if she spoke up, I don't have much confidence in her ability to lead this show. I'd love to know her point of view about what happened all these years while she was there.

I'm sure that she was on Guiding Light during the Roxie Shayne in Alaska story in early 1985. Met her outside the studio. She wasn't nice. lol IMDB doesn't mention her time on GL.

Kudos to Alan Locher for having to pivot constantly because of Helen's one or two word answers. In hindsight, a 97 year old should not be interviewed live. It's a great idea to interview a living legend, just not live. I'm sure with prodding and editing she could have remembered more and it would have been a great interview. Malcolm rescued that episode by talking alot.

WHY is this man still employed? Come on, Ken Corday, step up and fire this toxic man. On top of it all, Alarr has all this power and current Days is the product that he puts out??? I credit the actress who said F you to him. I hope that someone said to him that you're concerned about my hair but yet you put this crap product out as a show? There are bigger issues here than someone's haircut.
