Kelly looks so good in today’s episode (taped mid-March). I’ve always maintained Kelly looks fab in blue, and when they keep her hair straight like this. When they curl her hair, I feel it doesn’t suit her beautiful face.

Thanks @rsclassicfanforever and the other angels for all that you’ve done. Does anyone have a better quality copy of episode 4604 (July 2005) — the Brooke and Stephanie slap-fest following the fake heart attack? There’s a VHS recording in the vault, but I seem to remember a better-quality version existing, from a DVD release. Unfortunately, the YouTube channel conveniently skipped over this episode. Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much @rsclassicfanforever. I think this also coincided with a change in where the first ad break was placed too. Historically the first break was immediately after the opening credits, however it moved to around the 6 minute mark when the bonus scene was introduced.

As we know, episodes got shorter in the US over the years from 22 minutes in 1987, to just under 20 minutes for the 2004/5 season, and just 19 minutes today. Can anyone pinpoint when exactly they started adding the two minute bonus scene to episodes for the international market so that the 21-22 minute runtime was maintained? The bonus scene, which Bradley describes as ‘prologue c’ here, is placed 6-7 minutes into each episode (before the first ad break) on international episodes. Given episodes were gradually shortened in the US, it’s hard to know when they started adding the bonus for the rest of the world. It’s a shame they’re not uploading the longer edit to YouTube - some of you guys in the US would never have seen the additional footage.

The ShoutTV stream looks to be full HD and far superior to season 1 episodes on YouTube which are 480p. I remember quite a number of those early YouTube episodes have a weird anamorphic zoom (episode 28 is just one example), the zoom was slight but noticeable to an eagle eye. If Shout is anything like the other FAST channels, they’ll loop the same batch for months and months. But hopefully they’ll progress quicker given the number of episodes available.

This seems quite harsh. Their last response in comments was 4pm LA time, so yes they stopped responding. Their employees have a personal life too and should not need to work into the evening just to reply to YouTube comments. B&B already addressed in comments that they weren’t aware of the missing episodes and that they will address it. Several users in this forum have kindly provided B&B a comprehensive list in YouTube comments. Let’s just be patient and wait.

The newer YouTube posting is the uncut version. The earlier post is the edited version that aired on CBS during the 2020 pandemic. CBS do not allow runtime longer than 19 minutes these days so BBL cut it down accordingly for those pandemic replays.

Respectfully, I disagree with several points. First, Dutch folk are very fluent in English. Bold airs there with the original English soundtrack and has done so since day one, it is not dubbed. Second, Videoland premieres current episodes and classic episodes before they air on RTL linear. Third, like every other broadcaster, RTL is a business. Knowing the product you’ve been paying for is available for free elsewhere (and in HD); why would said business continue to pay tens of thousands of dollars - this does not make commercial financial sense, especially for an aged product that has a narrow demographic. I have said this before and I guarantee you, classic episodes will cease on RTL at some point given the YouTube release. Casey Kasprzyk advised (last year), episodes will be released to YouTube in full HD (those seasons in SD, will be re-released in HD).

I hear you, but that’s a perfect ideal world, which does not exist. The person responsible for uploading should have QA’d, but perhaps they simply didn’t check? Others seem to think missing episodes are deliberately skipped, but perhaps this is not the case. Can’t it just be a tech error, or human error? What makes you think this? There is a person behind the mailbox. Have you emailed before and got no reply? Share your experience.

Personally, I don’t feel episodes are deliberately being skipped on YouTube. I take a more positive spin in that there are other underlaying factors, mostly relating to YouTube. Entire seasons are added to YouTube in one mass upload (drag and drop). From personal experience with YouTube, you often get error messages with mass file uploads. Given full seasons of Bold contain approximately 250 episodes - that’s 250 line items so it would be easy to miss any potential errors unless you scroll each one and perform a QA check. Another factor maybe that the episode did upload successfully, however YouTube flagged it for copyright (e.g. music). This would require the uploader to look through all 250 uploads and clear copyright material - but once again, the uploader may have overlooked given the volume of episodes uploaded at the same time. Another potential factor is that the missing episodes did upload successfully but didn’t premiere. I did flag this many months ago, but if you look at season 13 playlist there are a few episodes marked “private”, this would indicate the episodes are there, they just didn’t go live. One of these episodes would of course be Macy’s funeral episode. For 3667-3670 that is upcoming, I dare say it’s a combination of what I have said above. Episode 3666 was flagged for copyright on YouTube and had its original music track replaced. The scene with Brooke and Deacon kissing on the bed at the end of the episode is not the original music track: I agree due diligence should be a priority, but try enforcing that on an intern (who may have been given the task to upload episodes). I think we should be thankful we have gotten the episodes we have received to date. Yes, I know it’s annoying some episodes are missing, but let’s hope those are rectified in due course. There are alternate ways to contact the show to highlight any YouTube error: [email protected] In terms of missing seasons on YouTube (e.g. season 9 and others), those cannot be uploaded until the broadcast/streaming rights expire for RTL/Videoland.

You’re quick to point fingers of blame and deem it a conspiracy lol. Please learn how distribution rights work, there is a valid reason why YouTube does not yet have seasons 9 and others.
