When Brooke was married to Bill, KKL was credited as Brooke Logan Forrester on the closing for the entire duration of their marriage. Do they think us fans don’t notice this stuff haha. Most people skip the credits, I actually watch them because I love the aerial footage, and of course the closing theme (however I don’t like the current closing theme). I think you’re right @BoldKara they must leave the closing credits as a job for the interns 😂

Will be dropping all 5 episodes of Inside Bold into the Vault early next week (into the ‘behind-the-scenes’ folder). Note: there are snippets of this documentary on the official YouTube page, however the uncut broadcast contains much more content. Each episode runs for 22 minutes and airs in Australia week of 20 December 2021.

You're right, looks like they’re only giving us those few Deacon/Brooke episodes. This coincides with “The story of” which drops tomorrow.

On current Videoland episodes, loving the Y&R footage flashing back to Sheila’s backstory. Her mother, Lauren, and Stephanie digging on Sheila’s past in Wisconsin. Great stuff!

100% agree. The same happened to me - it took me a while to figure out the episode had no score. Personally I found the episode less impactful, and the more touching scenes less emotional. It tell us that music is somewhat essential for storytelling, particularly for a soap opera genre. Some soap operas around the world don’t use score music at all - I can’t imagine not having music.

Content can be distributed with or without a score track too. RTL would have no rational justification to mute the score track unless they did so in error - 5 times. I’m inclined to think the distributor sent out the wrong version.

There’s actually a handful of episodes without score music. I have come across 4 or 5. I should have noted the episode numbers. I doubt very much RTL/Videoland removed the backing tracks. I suspect there was a mixup with the version the Distributor supplied RTL. From a technical perspective, there are multiple tracks (voice and music) on content. Broadcasters can opt to receive content with or without tracks for the purposes of dialogue replacement/voiceover into local languages.

I thought the same thing. Even more oddly, that particular broadcaster changes the closing distribution slide at the end of each episode to an older version that was discontinued in 2019. Given the episodes are recent, they would be receiving episodes with the current BBL ending:

10play is always uncut. With 1384, VL removed the sponsor tag immediately after the opening credits (at the 6min 20 sec mark). As a side note, VL trim down the ad break fade outs, usually a loss of about 2 seconds at the point of each break. The ‘CBS StereoSound’ caption is also removed from the beginning of each episode. Occasionally you can hear the tail-end of the sting at the beginning of some episodes. None of this is a big deal of course, just my observations ☺️

That was me. Unfortunately I made a typo with the filename date - it should read 1992, not 1999. If anyone has edit rights, can they amend the year or rename the file to read “Episode 1384”. Thanks in advance.

In the Vault, the majority of episodes 250 to 750 came from the YouTube user named “Amy”. Alot of her episodes have the original music muted because of YouTube’s copyright claims. Videoland still has episodes 501 onwards, however it’s only a matter of time before seasons 3, 4 and 5 are deleted due to expiring rights. If someone is able to rip VL eps 501-750ish in better quality with the original music that would be amazing. We’re missing some fab music from the fashion show episodes in the Vault.

It’s my understanding that Bell-Phillip TV are uploading episodes to YouTube, not CBS. I posted a few weeks ago about the YouTube episodes being in a weird zoomed/cropped format. I posted a photo of the video properties for reference.

Awesome! Thank you 🙏🏼 I don’t have ep 5619 unfortunately, I didn’t rip it from 10play last year when I grabbed the others. It appears 10play (within the last 6 months) have changed the security on their player interface as I can no longer rip. Perhaps @rsclassicfanforever can rip this 10play episode with the Audials One software? I use Mac and unfortunately this software isn’t available for Mac. 10play have indeed deleted episode 2393, they also did not broadcast this episode during the 2020 covid replays, not sure why. I wish I had grabbed it at the time.

Have dropped better versions of the following episodes into the Vault. These are direct rips, no screen recordings: 1992-09-29 Ep# 1384 [10play full edit - Sheila vs Lauren] (other offerings of this episode in the Vault are lesser in quality) 1997-10-29 Ep# 2661 [10play full edit - Lake Como Fashion Show] (Original music tracks, longer runtime than the 2020 CBS broadcast replay) 1999-08-03 Ep# 3103 [10play full edit - Brooke vs Stephanie] (uncut original edit. The 2020 CBS edit in the Vault has a shorter runtime, the other offering is bad quality) Can someone delete the lesser quality duplicates of these 3 episodes? If someone could please help grab the Brooke's Bedroom episode from 10play that would be very much appreciated. This edit has the original music tracks - including Dionne Warwick on the closing credits. The episode is due to expire/disappear from 10play in the next few months. I have tried to rip but it fails. Hoping someone has better luck. Videoland accidentally posted episode 1384 last week. It was available for 24 hours until they pulled it down.

The question originally asked by user ‘j swift’ was “How many times has Brooke Logan been assaulted”. Brooke was attacked in episode 1 by a group of men. Any attack quantifies as assault.

The quality isn't bad as BoldKara mentions, however they're defiantly not broadcast quality. I have also noticed episodes have a weird resolution, and I think they are slightly zoomed/cropped. I'm not sure whether the resolution is NTSC rather than PAL? When I watch on my 65" TV (via the Youtube app) the quality is somewhat substandard. However, I am super grateful they are releasing the episodes.

Welcome and thank you for the dropping the Cala episodes into the Vault. Try this with the .ts file: open in QuickTime player and then save as .mp4. This has always worked for me and there is no loss of quality. Can you tell us more about the Cala broadcast. When did they commence airing Bold? How many episodes per week? Are they currently screening 1995 episodes? Does Cala have a website where they stream the episodes after broadcast? Whatever episodes you capture and post to the Vault will always be very much appreciated by everyone. Full complete episodes (with closing credits) if possible 🙂 Thanks again.
