I agree with this.

LOL the people dressed in full suits and career wear -- that makes me wonder, aren't they itchy and sweaty in the hot sun? And yes it's a tiny set.

Ideally, I wanted Vernon to have the moral high ground in any situation, But still be fierce when need be. The first few months, they had Vernon be the support for Anita, Dani, and Martin, and the family historian; but I didn't see much of his point of view. I had wondered if they were going to make Clifton Davis the lead in billing, but Vernon a supporting character in function. But my perception changed in the past couple of episodes. He showed fire! This is the leading man. But it seems that Vernon doesn't have the moral high ground, which is disappointing (to me) for a leading man. But then again, this Martin storyline is so convoluted -- that when all is finally revealed, maybe I'll understand whatever Vernon did and why? I'll stay Team Vernon, unless he's proved to be a complete villain, in which case he'd lose my support.

USA did a 2022 repeat today Monday, but CTV-Canada didn't know about the preemption so CTV aired the new episode. So tomorrow Tuesday, USA gets the new episode -- Will CTV figure it out and air Monday again, or air the 2022 repeat, or will they be confused? Canada always makes the adjustment ASAP. But recently, something unusual happened: when the USA preemption happened May 8 for the election of the new Pope, Canada didn't adjust right away, and was one day ahead for a few days until someone made the correction.

But Paul said *John* encouraged getting married as soon as possible, but he told Marlena he'd wait, because it might seem insensitive after the funeral -- and Marlena said go ahead, John would have wanted you to -- so they're getting married now while everyone is in town. Pretty sure that's really what Paul is thinking. I don't know what Andrew would be thinking, but I assumed that he's just supporting his love. Regarding getting married in the park, well that's common for Salem in the summertime, due to unwillingness to use extra sets. The spoiler pics show a lot of thought went into the wardrobe of the wedding party. I really hope the wedding is happening now -- for love and family reasons. I don't want it to be tainted by an ISA plot.

So, it’s almost a little bit of a new relationship again, in a way.” “Even before Lily finds out Dumas is Cane, the main concern she has is that Dumas is coming after her company,” Khalil explains. “So, when she finds out it is Cane, I think that fear is still there . . .” What Lily is not looking for is to jump back into a relationship with him. “As of right now, no, absolutely not,” Khalil states. “She’s very disturbed by his behavior and how much he’s lied and kept secret and what he’s hidden from the kids and what he’s hidden from her, and the fact that she finds out he was working with his dad, Colin [Atkinson, Tristan Rogers], who is a very bad person. So right now, it’s very much like, ‘I want nothing to do with you. We’re never getting back together, especially after all of this. It’s never happening.’” As this new chapter unfolds, Khalil urges fans to keep an open mind about the new “Lane” dynamic. “At the end of the day, it’s not going to be the same Cane,” she says. “It’s a completely different person, and I really hope that everybody gives Billy a chance and tries to look at the character through new eyes, because it is a new person, and honestly, it’s a new character. I know this is the Y&R thread, but as noted elsewhere, Conner Floyd is now the recast Chad for DAYS, and recently started filming on DAYS and will debut on DAYS in April 2026. Info on "Conner Floyd to DAYS" on this thread: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/69065-days-yr-actor-joins-as-recast/ I guess the Y&R headline would be Conner Floyd exiting Y&R. It seems he just recently began taping on DAYS. The character Chance will continue airing in his Y&R role for the next month or so (apparently already taped) and this will be for the murder mystery, per the dialogue of Y&R's June 24 U.S. episode (June 23 Canada). In that episode, Cane privately tells Chance that someone is trying to kill him (someone trying to kill Cane). Cane asked Chance to come to France as a cop to investigate this. So I guess Cane is the target of the murderer. If anyone dies, it won't be Cane, since the show made such a huge deal out of Billy Flynn's arrival. Just for fun . . . I can't speak for anyone else, but I myself don't want Cane back at all, ever! I agree that it's better to put Lily with someone her own age. I think they should have brought Billy Flynn in as someone other than Cane.
