What a waste. We knew Craig and Nancy were ruined for no reason, (and yeah I still think Craig deserved everything that happened to him) but now to just have him slink out of town makes this even more pointless than it already was. Craig and Nancy didn't even need to be brought back if the endgame here was to have Leo be pissed and causes problems for Sonny and Chad/Abigail.

Loving all this Towering Inferno love lol Susan Flannery actually won a Golden Globe for that role. I wonder if SF was the one who introduced Wesley Eure to Richard Chamberlain.

Understandable, about Susan Flannery preferring to do 30 minute shows over 60 minutes ones. It still must have really sucked though, that after years of Bill/Laura/Mickey and keeping Mike's paternity a secret that it wasn't her playing Laura when the secret finally came out.

Strange to bring back a character who was on for just a few months, and at a time when Bo and Hope weren't. I know about his storyline with Eve, but did he interact with anybody else at the time?

Looks like a good week. And, it looks like the pacing is finally back to what it should be.

These press guys are all annoying. We don't need them to create drama when we can already get enough from existing frontburner characters. I'm here for Trina vs. Esme. It's still one of the best storylines on the show right now.

Possible. I think it was the Hayes' that once said that when soaps went to 60 minutes, a lot of soaps started to include characters singing in order to pad out the runtime, so I can imagine them doing the same thing here with flashbacks

It starts at around 47:00. In the scene, Mimi is trying to stall Marianne from leaving the diner, but the padding is just so obvious 😂

Better a long flashback then a 3 minute discussion on how to break a $10, like on AW 😂😂

And during their annual prison escapes, they can take their show on the road 😂 Agreed. Mike Manning and Charlie deserved so much better than what they got. I was hoping they would have seen how good Mike Manning was in the role and either wrote in a twist or brought him back as a new character.

Well hello... Looks like it's going to be a pretty hot summer in Port Charles 😂 But I do agree that the cast is way too large and could use a lot of trimming

I wish they would have invested more in characters like Charlie, Evan and even TR too, instead of just bringing them in to be the temporary irredeemable villain that gets written out in a few months, only to come back ever so often just to screw around for no reason. I can't help but think that that's also going to happen to TR. I also would've liked to see if there was any chemistry between Brock Kelly and Zach Tinker 😂

I don't like the way this is sounding. To me, it sounds like a suicide mission. Everyone BTS has to know that this was going to be a bad idea.

It just seemed to me like when Alexis found out that Harmony killed Neil, there was no feeling, no emotion. Like Harmony had just killed a random stranger as opposed to the man that Alexis loved

Thanks! I remember thinking that's what it sounded like in the recaps; scene after scene of Emmy bait but with no substance. In the end, poor Susan didn't even get a nomination for that storyline lol
