The show would be better as a whole if everything was less campy and less quickly, IMO. Everybody seems to forget that it's a soap, things are supposed to take time. It's like they really want to turn it into a primetime reality show and when a soap copies a different medium, it almost never works. 1994 B&B immediately springs to mind. It's well past the time for a change in the writers room. Not even just Ron and Jamey. I feel like a lot of them need to be sent packing.

Haha with that accent, the words “civil servant” just rolled off his tongue 😂😂 And agreed about Eric/Sloan. Their storyline and so many others are going fine, for the most part anyway. Which is one of the reasons why this biscuits thing feel pointless and unnecessary, and totally forced. Plus, all the rapey/non-consenting stuff did not need to happen again I hope there’s at least some effect to all this happening and it’s not just forgotten about in a week.

Today wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, though this biscuit stuff is so pointless and contrived. They did look good though, they looked like the ones you get at Popeyes 😂😂 There were a lot of decent scenes today, especially Wendy/Li and Johnny/Chanel. Jessica Serfaty and Remington Hoffman still need some work, but I was totally Team Li and Team Sloan today. I like that they’re giving Sloan more of a personality and more vulnerability. That’s what makes her rootable. Chanel encouraging Johnny was nice too. And I did like Johnny listing all of Tripp’s great qualities 😂😂

I didn’t mind the slap, but the fight itself was stupid and unfunny. I would rather have seen a real brawl, instead of one that was just played for laughs. As for Leo, the less said about him, the better 😂😂

We finally got a Sweet Bits set 😂 Though the rest of the episode was a little… Abe being the spoiler for Jada and Rafe is stupid. If Jada was still in Eric’s orbit, and still pregnant with his child, that would be a much better conflict for her and Rafe. And Chanel/Sloan was stupid too. I think I would enjoy this storyline more if it wasn’t written like some big joke

Funny how Spencer mentioned losing Britt yesterday and terrible it was for him, but yet they’ll probably never have him find out the role that Joss played in her death. SMH. His dedication to Trina is so admirable though 😊 I look forward to the moment that he finally tells her, “I love you”
