There's still so much they could do for Sprina, despite the year and a half that it already took. And it doesn't need to involve Esme at all. Hell, if Cam was still around, he could have been the potential pairing for her.

Summer 2001 When I started watching Days full time. And eventually, Passions 😂😂 The Salem High crew was on some kind of trip to an island. And on that same island was where Alice’s stolen necklace was hidden and Shawn was determined to find it. Nicole’s pervy father wanted the necklace too and disguised himself as a chaperone or something. And he ended up raping Jan and getting her pregnant.

We can add Alex to that list. He and Angelica were presumed dead when he was a baby.

Sonny was channeling his inner Dr. Marlena Evans today. I wonder if real mob bosses ever act like therapists for their family and friends 😂 I really hope they keep this Portia/Curtis/Jordan/Zeke situation going. I actually find it really interesting. I felt it kind of lost its momentum after Curtis and Portia's wedding and this could be the thing that starts it back up again. As for Spencer/Esme, that's a big HELL NO!!!! Again, this show. The choices that they make. They had a great spoiler for Sprina in Rory, and they killed him off. Esme is not a good spoiler for them. Never has, never will be. They want to play up Spencer as being angry and pissed off at the world, have him find out about the role that Joss played in Britt's death. That could be a great storyline and great conflict for Sprina. And this isn't even my hatred of Joss talking. Logically, that's makes much more sense than Spencer doing anything with Esme.

I thought it was good too, but it’s just been the same thing over and over again. The brainwashing/programming angle didn’t need to happen again. I wish they throw us a curveball once in a while and totally surprise us. And judging by your observations, it seems that not only do they need to hire someone to fix the pacing, but they need to hire someone to maintain continuity 😂😂

So, June ended with a bang… or four Some were hot and some were not. And some made us wish that Jada was still in Eric’s orbit 😂😂 Unfortunately, it appears that none of that helped at all in June, when so much of the good scenes and good storylines were overshadowed by stupid crap and stupid decisions. And stuff that we’ve seen God only knows how many times in the last six years. And with the hint of bad news on the way, who knows what’s going to be in store for us Days fans? Not only for this month, but for the rest of 2023 as well. Best way to find out is to watch and see 👍 DISCUSS!

Eric and Nicole were the best part of today. I like how they can still have some kind of relationship despite everything that’s happened between the two of them. Their storyline can be taken in so many different directions and I’m looking forward to it. I liked the party scenes too, but everything felt a little rushed and formulaic. They should have taken their time with it a little bit, instead of having Harris burst in so quickly. I think those are the biggest problems on the show right now. Slow it down and a little and try not to make everything so predictable and things could improve really start to improve. Btw, it’s well past the time for Rolf to be killed off.

I can’t help but think that Sloan confiding in Colin may come back to bite her at some point. I’m still liking Tripp/Wendy/Johnny, even though this story is missing a lot of beats. Having them interact with more characters or having more characters be apart of that storyline would make it better. Hell, poor Johnny’s so isolated, he didn’t even know about Gabi and Stefan’s engagement party. And I still think Chanel should be featured more too. Tripp should have wanted to go console her as well, which in turn can cause conflict between him and Wendy. And, even though I think there’s not much chemistry between Chloe and Xander, I do have to admit, they are an attractive couple though 😂😂

Well, his victim did write a letter to the judge asking to spare him any jail time 😂 I don’t see that happening in Haley’s case though.

Today was an improvement over yesterday and Monday. Idk, maybe it’s just that these storylines and characters are the ones that are worth watching. In some ways, even Gwen and Leo. Shocking, I know 😂😂 Even though this storyline is making her dumb as a post and I still think she deserves to get hurt, I’m actually enjoying it. I liked Tripp and Wendy’s quick date. It was really sweet and dorky and it was also nice just seeing the two of them have fun. And, Tripp looked good too 😍😂😂 The one thing missing from this storyline is the interaction between Wendy and Chanel. They really should be having scenes together, discussing the situation that they’re in and maybe even arguing and fighting over it. And yeah, I’m also still holding out hope for a Tripp/Johnny brawl. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a good fight on Days 😂 I also liked Sloan and Eric today. Despite lying to Eric, you can tell that she’s really sincere about being with him and starting a family. This is the depth that I was always talking about for Sloan. And I hope that the show keeps that up.

Same here. I'll always be glad that it's still here, but I really feel like these last couple of years have been in a bit of decline, due to a head writer that's clearly burnt out and new hires that don't jacks*it about soap writing.
