Today was an improvement over the last time we saw this stuff with Abe. I’m guessing a certain hack was not allowed anywhere near the script or the breakdown. I was dreading what was going to happen when it came out that Nurse Whitley was one of Marlena’s patients but the way everything was tied together was actually pretty clever. I didn’t see it coming. I also enjoyed the Kate/Paulina scenes. Things are always a lot better for the two of them and a lot of characters on Days when scenes are written with more subtlety. And, I see John was channeling his inner Clint Eastwood today. How many times did he call Jerry “punk”? 😂😂

It’s actually kind of strange how they refused to play that beats. I wonder if there was a reason.

Agreed. Not having Wendy and Chanel have any scenes together in this storyline was a mistake. Hopefully, they’ll correct that now. And yet he thought he could make it as a priest 😂😂

I can understand that 😂😂 Well, my reviews don’t cover everything😂😂 But I did think today was good. I felt we had some good character development today.

Today was nice. It was a very lighthearted, couple heavy episode. It was almost like a calm before the storm kind of thing. And I hope things get really stormy in the future for everyone lol I hope Sloan really is pregnant. That could be a good mess for everyone involved in that storyline. I just hope there isn’t a baby switch. And I like seeing Tripp so happy too, even though Li cockblocked him 😂 It’s about time Tripp got some happiness, even if it’s only temporary. His cuddle session with Wendy was really sweet too 😊 And yeah, I don’t really like Rafe all that much but I’m glad the show remembered his relationship with Johnny. Him and Talia could be really interesting together too.

Alex lives across the hall from Chad and Stephanie. And nothings been said onscreen, but since their kitchen is identical to Chloe and Xander’s, I guess it makes sense for them to live in the same building lol

So, now it looks like Stephanie’s gonna be a victim of misogynistic writing. She had to know what Alex was trying to do today. I know I would’ve tossed his ass out, no matter how good he looked in the towel and the robe 😂😂 This storyline is going fine just the way it is. Stephanie doesn’t need to be dumbed down in order for it to happen. And that’s still a no on Li and Trask. I do think they do need to give her more to do though. Or at least give us an explanation as to why she’s always so angry and miserable. Again, for me, it’s not really the story choices (except for this Abe crap, but that was clearly a Jamey idea lol), it’s the execution of it all.

I see they tried to make us have sympathy for Leo today… but it’s not gonna work. It never works in situations like this. Look at Kristen lol I do think it would be a nice, clever twist if Dimitri was playing both Gwen and Leo. Not only because it would be a surprise but because they both kind of deserve it too. And he did look hot today. Both in the suit and out of it 😍😂😂 I was glad to see Belle ripping Kristen a new one today too because this whole mess is her fault. I still don’t see how Brady can be brought in without a warrant or evidence though. That reminds me of the soap that I wrote when I was a kid, where everyone was trying to kill each other yet not a single person was arrested 😂😂 And, that’s a big Hell No on Li and Trask 😂😂

I was watching this morning when they announced it. Cindy Hsu and Mary Calvi could barely hold it together. I’m totally shocked. I was watching last week too and didn’t even have the slightest idea that they’re may have been something wrong. RIP

Brady and Kristen’s scenes were actually more intense than I thought they were going to be today and I was impressed by them. I still think Brady should have shot her though, at least in the foot or something. I don’t really see how Brady can be arrested though, just on the word of a horrible child and without any evidence. Hopefully, that’ll lead to Kristen getting arrested too. And hopefully, Brady will get the chance to tell Rachel how awful her mother is. I liked Belle/Jada today too. That whole storyline with Shawn deserves to play out on screen
