My guess is that, at the time of Beyond Salem, they thought Dimitri was only a one time thing so it didn’t matter that a gay actor was playing, more or less, a straight guy. But I knew that was gonna change now that he’s full time: Ron probably hates straight for pay as much as he hates male bisexuality 😂😂😂 Which is why I think Dimitri’s gonna end up being gay, not bi. But idk about Dimitri’s taste though. He had the dream come true that is Andrew Shawn Donovan as his hostage but yet he wants Leo?? 😂😂😂

I knew it the second I heard Peter Porte was coming back. There was no way that Ron was gonna have an openly gay actor be straight for pay long term Agreed that ponytails are not a good look for Nicole. But I did think that today’s style was better than that style that made her look like Ariana Grande 😂

Well boys and girls, do we know Ron Carlivati’s style or what? 😂😂😂 Aside from all that being obvious, it’s also pretty obvious that poor Dimitri has no taste whatsoever. I still think this could be a good story if it’s not treated like some cringey, campy joke. Too bad Megan’s not around anymore. Her perspective would have been nice to see. Speaking of cringey camp, wtf with those Kate/Gabi scenes today? They could have been so much better than what they were. And speaking of something that could be better, I enjoyed Shawn’s scenes today. Mainly because other people were involved in them. Roman and even like Rafe and Jada should be a part of that storyline more. There’s no reason why Shawn and Belle have to be in a bubble. If Martha’s not available that much, that could be a way to feature this storyline more. It should be frontburner.

It’s stupid. If they’re so cash strapped, wouldn’t it make more sense to invest in the actors and characters that you already have instead of cycling more people in and out? For a while, I even thought that if they were keeping Megan around, maybe that was the reason why the Bo and Hope story was botched, but my suspicions were clearly wrong lol

All the more reason that I wish we’d find out who’s making all these stupid decisions

So, Megan’s gone? Just like that? I’m sure she’ll be back soon but I still don’t get it. I really hope we find out what’s going on behind the scenes and who’s making all these stupid decisions. Not only for this, but for Bo and Hope’s disappearance as well. She really should be on the canvas full time, especially now because Dimitri’s story is starting to pick up. The two of them were good today and I was hoping that their mother-son dynamic would be explored more. Both now and when it’s revealed what I still think is going to be revealed about Dimitri in the future.

Don’t have much to say today except, are they gonna go there with Talia and Chanel? It could be a good story if it’s taken seriously, and if Johnny/Wendy/Tripp are weaved into it. As for the show in general, this Abe storyline is a perfect example as to why you should never hire someone just because they kiss your ass.

That makes sense. But it can also be tied back to what I said before: too much. If there had always been a little more subtlety, I think things would be different with the way people feel about Leo. Yep. And it’s also true for a certain reformed serial killer as well 😂😂

It’s just too much with Leo. No one BTS seems to understand that the more you try to shove a character down the fan’s throats, the more it just makes the fans dislike them. Plus, Leo’s not a rootable character. He hasn’t really ever been, except for when he found out that John wasn’t his father. And I understand why people don’t like the stereotypes. Personally, I don’t appreciate the implication that if you’re gay, you have to be like Leo. And that if you’re gay and not like Leo, you’re the one in the wrong, you’re the bad guy, etc. That was one thing I didn’t like about Beyond Salem season 1

Thankfully, there were more smart people than dumb people in today’s episode. EJ and Kristen immediately knew that Megan drugged them. Chad immediately knew that Harris was brainwashed. Can’t say for Rafe though, but I kind of expected that 😂😂 All in all, it was a good episode today. The Eric/Nicole angst is always good to see. I love how, deep down, they want to be together but so many circumstances are keeping them apart. As for the engagement party stuff, I’d probably find it a lot more compelling if it hadn’t been done to death already.
