ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
Cool! I think it would be fun if she popped up on The Haves and Have Nots opposite her OLTL sister, Tika Sumpter.

Knots Landing
Was it after Sid Fairgate was killed off that KL became a full-blown serial?

I'm glad the show is getting a second life in syndication all these years later.

I don't even remember her on GH, which probably says more about me than her. Anyway, good writing will help anytime!!

Dynasty Discussion Thread
Thanks again!! Did ANYONE out there like Emma Samms as Fallon? I did read a "Where Are They Now?" interview in SOD with PSM from 1998 or so, and when shown a picture of Maxwell Caulfield, she was quoted as, "Oh, he's CUTE! Maybe I SHOULD have done the spinoff". LOL Speaking of the character of Fallon, do you all think she really loved Jeff? Or did she just stick with him all that time to produce heirs to the Carrington and Colby fortunes? I'm talking specifically about when PSM was Fallon. Jeff was in love with her all along, despite everything, wasn't he?

He was a good actor, but he wasn't Adam Carrington. It squicked me out when he and Kathy Beller (Kirby) had kissing scenes!!

Yeah, Gray Bunny, but Mr. Thomson would not be there in the 1991 reunion movie. Adam had to be recast. Gordon Thomson had just joined Santa Barbara as the third (and final) Mason Capwell. From the interviews I read, he wanted very badly to be in the movie, but Spelling Productions didn't give him enough notice and SB couldn't spare him. He ended up suing Spelling Productions and demanding a public apology from Aaron Spelling. I don't know all the ins and outs, but I believe the lawsuit was eventually settled out of court.

Falcon Crest
Gosh, I miss the 80s!!!!

Flamingo Road
That is too funny. That would have been like The Waltons being on in the time slot immediately before Falcon Crest (but then, both shows were owned by Lorimar and created by Earl Hamner, so maybe it's not that bizarre after all, LOL). Hey, I personally loved the Laura/Manly "mush" and think Dean Butler could have really made a splash had he gone on to a primetime (or even a daytime) soap. (He is still mighty good-looking for a man in his late 50s, by the way!!) Speaking of LH and FR - true story: I went to the Little House Reunion & Western Film Festival that was held in Tombstone, AZ, in the summer of 2005. Stella Stevens was the first of the actors to be introduced (as they introduced the non-LH actors first) and on her way up to the dais she tripped and nearly fell flat on her face. Thankfully, she was rescued by a few of the fans dressed in cowboy garb who caught her before she could fall. Ms. Stevens had a good sense of humor about it, though. She came across as a very happy, spunky lady.

Where the Heart Is (1969-1973)
Yes, Carol Roux did mention in an interview that she was offered a role on WTHI, but turned it down. Carl (I think) posted that interview on the Somerset thread.

HOW TO SURVIVE A MARRIAGE
Thank you. Maybe that's why I haven't heard much from her on TV - it sounds like she's devoted much of her career to the stage.

Primetime Soaps
Oh OK, I didn't know that. Thanks. My cable provider doesn't carry the Hallmark Channel - dagnabbit!

Yeah, it's kind of hard to tell. A lot of them don't even have this show on their imdb pages that I could see.
