I saw that episode!! Finally breaking out of the doctor mold, he played an FBI agent.

What makes these episodes so fun to watch is that it's obvious that this was a very close-knit cast (as Sharon Gabet has confirmed in interviews the past couple of years). Many EON cast members are still good friends today and have reunions when they can.

Rod Arrants still speaks the world of Sherry. He loved working with her, and they remained the best of friends until she passed in 1994.

Speaking of Alice, my latest autograph success came today in the form of the second Alice - Susan Harney. Ms. Harney is now once again living in her hometown of Murfreesboro, TN. She autographed a screen cap I took of her in character (the scene where Alice is in her house remembering the fire), and added a very sweet handwritten note. I'll get the images off to Carl as soon as I can.

Nurse Ginny is the younger black nurse. She bumped into Dr. Ed Stark when he first started at Hope as Nick's lab assistant, and it was hinted that they might be paired off but nothing ever came of it. We also got to see her, Carolee and Nurse Wheeler in civilian clothes for Althea's bridal shower at the Powers house.

That's too funny. No wonder Gerald Gordon left after that story wrapped up!! (But did come back briefly about a year later.) Getting back to Loving, didn't Geraldine write for the show at one point?

The past week's worth of episodes have been nothing short of amazing, from the acting to the depiction of surgery. The operations we've seen thus far have looked frighteningly real. I also loved how Matt kept calm through the whole process (from helping Nick search for Althea, to snapping into action to get help for her once she is found, and trying to be strong for Nick, Penny, Maggie...). If the Daytime Emmys had existed back then, there's no doubt in my mind that Gerald Gordon would have won if just for these episodes alone.

I can't get over how young Rena Sofer is here. She looks just like a kid!!!

I looked on various sites and it appears that Jennifer Warren is still with us. She was also great in a memorable Bob Newhart Show episode where she plays a talk show host who completely skewers Bob ("Who is Mr. X?"). If you haven't seen it, see it!! Bob Newhart and the late Marcia Wallace supplied commentary for that ep on the Season 4 DVD. Now back to your regularly scheduled RH thread...;-)
