  1. Wow. It sounds like it's going to be a whole A$$ mess once I get ahold of the episode without pre-empts. Lord... Same. Carly's about to be on the loose again. But THIS TIME...I'll be here for it. Oh so it truly begins. smh. Given how Lois has been shown since her return in town, yeeeah that is pretty damning (for lack of a better word) given how she blew up Sonny/Nina for what Nina did which was not at all illegal. She's been about truth the whole time so...disappointing for sure. I have liked Lois's return...until it wasn't. It started strong and I still feel that her return is the only return that is second to Lulu's return. Because otherwise, hers would be Number 1 with me because it was not fumbled at all and seem plausible unlike Jason's and Lucky's where they were separated from the people they should have been around or didn't get the depth it could have been in their returns. I take that back. lol. I would say 1) Lulu 2) Ric and then 3) Lois in terms of good returns. It's just a shame that, just like Nina, Lois has become an afterthought in stories that I feel she could be a part of to some extent.
  2. At this point...I'm not sure if she wants him dead or if Brennan wants him dead. It was a mish-mach of dialogue. I thought Perry did a great job as well. But of course that was probably because I was looking away when Brad exploded. So I noticed cuz that got my attention.
  3. RHOP I don't see what everyone else was talking about online. This episode was better than the last episode we got before the break IMHO. The tension has been building since the DnA event where Gizelle started to shade Mia about her storyline of two men. And the audience definitely did not like Mia speaking on Gizelle's kids, either. But Ooooooo at the OGs slowly, but surely turning against Mia and started to gang up on her at the end of the episode. Chef's kiss to me. And mind you...it was Stacey and Keiarna stirring the pot that led to said gang-up. I was only sorry that Jacqueline Mia's representative jumped in and the ladies pulled back. And while the fun...outside of the dancing...in the last episode were like meh, I felt this was more fun. We still got scenery and fashion, but there was more genuine moments. Wendy and the hat. Seeing the La Dame/Gizelle friendship on full display...still giggling at 'Smooth Criminal.' The intimation game was cute. And then the walk to the next spot with La Dame posing in the door...just fun. LA DAME. Outside of Jacqueline's dig 'we're not driving, right, Karen?' and the fact it did seem like she was wearing her DUI wig, there was no sign of a hint of the DUI case. I was worried how I would see her in light of the video again...but it felt weirder to just see her...being her. I did enjoy her, though. That door posing. Her and Gizelle together and getting along. She even showed a 'little bit' of grace during the gang-up. And she is still giving out tea cuz...did we always know that Karen used to be married before Ray? GIZELLE. Lord she stay playing chess, don't she? Yeah, she should have gone even harder at the dinner table in the gang-up. That said...she got Mia good when she said that if Mia was going to start on her kids ON CAMERA, she better bring that apology ON CAMERA, too. And she was angry and you could see it. And she was not backing down until the waterworks started. And given her unfollow of Mia and the forthcoming reunion...I'm curious to see what she does next. Extra mention to her minion...I mean Ashley...also calling Mia out earlier in the episode. Meanwhile...Gizelle was...fun throughout. WENDY. She got her little bit in on Mia, too. Everyone else would like to forget Miami, but she definitely picks her moments to remind folk. Other than that, she did keep it fun and has been a great host for the trip. There has been some drama, but it has not at all gotten toxic. ASHLEY. 'Say less.' I KNOW MISS ASHLEY DIDN'T!!!! lol. She came out to play this episode. Because how well she stayed on Mia's neck (while Stacey stayed on hers) should be studied. This was the Ashley I used to know and I enjoyed every moment of it. From her questioning Mia about the Tale of the Missing Kids (That Weren't) to her saying the above when Mia got offended she was checked to her shade, shade, shading Mia every chance she could get in her Confessionals, she did not let up. And Mia is NO La Dame when it comes to confronting Ashley. STACEY. She was a hoot as per usual. And I continue to love how she stays on Ashley's neck. And SAME about her opinion about Mia's blond hair...which as most people know here...I feel exactly the same. And we got a brief check in on TJ. I was only sorry that she was falling for Mia's lies. KEIARNA. Thank you for the flashback, Production. Other than that, it was interesting to see how her and Stacey started that whole Mia gang-up. Since Keiarna was concerned for Ashley all day only to set Mia vs Ashley in motion. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the tea on her lawsuit with Sesame Street. MIA. Le sigh. Even I was sitting there watching this episode and taking popshots at her. Cuz how could she set up that G might have run off with the kids without checking in with the nanny or friend or whomever it was. Or even without calling her kids. It just came across like a stunt...right down to her trying to cry (to no avail) on camera. And since she was not mentioning it, no wonder everyone is giving her the side-eye...making it perfect for Ashley to start poking holes in her narrative. And then that tea about Jacqueline and Inc...just made it the perfect opening for the gang-up that came for her. I will still give her this much...in the part of the gang-up that was her vs Gizelle...she wasn't wrong either. Good, bad, ugly...Mia has put it all out there. However...NOW...it has become too much because it does not give 'in on the joke.' It gives...GROSS. Worse, she has doubled down, not taking her licks. She continues to play this game oh so wrong. And the OGs? OVER HER. A good episode. And next week...even with the Jacqueline/Ashley stuff...still looks good. So I feel a bounceback in energy coming.
  4. Exactly!!! Nothing, but vets running around and they are not phoning it in at all. lol. I could wax poetic about Savannah for days as a young Southern boy who sat with his mama and sister watching nighttime soaps. lol. But the WB shows back in the day... Thank you!!! I've always say that if there is one thing AH can sell and has always sold well, it has been Victoria as an ice queen. I still remember when she came on and found out about Brad/Sharon and she nailed Victoria perfectly.
  5. @soapfan770 I am definitely enjoying Victor vs Ian. I wasn't around for it and I have always loved Ray Wise as an actor since SAVANNAH so the layers he's giving in this confrontation is flawless. And EB is giving as Victor as well.
  6. New BH and NY tonight!!!
  7. 1-6 So let me get this straight...since Sidwell is the 'hot young thang' in Frank Valentini's eye...that means that we might be FINALLY getting rid of Cyrus then? Because while the writing on the wall has kinda been there since the Lulu Awakens storyline began when he argued with Lucky from Laura calling him out to the Sam reveal to now Portia banning him from the hospital. Nothing against either actor (and I think we all know how I feel about Jeff Kober outside the show), but no. Due to the link to Laura, Cyrus is more important than Sidwell. And speaking of links to Laura, I would rather Nik got out of jail and reclaimed Wyndermere if the plan is to keep the set. And as much as I love seeing Lucy and again don't mind the actor...I just shook my head because there's no reason for him to be there unless it leads to one of two stories....1) something for Brennan and/or Jason to deal with and 2) if Robert/Holly come back. Okay 3 if this turns into a story for Lucky. Still...not needed. Saying all of that though...there were quite a few things to like about this episode. I felt like it was building blocks to something bigger to come overall. I also felt there were little things that held my interest. And yes...I hollered at Carly busting into Jason's job. It was just such a CARLY thing to do. I just wished it was a different set. It was just typical Carly/Jason right down to the dialogue. It also made me think how un-Carly Carly has been as of late. Just a little thing that brought a little smile to my face. Same with that brief flash of shirtless Drew. Though I don't know what Willow was thinking. But tbf, I found the beginning of the episode was an abrupt start. Almost like I had missed an episode...which did not help. Meanwhile, those Sonny/Michael scenes did nothing for me. It just felt like the potential in this triangle (really love quintet) had really been sucked all the way out of it. And that ILY felt cold. It also fell flat. I knew that lame henchwoman was not long for this world. But I've said she's a foil for Carly/Brennan. Clearly. Moreso if the plan was NOT to shoot Valentin in the first place. But I did gasp when Brennan got ahold of that footage of who killed Dex. Uh oh now. Laura reduced to recapping? Well, better than what they did on the 1-3 episode of B&B. And I did like that keeps us abreast of the Lulu storyline. Same with Lucas confronting Portia about Liz. Awww at Brad standing up for Brit and him and Lucas having a moment. That ending...well...it kinda would have been nice if that had been combined in scenes with Brennan with the footage to make a really good cliffhanger. Drew/Willow's ILY ain't it as a cliffhanger. Dex's killer...which will lead to Sam's killer + Micheal and the explosion (and the aftermate) are far better cliffhangers together.
  8. 1-3 OMG!!! The giggly heffa FINALLY admitted that Sharon did not run her off the road. And also...she SAW who did!!!! lol. GOOD. Trifling heffa. I did like the amount of movement going on. Slowly, but surely everyone starting to wonder where Sharon is while everyone reacted to Ian being in town while Sharon is knocked out on a bed. And THAT is the plan? Blame it on Giggly Heffa? Lol. The irony. I thought it was a pretty good week, but I'm looking forward to this new week off of the NEXT WEEK promo and the fact it appeared like it will be a well paced week.
  9. 1-3 I know I'm in the minority, but I like Will/Electra. Like I said before, not a fan of meet-cutes...especially when they are forced, but I felt they were at least done right. That said...WOW. They not only rushed through that Remy storyline, but they used this episode for recap. Really? I had to shake my head. They were better off just SHOWING Remy being caught...not TELLING us he was if they were going to recap complete with flashbacks. So Luna is under house arrest. Uh oh now? But on the good side since she, Poppy, and Li are still in the opening, I hope something comes of it. And hey...it gives Bill a story. And if they are going with Bill/Katie, they have drama for sure. Oh, STFU Ridge. Team Brooke even if she is staying at the company to find a way to give it back to Ridge. He was so insufferable. And I did love her throwing Taylor in his face.
  10. Which reminds me @slick jones they dropped him in the next week trailer (this week) and YUM with the scruff. I got my wish.
  11. 12-3 Outside of the Val propping, that was much better. I was here for the Curtis/Nina scenes (getting freaky with it took me out), Dante vs Lulu, and surprisingly the Sonny/Jason scenes. It was so weird to watch Jason say that. Because both times that I remember Jason running the mob, he ran it BETTER than Sonny. I believe one time I hoped that would lead to organic drama between him and Sonny when Sonny wanted it back because he was clearly jealous Jason ran it better than him. It...like the recent scenes of Ned acknowledging that he was happy Jason had finally moved back into the Q Mansion...showed some growth in Jason's character. I just wished that Jason saying that would lead to the writers actually showing more of Jason's non-mob life including his kids. Dante vs Lulu was great because while I love AB's acting, Lulu HAS been annoying and feeling more like she has forgotten about Rocco. So good on Dante calling her out. And bringing up Sam. Masterful. CW again showed how good she can be and how much of a shame she's an afterthought in her own storyline in those Nina/Curtis scenes. Curtis picking up on something going on with Drew/Nina and saying it was none of his business was funny. And him having the common sense to say that Nina could easily end it all by saying she has been sleeping with Drew, too. And just watching CW's face as Curtis talked to Nina as each and every point he made hit her BEFORE he dropped the bomb he figured they were sleeping together. It was subtle good work. And showed the depth that I was just typing above was messing in the episode before. It was nice to get Nina's POV again and overdue in this storyline. I see now. But it also seem to be updating as quick as I posted that message. So hmmm. Nope. I do know one exist. Not specific and not in the discussion forum. Very. I am not one to use the word propping likely and ever since he's been back in frame, that has been all that Valentin has gotten from the writing and stance. It's why I would have love for the writers to pull a Y&R JG and just have Lulu come back with Charlotte after finding her off-screen...something JG loves to do with his plots...well, the more interesting plots he has.
  12. LMAO!!! Them facts though. Hollis was a hottie.
  13. Agree. Even with my vents, I will always give credit where it's due. Not bored and clearly not indifferent. It is frustrating how they can get momentum going and going well...only for it to abruptly go left.
  14. At the rate they are going with 1-2's scenes with Lulu/Val and now Charlotte and 'Papa'...I mean...*shrugs* And this is coming from someone who was a Vanna fan, but now I just loathe him on my screen as much as I have come to loathe whiny Anna.
  15. Well, I mean the good news with such a lead time in, I would think the directors have had time with the actors to be sure it goes well and looks good.
  16. 1-2 WACKA, WACKA, WACKA!!!! ROLLING MY FRAKKING EYES. It was bad enough that Valentin was back and he and Charlotte got away. But the Val propping...and THAT was propping. The 'PAPA's. Sasha refusing anything from Michael whom is RICH. Anna, Brennan, and the slapstickiness of the tazer. The lack of nuances in the Alexis vs Ava scenes when the history of just last year alone would have made those scenes great...even NLG looked a little checked out which is unlike her. Oh hell no. Again, I looked at the idea police aka HW. And well...my glare will stay right where it is with my theory. I was at least happy there were nuggets that I did like. For one, Dante being there dealing with Lulu and Val. Outside of that, I didn't like the clear Val propping. I didn't like the wacky henchwoman (though I can't emphasis enough how much I love henchwomen). And Lulu's return...which was the first return in a good minute that was going well for me...has been completely derailed to prop a character that no one gives a frak about. And I AM NOT talking about Charlotte. Yeah, in light of the spoiler, and watching all this stuff with Sasha/Michael/Willow/Drew, I'm starting to wonder if there has been a rewrite going on since Michael started to get all mournful about Willow rather than vengeful as he was a few weeks ago. Because the drama, the messiness, the scandal of it all was written RIGHT THERE. Yet...it has completely gone to nein. Sasha and Michael not growing closer? WIllow and Drew looking in love? Nina STILL an afterthought? They could have been heading to an organic climax to this storyline so the shear lack of any dramatic tension and the feel of the 'paint by numbers' narrative was extremely shocking at how doubled down it looked. I guess it says everything that while Sonny was on that floor, I thought 2 things. ONE...DIE, SONNY, DIE!!! And TWO...given the rumors for the last few years, is MB finally retiring??? Cuz otherwise...where could this storyline go? Outside of Isaiah having a new secret. I mean I'll take a Sonny/Brenda reunion any way I can get it, but I doubt this is the way they would go. But since I am venting about the writing well...*shrugs* Heck, this happening while a vengeful Michael was around would be a chef's kiss for storyline purposes if Michael had to step in. Or dare I say it...Kristina...who even with my loss of love for her...I would STILL pick as Sonny's heir apparent as I have for years because it just made sense. Like I said above, I expected so much more from an Alexis vs Ava scene. And we have definitely gotten that before. But I'm not hear for a begging Ava any more than I am here for a whiny Anna. Because BOTH women are capable of doing things alone and ON SCREEN. The slanted writing was just on screen. And I'm not here for that. And saying that basically reveal my feelings about those Anna vs Brennan scenes as well. A waste of an episode. I am wondering. I guess I'll find out within the hour since the labelling of these episodes look waaaay off.
  17. Yeah. It's very much old school Bill Bell...who was quite good at that re: adjustments for the most part.
  18. Lord...with the dropping of the spoiler...don't tell me they dropped tomorrow's episode, too?

    Oh how my jaw dropped.
