Can I take a moment to say how much I love that Nicole is NOT playing Dumb Heroine? I loved that she saw right through SilkPress like glass in a window.

Well for me, it's not that he's a bad actor. He really isn't, and he has grown on me tbh. BUT I have to agree with something I saw online yesterday: I lay it on the writing. And what the writing appears to be giving him...which isn't too much...and what's on screen...is that they want this version of Ted in a traditional soap triangle with Nicole and SilkPress. And I'm not sure if that will fly. But I've said this from the moment NuTed had his first scenes with SilkPress and all of a sudden, Nicole's POV vanished from the storyline for lengthy periods of time. If they keep doing it the way they are currently doing it, I feel it would be a fumble. SilkPress has not been written into a corner yet, but she's done a lot for the audience to believe she would win Ted back. And when is he fighting for his marriage? It just feels like a way to keep Trisha Mann-Grant...which isn't a bad thing. But...???
