Genie Francis was pregnant when Laura had Lulu. I often wonder if the show really wanted to give L&L another kid. I am pretty sure TG was against it, but then again I think he was against everything Luke/Laura in the 90's lol.

I know it's off topic, but what did she and Bryan Craig do? I never though KT was that great either, but I do enjoy her with SBu/Jason. But it could be because I felt like we have been stuck in JaSam hell for years so anyone is better.

Hope post-Bo's death lasted longer than maybe she should of. She was wondering around town aimlessly in a bunch of odd pairings and outlived her usefulness. Up until then I thought Hope was pretty critical to Days being a Horton then a Brady by marriage. I don't miss her at all. The only time it's awkward is when Ciara is doing something Hope should clearly be involved in. Chloe is a good one. She is likable, but her character has had more personality traits and weird stories than most characters on the show. Every time a new writer comes in Chloe changes from good girl, to vixen, to prostitute, back to good girl lol and nothing she does is particularly memorable. I just browsed through new replies but no one has mentioned RH and ME and their multiple characters on GH? I am also surprised Alexis on GH has lasted so long. NLG has suffered through some of the worst periods of being backburned and some of the worst stories, but is still going strong 25 years later.

Jax actually did leave for about a year from 2000-2001 when Ingo booked the primetime show Titans. Jax left to find a 'dead' Brenda because he was convinced she was still alive (which she was obviously, but he didn't find her lol). Post-Brenda/Pre-Carly he hooked up with Sam first then married Courtney and had the WTD story over Spencer with Nic because Courtney cheated on him. I mean, not that it was very memorable, but that's what he was doing lol. Sam owns this thread. Considering how ill-received her character was initially I can't believe she has lasted so long, especially since she really has no personality traits of her own.

I know. And LK looks amazing and is super sexy and attractive, but this is nowhere near the character Deborah Adair created. The smart, saavy business women. I just don't connect with the character anymore and I feel like the show bends over backwards to make her relevant and be involved in things she shouldn't be.

I love Lauren Koslow and she is amazing, but Kate is not a character that should still be so prevalent. Especially in the way they use her as the town welcoming committee for young guys. It's so not the character Kate should even be. Fair. But Marlena was pretty popular from the jump and practically help create the Brady's so I am not shocked. I 100% get your point, but I think it's just a newly created character that became a legend. And also what other great-grandma is as cool as Marlena?

I am shocked people are saying Marlena. She is Days to me and deserves silly front burner stories. I would rather watch her and John over 90% of the cast. I do agree they haven't built up the next generation well, but I don't think Marlena has ever outlived her usefulness. She carried Days for 20 plus years. If we are talking about Days characters that have outlived their usefulness I would nominate Kate, Roman, and Victor. All amazing characters in their day, but nothing anymore. I would agree GH owns this thread. I would nominate Jax first, but Sonny also comes to mind. He just created a slightly better trajectory for the character with the Carly pairing.

I don't think Ingo had good intentions. I think he got fired from GH and basically has nothing left to lose so he is pandering to a certain fanbase that supports these beliefs because it's all he has left. So he's doubling down on some of the worst right winged beliefs. I obviously don't know Ingo as a person, but these posts are seemingly intentionally trying to gain press, interest, and exposure. I don't think he is a horrible human being, I just think he has some really awful beliefs and is really going all out to get maximum attention.

I mean it's better than KL playing John/Isabella's son on Days. Isabella/John would never have a blonde haired kid, even if facially he looks a little like John. I'd buy him as John/Marlena's kid, but not Italian/Greek Isabella's kid. Agreed.

I think NS was okay. I think his work looked better because Tyler had been phoning it in for so many years at that point. Whether it was personal issues or boredom, TC didn't seem like he gave a [!@#$%^&*] about Nik or GH. So in comparison, NS was a breath of fresh air. I don't really like MC or his Nik, so I probably would be fine with NS, but he's nothing great.

Yeah, I get it. I think he's pretty good at playing Jax. I don't ever think IR is phoning in his performances. I thought he was good with Brenda's 'death' and when she blew up at S&B's wedding and Jax started yelling at Sonny. IR isn't going to win any awards, but I always thought he was serviceable. I can't imagine him playing a bunch of other roles with range, so the way you are describing it is perfect. I also agree with pretty much everybody that Jax does not need to be recast. It is a character that has coasted on a triangle/pairing that has been over for 2 decades. Wasn't there a rumor that he was very litigious and threatened to sue for wrongful termination?

I am going to be honest. I don't think Ingo is that bad of an actor. I think when he gets decent material (which is rare) he's actually pretty good. I think he's someone who actually improved a lot from when he started. Plus, he used to be charismatic as hell. Anyhow, I thought he was a super chill, nice guy for years. I thought he was underused and got the crap end of the stick for MB/Sonny and loved when he called SBu out about his juice stuff. Weird how quickly things change.

There is nothing I can find in interviews or social media about him ever trying to become a citizen or becoming one, but maybe he is invested in this because of his family being citizens. Idk. That doesn't mean he not a citizen I just would think he'd proclaim it more.

Lol! I have asked this before and no one seems to have a definitive answer about his citizenship. IR has never mentioned it one way or the other so who knows? I honestly don't think he is.

I thought SBu/SK had some sort of blood relation, so wow, they do look related. HP and LA do look a lot alike. Especially in that picture. BTW, DZ is the only Sonny child that even looks vaguely like him lol.

I think we have had this topic before, but I always thought Marlena's kids looked like Deidre Hall. Ali Sweeney, Kirsten Storms, Martha Madison, and Jensen Ackles all were believable as Marlena's kids and Christie Clark and Kyle Lowder were believable as their half siblings. ORK's Claire looks a lot like MM too. Paul and EM's Brady have very similar mannerisms to Drake and I buy both of them as John's sons. ] AM and ER looked a lot like Susan Lucci. SK and SBu as AJ and Jason Q-I don't know if that counts because they are some sort of cousins IRL. JMB always looked like what I'd picture Luke/Laura's daughter to look like. Anyhow, there are a lot of families on soaps that don't look alike, but I will say my pick will always be Brenda and Julia Barrett. There is no way they are even half sisters lol.

Sure he could. I just don't really see the importance of his character. He would be a good age for a male character related to no one and he does have a connection to Ciara and Shawn D, but it would be a lot better if Bo/Hope were around. I think the show missed the boat on that and should have brought him back as a teen, but with the right actor I wouldn't mind him back.

Oh, I agree with you. Making Bo the father was a total copout especially because it wasn't even possible until it was retconned and they went as far as having a fan poll over Stefano vs. John as the father. I believe John won? Was it ever disclosed? Anyhow, after all that, they kill Zack off by Bo's own daughter a few years later. It would have been much more drama if it was John/Stefano's. Since the show killed him off so quickly there was really nothing to lose by making Zack John or Stefano's. Also JT should have come back at some point.

I think I would consider it Roberts since that is the name people referred to her as since we have 'known' her on GH. I know Benson is her legal name, but Roberts is what I'd go with since no one ever referred to her as that on the show. It's weird the show had her steal the 'real' Carly's identity though. It makes her backstory very confusing.

I think John would have been the way to go with that. Stefano has enough kids. As a Jarlena fan, I was against it, but thinking back it would have been good tension between Bo/Hope/John/Marlena even trickling down to Belle/Shawn sharing a sibling. In the end it was all for nothing because they ended up killing him off. Days has always been obsessed with their supercouples only sharing kids with their soulmate on the female's side (except for John/Marlena) to their detriment I think.

Ben? The same people that continue to use her as a shrink after she fake murdered half the town lol? I think there have been ethical questions about Marlena's psychiatric abilities since the 80's at least, so I doubt people will ever stop going to see her lol. I have always wondered how she had any sort of consistency with her patients when she was kidnapped every 6 months in the 90's or the fact that her husband is her #1 patient, but it seems she is the only game in town for mental health.

It's hard because I liked Jax. I wanted to marry Jax in 1996 lol. I don't really like most soap stars social media. It makes me like them less more often than not. It breaks the spell or 4th wall if you will. Of course I know they are real people that are different from their characters, but it mostly makes me think it's an overshare. Anyway, it is what it is. I do think it's very awkward how publicly this has all been dragged out. I in no way think it's appropriate for people to put others in danger medically by not getting vaxxed, but I also feel a little weird guessing about GH actors vax status. Again it's fair game because the people involved are putting it out there but after the 2 years the world has had it's just an ugh to me

For sure. If it's a Joss related issue a recast is fine. If it's a pairing thing, with let's say Brenda/Carly/Skye etc, I would just pass. I don't need a recast on that. I'd rather a new character be created than a recast. I would lean toward killing Jax off in general, but if it all comes to a firing I assume they would just write him out instead. He could very easily jet offscreen to Australia, to find Jerry, to find Brenda etc.

Outside of the Carly pairing, the mixed married stuff, and the Brenda returns/Skye story, Ingo has done nothing the last 2 decades. I like Jax and always have, but if he never returned after he left in 2000 I don't think most would care lol. He got an entire career out of a year and half love triangle, so I don't feel bad for Ingo. And he can spew his nonsense elsewhere. I wish I never knew anything about his personal beliefs and what not because I think it has completely skewed my view of Jax as a character because of Ingo.

I would agree if Ingo is out now he's out for good unless it's a brief stint for Joss or Vanessa returns and they decide to use Jax for something Brenda related. Otherwise, Jax is literally useless and has been for years. The only thing about IR is that he does seem to have a base of very vocal followers due to his stance on things. I don't think anyone who is in the industry or soaps, but I wonder if those "fans" would cause a lot of noise.
