  1. Victoria should be the young leading lady of this show, she is after all the only remaining true Sugden. But since her last name isn't Dingle she will probably never get the attention she deserves.
  2. Wait a minute!! They're killing off Donna?!! I haven't been keeping up with news about Emmerdale recently, but just found out about this! And of course she brought Marlon's baby back with her! Another Dingle brat! I swear that family multiply faster than rabbits! If they thought they could get away with it they would probably change the name of the show to Dingledale! I hate that whole family. It was a sad, sad day when they showed up. Things like this actually make me glad I stopped watching this show!
  3. Poor Tipper, if she only knew what the future would hold.....
  4. How sad http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-28265506
  5. A young Agnetha Fältskog from the 1972 Swedish production of "Jesus Christ Superstar", where she played Mary Magdalene
  6. Pandora's box has been opened.....
  7. ...and the music better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYXZQ19KNkc
  8. Ooh, Madonna... A different kind of nostalgia. Now I'm transported back to my teenage years.
  9. Feeling slightly nostalgic tonight for some reason, and watching old 60s songs on Youtube.
  10. Nadal won I don't really know why, but I can't stand him. I hope he retires soon.
  11. You know, this got me thinking. Emmerdale has done such a good job destroying itself that when Sheila Mercier dies, and consequently also Annie, then they really have no way of giving her the goodbye the character deserves. The Sugdens have been so decimated that there's virtually no-one left. Annie has lost all her children (Jack, Peggy and Joe), three grand-children (Sam, Sally and Jackie), two stepgrand-children (Mark and Rachel), two daughters-in-law (Pat and Sarah) and at least one, maybe two husbands, (Leonard and probably Amos) not counting Jacob who died before the show started. Of course, since she has so few ties left to the village, and has been gone for so long they will probably not even bother with anything anyway.....
  12. I'm so sick of narrow-minded bigots.
  13. That campaign ad would have been in poor taste whenever it was published! Is it any wonder that shootings like this latest one happens over and over again when this kind of stuff is put out there? Not everything is bad in the U.S, and everything is certainly not perfect here in Sweden, but in many ways I'm glad that I live here and not there.
  14. They may have toned down their rhetoric, but they originate from far-right and neo-nazi movements, and below their polished surface those ideas are still the basis for their politics.
