  1. SAG Award winners 2024: The full list of nominees and wins
  2. So now we have Charity with PTSD, Belle is being abused, Eric has Parkinson's disease, Chas has cancer and we just had a car crash that killed a teenager.... Emmerdale is all about fun these days, ain't it?
  3. I have to say they did a marvelous job with the casting of Sydney Kathrann Smith. She really does look like a young version of Alice Horton.

  5. I never thought I'd say this because I usually like winter, but....
  6. I'm sure no one will be surprised if the name ABBA is mentioned once or twice during this year's contest.....it being 50 years since "Waterloo". But for me the big story of the year is the return of Luxembourg!! One of the original participants and the country that has given us Eurovision-classics like "Poupée de cire, poupée de son", "L'amour est bleu" and "Après toi"! I don't expect songs of that calibre again, but it's good to have them back.
  7. So, after literally months, we're heading back towards Sheila vs Steffy again? Brad Bell seriously needs to step down as headwriter if he wants this show to survive. He has lost all creativity and just keeps circling round and round.
  8. Anyone surprised? Jailed Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny dead, says prison service
  9. The story with Brooke and Ridge was even worse than this, because Brooke, who was taking some medication at the time, actually said no and told Ridge to leave but he didn't listen and had sex with her anyway. And yet they still didn't call it rape....
  10. This can almost have a place in the "Best acting moments" thread as well. That KKL managed to keep a straight face opposite Moss and Lowder (and not get hurt by the splinters that were obviously flying around from all the scenery chewing) is worthy of admiration.
  11. I think it's thanks to KKL that Brooke is still a somewhat viable character.
  12. Aren't these two movies too similar? I thought that Barbenheimer became a thing because those two movies were so different that they attracted different audiences.
  13. Another undisputable truth
