With EE technically still being in a transitional period (the show seems to improve during a transitional period & then the wheels come off when the new EP full influence is in play), I must say, the show is on a upswing. Don't ask me how it happened, but I'm finding myself engrossed with what is going on. The focus is better, and so is cast interaction. It's blatantly obvious how much Jon Sen seemingly was a major problem on the show.

I'm intrigued by the show in the sense that it was written by Rita Lakin, who penned The Doctors for sometime. I'm really curious about her writing and how it was on other shows.

The show constantly casts people who should have been Ashland. Smh

I can't believe this show has me looking up "Hillary scenes" from Y&R on Youtube. I really miss the spitfire that was in that character, and MM was incredible. She even made boring Lily/CK interesting, as I was totally invested in their rivalry. Such a missed opportunity.

Really loved the Julie and Jennifer scenes. This is what we need more of, Jennifer with her family (Maggie, Julie, Lucas, etc).

It's crazy how they've seemingly left that Esme story thread hanging... Bless it.

Missed opportunity to have Adam go up against Devon in a business story, and of course Victor being caught in the middle (we all know he'd side with Devon over his bio son Adam). But Y&R has to keep those story bubbles and their characters isolated <sarcasm>

I can't shake the feeling, that Brando's original intent was to be a spoiler for Sonny and Carly; with Carly starting an affair with him. So many storyline changes take place on the show, after setting things up on screen. It's so unorganized, one of the reasons I've tuned out recently. The show thinks we want to see Sasha and Willow on screen 24/7 being tortured, I just want them off my screen period.

Years ago I mentioned how the Trent Robbins murder mystery was incredibly paint by the numbers, by being so basic in how it played out on screen. That doesn't compare to Ron's attempt at writing a murder mystery, which is so messy, inconsistent, and all over the place. It really says a lot about a writer, when they can make Dena Higley's work seem like Shakespeare.

It will be good to see how Daniel interacts with his sister Summer.

One little nitpick from Tuesdays episode: I hate that John and Marlenas bedroom is basically the same color as Rafe and Nicole’s. That Royal blue or whatever was obnoxious. I don’t expect any earth shattering changes from Days regarding its switch to Peacock in the next few months. It’s obvious much of these episodes were intended to air on NBC. Hoping at the very least we get to see scenes that would’ve been cut due to airtime; increased scenes explaining characters motivations etc.
