  1. PLEASE do me a huge favor. Submit this to Barb Bloom at CBS daytime! I loved every scene, every character interaction, and every plot! It's so innovative and readable/watchable if it were on screen.

DK and EW really need to take a look at your page. Even if there were recasts for the characters who wouldn't return, it still would be an amazing show. It would be in the same ball park that ATWT is in right now.

  2. I thought that the Ash and Mona break up scene was very bittersweet but the Mona raping Abe was sick, disgusting, and quite revolting. That's just who Mona is though. I think she took it a little too far. Just like Ash did to Rufus (both were gross!)

The Patti Labelle vs. Sister Pat would be a great rival and it was funny to see Madea in the picture.

Natalia should have wound up and slapped the crap out of Dr. Diego for doing what he did. If she gets her baby back, then he better look out, hell hath no fury like an SONOP vixen scorned.

The ending was great because I've been saying it from day one that someone should shoot Lauren!

  3. Thanks for all of the comments. Of course for me when it rains it pours and I've been so busy but I'm trying to pump out as many episodes as possible.

The sidebar will have Season 1-4 recaps. (Which will take a lot of time to write.) That way people will be able to play catch up.

Here's what's going on with Blake/Marli/S.R./Bryan. Marli arrived in town but was harboring a secret. It turned out that she purposely schemed with S.R. (who was apart of a gang in Reno) to witness a murder so that she could fake her death. The reason she wanted to fake was because she wanted to see who would come to her funeral. Marli told S.R. to leave town but he was befriended by Bryan who paid him a lot of money to get as much info on Marli as possible to use against Blake (since Blake is going out with Marli and is the president of the school). Bryan wants control of the school and S.R. thinks he'll become powerful if Bryan uses Marli. Marli tried running S.R. off the road to shut him up because he was about to tell Blake everything.

The real rivalry is between Blake and Bryan but Nate is Blake's friend who will support him in his battle over the schoolboard. Nate's trying to get his mind off of Ava (whom he felt betrayed him for her ex lover Sky) but she's preoccupied with Bobbie. Bobbie is mentally challenged and Ava is her volunteer helper for a Sociology project.

Marissa despises Alley and does not want her going out with her brother John. The two hate each other but now it's going to be who can get to John first with news to destroy the other one.

Nan is for sure bonkers as M.L. put it and is scorned by Jenny because she was the one who made her have a miscarriage when they were friends way back when. London is captured because she's Blake (Nan's ex) wife. She was used so that Nan could fool Blake into thinking his dead wife was alive.

Will is for sure the bad guy here but he's trying to do whatever it takes to get Alicia to himself though Rena is staking her teritory on him.

The next episode has a huge family reveal with The Colby's.

  4. What an episode. I like Patti LaBelle's cameo because she's not a bitch like her daughter. She's sweet, caring, and charming. Plus she really shuts the whore out of her daughter's mouth. Haven't heard Ria spit out anything about male body parts.

In speaking of male body parts, Rufus's massacare was GROSS! I'm still shaking over it. Ashley is seriously insane. Alexis better be prepared for a huge fight if she wants to go toe to toe with her psycho sis. I was hoping that one of the bro hoe's would slam the door down and knock out Ash.

Can't wait to find out what will happen at Bryan and Sabryn's wedding. I swear all of these SONOP couples are getting hitched. Though Sister Pat has to of course rub it in her face that she won't be happy. Just because she acted skanky with D.C., doesn't mean she has to go and rain on someone else's parade. Though the last time it rained, Ash was run over.

When Bro Hoe #2 admitted to almost killing Lauren, I was thinking "please do it!" The scene was intense and it worked.

The saddest scene in STEAM history had to be Jodie's death. I was surprised she didn't get to say goodbye to Mike but it was still sad. I'll miss Jodie very much.

Where the heck did Sharan and Rufus go off to? What an awesome cliffhanger. Good job again. Can't wait for the season finale!

  5. I don't feel sorry for Abe getting shot by Sharan. Abe has done so many things wrong in the past that this maybe his karma coming back to well bite him in the ass. Mona is really getting everything she wants and Abe's faults gives her a redeeming factor to her but she's plain psycho.

I'm liking Santino and Jenn together. Even though I hate Jenn's horrid character she is totally going to get trapped by Karl. I see you're back to your sexual ways again! Putting dollar signs for 's's still spell out vulgar words.

I'm bored by Dre like I always have been, even in this love triangle between Lauren and Daniel. I still think that Lauren deserves to be with Chris and I'm thinking that Chris might not be dead. Nothing is as it seems in Passadena.

Ashley vs Rufus. Let's put Mona in the mix and we'll have a nuthouse bloodbath. I'm thinking that Ashley outdoes Rufus in the "not with it" department but Rufus is disillusioned in the "in love with Mike" area. Although I cringed at the ending of the scene. That's just sick.

Patti LaBelle looks great as Ria's mom, can't wait to see how she shakes things up in town. All of these mamas on SONOP makes the summer sizzle.

  6. Hey I just checked out your blog and I'm hooked. I like the cast and the characters seem very likeable. Plus I like what you did with the blog format. It's very eye pleasing and that opening you made is amazing! (I was actually a fan of it when it first debuted on Youtube.)

I know what it's like to start a series mid-season and to continue from there. It's hard to try to cram all of the good stuff from episodes so that you can continue where you left off but BTH does a good job of playing catch up.

The plot that I like the best has to be Terrence fighting for his life. It's full of emotion. My second favorite is Aviva vs Carina. Any rivalry is always fun to read/watch so I hope these two continue to go at it.

    Again, welcome to SONOP.

  7. The hottest plot was definitely Dylan/Lucy/Alex/Cassie. It has so much intrigue to it since everyone's going after power.

The other plot I'm liking is Marah digging dirt on Ava. I hope she uses it and shoves it in Ava's face. Can't wait for Bill to reveal that he did her mom. Such wonderful karma in Springfield.

  8. Hopefully I've told you this before but I love the format of your site. It's so captivating and it really, truly is the Guiding Light that fans would come to know as their own.

Shayne's bi-sexual??? Very nice story plot that GL should explore if they decide to bring Shayne back into the picture. Maybe this is the issue that will bring Reva and Josh back into each other's lives. You really captured the friendship aspect vs. their past with each other.

I've never been a fan of Ava so Marah digging up dirt on her makes me root for Marah even more. Expose the bitch! The only thing I like about her is that she's Olivia daughter.

Looking good is an issue that plagues America today and it's obviously plaguing Springfield. Ashlee should be stronger than that and I hope that Coop, Lizzie, or even big bad Dorris can help her see it.

Last but not least is a hot triangle on SONBC: Gus/Nat/Alan. This torrid romance is worth reading but I have to root for Alan because I've always wanted Gus to be with Harley. Garley was my number one couple to watch...at least they used to be! Sigh.

Very nice episode Jay. Can't wait to read more. You should seriously submit this to Guiding Light for a possible job offering. A lot of writers start out shadowing their favorite shows and become staffers.

  9. The title was all about SONOP's number one tranny...Rufus! The poor girl, first she thinks she's at the top of her game and then with a flip of a gun, she's the one taking orders from Ashley. I like that Ash is helping out her sister Alexis. It gives her a little bit of a redeeming factor that she's willing to look into her empty psychotic heart to help out someone other than herself. (Even if she's still going after Bryan on the side.)

I was excited to see Bro Ho step up to Sister Pat. I can't wait to see whom or what Miss Jenkins really is. It's probably a person that she killed along time ago and thinks is still alive. It's going to be crazy and hella good. I actually was just watching the Sister Patterson vs. Krazy fight on tv, and that's so Sister Pat!

Here's the thing I don't get about Jenn after reading this episode. Why does she hate Jodie so much? The girl's dying from AIDS and she still wants to go after her. That's more heartless then Ashley. We know she wants Mike which Jodie has so is it jealousy? If that's the case, go after Mike, use Santino to make Mike jealous. All this is going to lead to is more trouble with Ty and Karl.

Karl your son's a big boy, stay out of his life! Ty you should've shot the bastard when you had the chance.

All of these gun toting residents probably own their pistols illegally. Good episode and you know that I'm loving that the bitch (Ashley) is for sure back!

  10. Thanks guys for the comments, you know they truly mean a lot to me. I'm actually enjoying Kim Zimmer's character of Lana because I wanted to throw Revaisms in there. She seems like a lot of fun to be around, to a point of course. Which was surprising because when Lana was first brought on, she was only seen by phone, but since she's actually in town makes her lively and exciting.

You all know that Nan is crazy on many levels. This time, it's just layer upon layer of being psycho. Nan's motto is to get whatever she wants at any cost. She always has a reason for doing what she does and she always has a masterplan if it doesn't turn out. Nan's master plan of kidnapping Jenny and this new guest, can just be added on the many list of all the evil things she's done. (I'm thinking this is probably number 35!)

Gilbert guest starred as the housemate who called the ambulance in the beginning scene. That scene sort of messed me up because it had to end on a mini-cliffhanger with Officer Wendell at the door but I wanted to wait until the next episode for it to be resolved. Which means that everything had to follow within the same night. Usually there's always a day break or two but not this time.

Yeah I noticed how stupid these characters can be sometimes. What with Sky screaming on the phone that got her caught and now Marli's phone may get her in trouble. That's basically why I write those ploys is so that I can have these characters with secrets get caught! Just to speed up the plot becuase if it said something shorter on Marli's phone, then Blake wouldn't have worried but now that Blake knows she's been talking to the F.B.I. well that's kind of a red flag for his own interrogation. Though Marli's secret isn't fully revealed, you'll see it come out in the next upcoming episodes and its consequences.

The Blake vs. Bryan rivlary is a lot of fun to write, though I have to admit, I liked it better when it was Blake vs. Nan and Bryan. It's always good vs. bad and the prize is power. That's what these characters are driven by. Being on top is the name of the game at Point Palace!

  11. Speaking of amazing casts, FTL is filled with the right actors playing the right characters. I'm sure you heard this before but you should be writing for GL.

Gus/Natalia/Alan triangle is so intriguing. If Gus was still on the canvas today, then this is tthh plot I would love to see. I'm kind of hoping that it's Gus's.

  12. Sorry it took me so long to respond. This episode was good! Anna really must be desperate if she's going to someone else for help. It's one thing to ask for business advice but it's something else when you strike up shady deals. That's pure Anna.

I think that Christina would be a nice fit for Edmund after his nasty divorce. It seems like he needs to get his mind off of his troubles but his kids might be a problem for Christine since she never wanted them.

Ethically I don't want Jim to be a pill popper but for soap opera entertainment...push him over the edge! Very nice cliffhanger ending.

  13. Since the new format I've been dying to read this episode. Ash is really beyond sick to the point where she might be hated. However we got to see a remorseful side when it comes to her unhealthy obsession with Bryan. Here's what I would love to see: Ash end up with Bryan and Sabryn be with Gilbert. It seems like the two who are together don't deserve each other. Both Ash and Gil would do anything for the ones they love, yet they're ignored. Bryan had to do whatever it took to get Sabryn to fall for him and if she didn't have her baby, they wouldn't be together.

It would be so sweet if Ladonna joined a love triangle with Bro Hoe and Alexis. She seems like such an interesting character that's in the background. (Very Ginny vs Tanisha aspect.)

Good job for Dre standing up to Sister Patterson. She's just going down in flames! Then again she was already going down on something when she messed with DC.

Poor Abe...nah he had it coming. Karma's a bitch like his current should soon to be divorced wife. Mona better wise up and see that Sharan is a user! I wonder what Mona will do...

I've been wondering, is STEAM going the telenovela root? The show is so big and over the top that I don't know how you could continue to out do yourself but I'm sure you will.

Nice episode and I'm glad to have had finally caught up. It was well worth it.

  14. I love how all of the villains of the show are friends. It's sort of like a justice league for baddies. Mona and Ash are crazy on different levels. Mona is fueled by revenge whereas Ash is psychotticaly obsessed.

Ria is so transparent but with the casting, it's so entertaining. She likes two things: money and wee wee. Though Jenn better watch out now that Karl is after her.

The bro hoes and their dad is just messsed up. Abe deserved answers and his sons deseve a good punch in the mouth. Surely Lexi will give that to one of them.

Can't wait to find out what happens next!

  15. Check this out...I just got a new phone that has net capabilities so now I'm able to catch up with all my SONOP shows. This episode was jam packed with excitement.

Ash vs Dahl was awesome because of the whole Nat tension and the fact that they both came back from the dead. The ending was classic but Ash should team up with Dahl instead of try to kill her. Maybe she could use her to get back at Sabryn. Ash is still nuts which is one thing that hasn't changed.

For once I liked Dre because he might expose Kevin and Lauren's secret. Poor Daniel is always caught in the middle. Lauren became such a whore. How dare she try to pawn it off as Chris who died because of her stupidness...well that and Mona.

I love Sister Pat at times she's cartoony but it's great to see that she has faults and has sinnned. DC is the perfect culprit of temptation. I hope Abe goes ape shhhh on both of them.

Last is the most touching story on SONOP, Jodie and Mike. This story is being pulled off corectly. It tugs at your heart. I like Heath and Lina. Being there for Jodie is what she needs most, support.

Whhaat's this I hear you wanna move? With all of these episodes coming out it would be a dang shame. The show is too adicting to watch it go.

  16. Um...let's start off with Rufus and Mark. GROSS! That was so disgusting. I'm not siding with Dahlia on this one because she's obviously a homophobe but it's just really sick. At least with the whole biting stuff. ::Shivers::

Poor Jodie, I really hope she can pull through this. The support group was interesting and intense all mixed into one. Though Heath may be gay, do you think there might be something there with Jodie? (I'm just saying)

Then we have Hope and Suga, they're just a modern day Thelma and Louise.

The ending was creepy. That's the one fun part about back from the dead characters, when they reveal themselves to the living. It was wierd episode yet forceful and if you're interested, I know where PP and Steam and crossover!!!

  17. Thank you for that warning but I practically expecting that, what I didn't expect was Dahlia witnessing it all.

D.C. should drop kick all of the bro hoes, especially Dre. That fool is just blinded by money but this does make for an interesting read to see how dangerous Ty truly is.

Didn't think that Diego...oh wait, yes Diego's a bastard so he would stoop so low to help Ashley. I love Ash's character because you feel sorry for her. At least after everything's that has happened.

Was I watching the scene from Borat when he went to the church? That was too funny when Sister Pat had Hope get rid of all her sins. It was halarious!

What was definitely the highlight of the episode for me, was Gilly admitting he's silly for Sabryn! Finally, the guy's had a boner for her so long...though others would disagree. Thank you for making this happen and it's even funnier that her water broke.

Keep up the good work because S.T.E.A.M. is still S.M.O.K.I.N.G.!

  18. Where to start? With Ria. She's such a hippicryte. The only reason why she's siding with Jodie is because she was caught and she doesn't want to look bad. That's kind of too late since she knew what she was getting herself into and whom she was doing...which was disgusting D.C.

Poor Natalia, she's so like Nan in so many ways. They now share something in common, they've both lost babies who would've given them the power to control the men that they wanted. (I think their blood related somehow!)

I think the only reason I'd like the Bro Hoes if they actually poked their mother in her two eyes just to shut her crazy mouth up.

The reunion between Mark and Dahlia was nice, even though Mark is stupid to automatically assume his back from the dead lover is a murderer.

The Hope story plot feels a little wierd because it's so out of character for her. (That's judging from DAYS, not LIS.)

Jenn had what was coming to her and Karl/Ty shouldn't be so surprised that she's capable of such bad things. At least compared to what those two have done. (BTW, Thao P. is a really nice and interesting guy. He has the best stories!)

Then this ending was creepy, horrific, and cliffhanging. It was awesome. You can tell that S.T.E.A.M. is trying to go for a more serious feel to it while still balancing that craziness aspect. Keep up the good work and I'll comment on the new episode very soon.
