  1. Sorry for the long delay but I'm so happy that I caught the newest episode. The whodunnit is on and popping. I'm glad you didn't have someone shoot Natti and then that was it, instead it's going to be a long drawn out plot. With tons of suspects.

It was nice to see Suga back to her ghetto bitch self. Didn't Dahlia learn the first time? You don't mess with the woman who stabbed you before you faked your death. DUH!

If Sharan and Mona do get back to Passadena, I'm hoping that Mona goes psycho and blows up the bros in the house. Though the bro ho scene was necessary so that Sister Pat can get her verbal smack down.

Can't wait to find out what happens next.

  2. Oh shucks M.L. you know I love your comments. Sometimes that's the motivation I need when I'm feeling "blue" like my banner.

I think you meant Carrie meeting Dylan's parents. Carrie briefly talked with Lana (Dylan's mom) last episode but they haven't met in person so that was what Dylan meant. Which of course has to be hidden the fact that Carrie told Lana that Dylan had cancer. Also, we learned that Dylan's father had died but it's something that Dylan doesn't like to discuss.

You spite me by killing Chris...the only good person in Pasadena!

  3. Is anyone really dead in STEAM? This was a powerhouse episode. Very fast paced and exciting.

Let's start with the return of Ashley. She's purely psychotic and overly possessive as she always was. Loved seeing her back on the canvas.

Hope being in Passadena is a little strange but Hope smoking crack with Suga and Rufus, makes perfect sense.

The catfight between Jodie and Jenn was necessary. I was so happy that Jodie beat Jenn's ass and I like that you incorporated the "knife" wielding skills from the previous cat fight. It was also very powerful that Jode admitted to everyone her big secret.

Even though it was a shock to see Dahlia, I thought it was a little too much. First we had the return of Ashley and now Dahlia! Also, why couldn't it have been a cliffhanger. Who shot the big bad bitch of Passadena?

It was still a really good episode and I'm on pins and needles to find out what's going to happen next.

  4. OMG is all I have to say to that amazing cliffhanger ending. You wrote it out so well too because I seriously thought that Ashley was dead. I'm so happy to see her back as LIR and helping out her dear old sister. It was classic soap opera!

Loved seeing Natti getting catty with Rufus. She deserves to slap her across the face for all of the havoc she's been wreaking but it's only because Ruf is in love. Hell hath no fury like a tranny scorned.

It was very nice to see Jodie get a second chance and I can't wait to see the disaster at the press conference. I'm hoping that Jodie beats Jenn down in front of everyone on camera. If Ria wants to redeem herself, maybe she should help stop Jenn.

Wow M.L., I was shocked when I read this episode. Just wow.

  5. Durand's "sweet jusus" comment had me picturing Katt Williams saying it on his comedy show. Not because the characters are outrageous but because you're on fire with the episode postings. I play catch up with one and see that there's another one already posted. Good job though.

I think it's about time Sister Patterson's holier than thou attitude blows up in her old skanktastic face. When she hit D.C. with the bible, it was a hoot. Though instead of one her sons finding out, I think Rufus finding out about it would've given her more ammo to use in this town.

At first the scene between Bryan and Rufus was strange but when Rufus started to extort him, it got interesting. I'm thinking that someone might be out to shut Rufus up once and for all. (Hint, hint...a really good whodunnit!)

Loved seeing Sabryn's bitch, Gil, back in the picture. I'm crossing my fingers that his role gets a little boost. Maybe he could accidentally find the tape to destroy Bryan so that he could have Sabryn all to himself. (I'm thinking like a character from PP.)

Nice episode and I'll read the next one when I get a chance. I also have to catch up with HHD and Novi.

  6. Let's start off with the opening...it's HOT and so fitting for the show. It definitely gave me the vapors. It also inspired me to want to make an opening for PP.

Character of this episode belongs to DC. He is so funny and I like how he gave it back to his nephew. No wonder the bro's act like manhoes, it's because it runs in the family like Dondre (or Bro #2) pointed out in the end. However, I hope to see this pimp turn into the king of Passadena.

Next we have Natalia who's been sincere lately! Really? It's nice to see her genuine side but let's see that bitchy exterior come out. I was shocked that her best friend Ria might become her enemy though I knew she had it coming. That's what you get for paling around with the Devil named Jenn. (Who I absolutely love to loathe.)

On to other characters I've lost respect for...Lauren. Anytime I see a scene with her and (Bro #1) Kevin, I want to throw up. These two are just gross together and it's really Lauren's fault. She's a hott mess at this point. Get out while you still can. Daniels' who you want, not a bro hoe!

  7. Thank you guys for all of the comments and suggestions! You know that I love to clarify whatever concerns you all have. First let's look at Marli Calloway.

Originally the creation of Marli Calloway came from a fan of the show who was to be a love interest for Blake. (Though he just lost his wife, he does need someone to pawn after.) Enter Marli, much like Mika from Season 4, Marli is a huge mystery. All we know about her is that she witnessed a murder in her hometown of Reno, had a one night stand with Nate, and talks to a mysterious person who dictates her life.

She was supposed to have gone after Blake, meet someone else, and then leave Blake to go after a customer from her new job that hit on her. Blake wasn't going to be happy about this and went to extreme lengths to get this person out of Marli's life. Outside of being president of Point Palace, Blake was also to explore his musical talents. He was to sign up for a band (named Said Out Loud) looking for a lead singer but the band's main guitarist was to be Marli's boyfriend. Blake was going to quit until it would've been revealed that Marli's new beau and Blake were related. They were cousins but Blake wanted nothing to do with him. Enter Candi Hanulan who was going to be thrown into this quadrangle. Candi was to be Said Out Loud's new lead singer and Blake tried scooping her up. Instead Marli's man has an affair with her and after Marli found out about it (after accidentally being locked in a freezer and being released by her boyfriend and Candi in a compromising position), her man was going to be murdered by an obsessed fan of Candi who kidnaps her. The obsessed fan drugs Candi and marries her but is arrested.

Unfortunately that story never panned out because there were too many new character involved like band members (including Marli's boyfriend's brother who falls for Candi and is in the band also) plus love interests for the band members. One of which was to go after Will. I would've had to start a spin off or something.

These coming episodes the mystery comes to light. The present that she received is a huge key to what it is and Bryan is definitely the third person involved here. Since Nan is involved with Carlos, she doesn't want to be bothered by Bryan, whose ultimate goal is to gain control of the school. He sees a new oppertunity to do so via Marli. He rumages through her past and finds out something very damaging.

Tune in to find out what it is.

  8. I'm loving that this holiday season I get to celebrate it by diving into my favorite SONOP blogs. Now that The Market, NOVI, and HHD is back on the air, it feels familiar. Let's begin with this funkadelic episode.

Sharan is so smart to be trying to be genuine with Mona just to use her for an escape. After all, Sharan's objective is to get off that island alive, and like we say in my acting class...the other person in the scene dictates what you want. I'm sure this will lead to a huge plot to look for the girls. (Funny that Macy Gray's character grew weed, I'm sure she has some left in that giant fro of hers.)

The Ty/Daniel confrontation was needed and the love scene was passionate. It was cleaner then norma so I appreciated that. Ty is always a fun character to read and I think that if he were to hook up with someone like Natti, those two would paint the town red...literally!

Kiko is a very likeable character. He's a lot more likeable then the bro hoes because he's the complete opposite of his family. Please whatever you do, make him to be as pure as possible. I can't take another skank humping, foul mouthed, bro hoe.

Then we get to Ria. What the hell would she want with Santino? How could that possibly satisfy her in any way possible besides getting her off? On to Ria's "best friend" Jenn. It was nice that Ria was calling Jenn out on her own relationship with Jodie. In speaking of Jodie, it's a shame what that bia Jenn found out but hopefully it makes Mike dispise her.

    Nice episode M.L.

  9. I'm not going to repeat my comment about Ria but what I will say is, wow she has slept with uncles, brothers, fathers. She's like the diva version of Brooke Logan from B&B. When will the bros stop having eyes and other body parts for her?

You know what I say, Gil loves Sab but Bry will never change. Gil reminds me so much of Ginny from PP. (I could see them as a couple.) I wonder if he's going to be the best man or be like Henry Coleman and be the best woMAN.

Mike and Jodie's plot continues to be touching. This just goes to show that Jodie has already won Mike's heart. Jenn should just back off or at least take the hint!

The image of Rufus was fitting for this episode. If I were Rufus, I'd already be hitting the press because let's face it, he's not getting some anytime soon. Go for the gusto man...I mean girl. Alexis and Rufus could be a nice team.

The older bros, Abe and D.C., was cool too because we saw more than just a dirty pimp that D.C. has shown himself to be. Now we have character development with him.

Last but not least we have Daniel, Lauren, and Ty. Daniel definitely needs to do more to Ty then just punch him out. It was a nice cliffhanger and I can't wait to read what happens next.

    Glad to see you back!

  10. Hmmm...doesn't that cat fight look familiar? Very nice episode and I can't believe that DC and Abe are bros. More bros and hoes to look out for.

If Jenny really wanted to get back Jodie, she should've walked down the runway herself but what she did was mean enough. I'm all for team Jodie here because Jenn's a mess but that always makes for a good read.

Seems like everyone's a blackmailer in Pasadena and I'm sure that Diego will learn the ways of how to do it properly. Although he's going up against the Queen of Mean so the doctor better watch out.

Hopefully this comment makes it. You know I'm a die hard STEAMer!

  11. So much to start off with. The Rufus/Sister Patterson scene was halarious and intense all at the same time. Sister Pat was cast down to a tee and I know everyone keeps telling you that but it's true! The way she treats DC is horrible, even if he is a pimp, he's still her husband's brother and that's a SIN. Funny that one of the bros had to find her. I don't believe that anyone is capable of not keeping a secret so I think he'll find someone else to spread the word of Pat's sinful betrayal.

The Lauren & Daniel scene was very touching and also very similar to scenes in PP. That whole "I can't believe this wierd stuff that would never happen in real life, happened to me!" It felt very familiar. I was happy to see those two together but not because of Chris's death.

Mike is of course dumb if he can't see that Jenn is a spiteful bitch. Ooh I like that, I'm going to have to use that insult for another episode. Jodie deserves him and the spotlight so everything that Ty endures on Jenn, she deserves. She honestly doesn't even deserve Santinio who IMO should be with Jodie if Mike's going to be that stupid.

  12. Poor Jodie. I feel so bad for her character and it's all because of Jenn. I think that if Jenn really wanted to get her back she should've stepped into Jodie's place and become the model. What she did though was mean enough. Mike is running around clueless as hell but surely enough he'll find out what Jenn did.

The confrontation between Ria and Sister Pat was funny and bittersweet. That secret was very shocking and surprising. Though I still think Ria should've slapped either Pat or Karim.

Wow poor Mona. Even though she's fueled by revenge, she has so much depth to her, which Sharan should and can use to her advantage.

    Nice episode.

  13. I can't believe no one made a comment on the Ava & Nate love scene. It was so freakin' hot IMO! Ava will definitely have more issues when she has to deal with Sky and Sky's neediness.

This isn't the only time Alley has walked in or not walked in on something. I always call Alley the door dropper because in the pilot episode she walked in on Carrie kissing Will (when she was with Will at the time), she almost walked in on Carrie having sex with Dylan (when they were together at the time), and now she's being set up by Marissa. You also get to see John's reaction to the situation in the next episode too.

The reason Nan wants to break it off with Bryan is because she's used him for all he's worth to her. Since she's not going after Blake anymore, she's done with him. Also he now knows about Anna Lee and Anna Lee knows about Bryan so if the two start talking...trouble may be brewing.

Blake's always a hero but of his relationship with Marli will be very tedious especially since he knows she's hiding something. Not to mention that a certain someone is always lurking over him.

I was really iffy about Jace/Alicia/Will plot because I thought that I had just thrown a couple who already had problems into a love triangle for Will to move on to his life but I'm so glad that I did. The reason is because we get to see Will be bad again. In this episode we were able to find out why Alicia stays in such an abusive relationship.

The hardest plot to write has definitely been Jenny & Carlos's plot because of the situation at hand. She was raped by Nick, who's killed, but now has a baby that lives inside of her. That's some pretty heavy stuff to deal with.

  14. I think it's very two faced of Ria to just stand there and act civil with Jodie while her and Jenn did what they did in Cleveland! The confrontation between Natalia and Sabryn was razor sharp. I'm sure someone will blurt out how Bryan slept with the devil. Though that devil has had a little bit of a soft side recently.

The jail scene was halarious because you know in real life that's how Sister Patterson really is. Dre's definitely going be going crazy in that cell but I think that he and the bros deserve a little insanity.

This episode had such well written dialogue and the episode was also well edited!

  15. I'm so happy that Lauren went back to Daniel, after everything he's been through, he truly deserves her. Even if it was at Chris's expense, I can see why these two are a supercouple. They have been through so much throughout this series. Also, Daniel has every right to sue/choke/kill or whatever verb you can think of to use to get back at Mona.

Mona's doing business and warming up to Sharan, it's sick and twisted, which is the way us STEAMers like it. I think it would be really cool to see Mona go up against LIR. Evil bitch versus psycho bitch would make for some awesome writing. Poor Sharan, she's almost like the female version of Daniel.

Wow, I can't believe that Karl said that to Jenn about his abusive son's ways. Santino's the one who deserves to be with Jenn and Ty deserves to go to jail along with his psychologicaly abusive father. (The casting for Karl was perfect!) Jenn get out of there if you know what's good for you but she obviously doesn't if she's hanging out with a pimp like DC. It's going to be awesome when he sees Jodie because I know the sparks and the claws are going to fly!

Sister Patterson had it coming. It's funny that two wrongs don't make a right (Sister Patterson hitting Rufus and Rufus stealing) but it makes for funny material. Both are such comical characters that even though the scene was supposed to be serious, it's just halarious. I'm sure it was very liberating for Abe to get back at his demeaning and sometimes demonic wife like that.

    Very nice episode!

  16. Yea we're going to see Suga again. I loved that character back in the STEAM day. It seems that everyone's always eavesdropping in this town, once someone finds out a secret someone else knows about it. Rufus's scene with Diego was funny yet true...seems like we've had this conversation about tranny's before. Maybe Kiko wants in on the fun of blackmail.

This was the one time we were able to see a nice side of Natalia. She truly wants to make it successfully without plotting or being evil. Which is going to be great when her karma catches up to her.

Ria needs to wash her mouth out with soap or with something clean, maybe mouth wash. I love this character because she's just ghetto fab and doesn't care. She was a little bit of a hippicryte in this episode though. She tells DC she wants to act like what happened in Cleveland stays in Cleveland, then why is she running her foul mouth to Natalia?

The last scene was something we all knew was going to happen. Ty's powerful and needs a thrill so of course controlling Jenn gets him off. These two are definitely like Ike and Tina minus the music. This will probably just push her closer to Mike who is too wrapped up with Abe to find Mona. Mike really must be an understanding guy because if someone fired me, I wouldn't try helping him find the daughter who I thought was dead and molested to try to save the town. I'd try to take the bastard down!

    Good episode.

  17. The following episode was X-Rated! I had to fast forward the Rufus/Mark scene, it was a little bit too graphic for my tastes. Another OMG scene was between DC and Ria. DC reminds me of one of those pimps you'd find on Jerry Springer. What is Ria going to gain from this besides herpes? I know she's trying to help out Jenn but isn't there some sort of limit?

I really like Jenn and Santino as a couple. Though I still think Jenn is a conniving bitch, I'm beginning to not like Jodie. Jodie reminds me of Meg from ATWT because she jumps from Ty (Craig) to Mike. She needs to slap Ty, who's rich trash, to go after Mike. Mike's the one who truly cares for her.

The ending was good because it showed that you can't always hide from your problems. Someone in Passadena will find them out and expose you for all your worth.

Quote of this episode goes to Mona after being called a psycho. "But a well planned one though." Very razor sharp!

  18. Thanks you guys for the comments. When I was writing this episode I kept thinking to myself, this is going slower, but sometimes that can be a good thing. Usually the episode titles mirror the endings. Which made for a predictable yet very interesting cliffhanger. Whose the father of Jenny's baby? Is it the one she loves or the one who was killed for raping her?

Anna Lee's character is different from the other two sisters mentioned. Nan is the bitch, Tracie was the romantic, and Anna Lee is very fragile. Which can either be a good thing or a bad thing for Nan.

Yeah you'll be seeing Agatha/Ginny/Tanisha throughout the episodes. This plot was never supposed to be frontburner but it will be featured a lot in Season 5.

Here's the history between Will and Ava. Ava met Will in high school when they lived in Denver Colorado. Will introduced Ava to booze and a party life which for her went way out of control. Especially when Will left Ava without telling her to go to Point Palace. She originally popped on in Season 1 to get back at him and show her what he turned into, which was an alcoholic. Instead she met Zak who was a drug dealer, fell for him, but he was killed by Will because of a bad dealing that involved Nan. (Nan was pregnant with Will's child and tried passing it off as Blake's.) Ava hated Will for killing someone she loved and vowed revenge. Skip to two seasons later when Trella was doing research on Zak and went to Ava to find out that Will was the one who killed Zak.

Thus, that's why Will wants to really help Sky as well as going after Alicia...which will be moving along at a fast pace very soon.
