Not surprised that Ryan Hawley lost again (the show has given Robert nothing but trash, and many viewers despise Robert, something else the show doesn't care about fixing), but I was happy for Danny Miller, as I think he has given a lot of good performances this year. Adam Woodyatt won earlier this year so I wasn't annoyed as I may have been otherwise. I'm especially pleased that Danny Dyer didn't win anything. Adam Fielding looked breathtaking. There were no solo photos of him, so I just cropped one with him and Ryan and Danny as if I'd cropped everyone out it probably wouldn't have worked.

I hadn't really heard of anything he's done in recent years but it still repulsed me, especially the "unrapeable" part. And then qualifying it with "if it were my daughter" - AKA he doesn't give a damn about anyone else. This keeps bringing out the ugly truth about so many people.

As Althea's mother popped up again recently, I thought I'd post a scan of a July 1953 Radio TV Mirror article with Florence Williams. She looks very pretty here - I tend to wonder if they aged her up significantly for The Doctors (of course that was 15 years later), the way soaps often did in these years.
