Yet another rock bottom moment for NYT, with another desperate hack (Katie Rogers) getting bailed out by the loathsome Peter Baker and her extremist pals like Olivia Nuzzi. More wagon circling and far right framing at every turn, and a headline that has changed more times than Maggie has checked to see if Ivanka has answered her texts.

Meanwhile Democrats have the likes of Manchin, Sinema, and of course Breyer, who are "above politics."

After reading today about Miles Teller causing a set shutdown after not being vaccinated, I'm glad that for once, a soap is ahead of the curve. If Ingo doesn't like it, then I'm sure he can try to fly his flat ass back home to Australia - oh wait, they might not even let him back in at this point.

She's a pretty repulsive person. I think because she's the type of person who is awful in a very insidious way, yet keeps on chugging along. You are reminded that TV shows telling you someone gets comeuppance are never real. I just feel sick watching her.

Sure enough, they are tripling down (other states not mentioned include Iowa and North Dakota), and the media is going right along. I'm not surprised by this (and yes it could improve - I don't really know what difference that will make at this point), but I'm still angry. The media hates us and wants us to die - they cheer sending our soldiers to slaughter and cry blood tears oncamera when they don't get what they want. I wish that Biden and the party apparatus would see the media as the threat that the GOP does, and work on dismantling the shell that they have been for the last 30-40 years.

I'm watching It Should Happen to You before it leaves Criterion, and it's remarkable how much Judy Holliday reminds me of Randall Edwards. RH truly did not know what they had with her.

I think some liked his show, and of course it's nice to see a soap fan getting to live out their dream. But based on the games that DC played (especially with the AMC and OLTL revivals), I have no real interest in watching his shows. Anyone who loves the work of a talentless hack like Ron Carlivati or MAB is not a writer whose work I am going to rush to see.

Dame Judith Anderson plays Barbara Stanwyck's stepmother (Stanwyck has severely dangerous daddy issues) - she isn't in it much, but every second she gives is superb.

The amount of soap actors who liked his anti-vaxx posts - and there are likely many more who just don't have the guts to hit that button - tells you why he isn't going anywhere. This is a very conservative, right wing industry, which is one of the reasons it is nearly dead.

This gave me a good laugh I desperately needed.

You can find a number of late '70s and early '80s episodes on Youtube. After that it is much more spotty. Many times Youtube episodes have been wiped by copyright complaints. There are a few '60s and '70s episodes on Youtube as well.
