  1. Back when they were still saying that Stephanie cared about Hope. CJ has that shoe polish look. Whip/Brooke had potential. Not that that ever goes anywhere. I never really got the point of all the Ridge paternity rewrites. I think the tension here is good but it ended fairly quickly. I'd forgotten what a squeaky voice this Rick had. Jennifer Finnegan was so thoughtful as Bridget. This was probably the only time I cared about Bridget. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp0n8lheano
  2. Did he ever talk about The Doctors when you saw him?
  3. Nene was in a People's Choice sketch too.
  4. I wonder if they may have said that Mark Toland was involved in the Natalie/Jessica switch. Obviously TLJ wasn't going to appear, but Julie was Mark's wife for several years.
  5. Thanks for reading. I also hadn't realized it was an apartment building. I always pictured it as houses or something. Radio soaps, some of them, seemed to have a little more urban feel. As soon as I saw these I knew you'd want to see them. The photos of Arthur Petersen are a little menacing - I wonder if that was intentional, to show that God is judge as well as support.
  6. I always thought Matt Powers was the lead, but I don't know. David was on AW as a serial killer for the first half of 1987. I think he passed away in the early 90s.
  7. Justin Hartley will be doing some CW animated series with my avatar. https://twitter.com/TVGuide/status/290513194563293184

  10. Promo that starts around 4:35, and end credits at around 6:00. Steve Wyman directed this episode! This is a real trip. This is 4/21/81. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_PB5lwD5Vk

  16. video gone/private
  17. This ad always cracks me up. That bride sure gets a kick out of Sharon Gabet belly dancing. I guess the groom started asking about threeways very quickly... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8kf_6Aw5wE
  18. This was some little red button special they did to set up Dot's return. Not the best, but I thought it was sweet (Abi caring enough to try to convince her to return home), which is something I can't say about soaps very often now. I also can't believe June Brown is 85 - she has the mobility of someone far younger. Who is the bossy woman in the bad wig? The actress looks familiar to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DWPGP_NSFk
  19. I had to laugh when I saw comments claiming she was leaving because of Stuart Blackburn. If she was leaving because of shitty producers, she would have gone in 2006.
  20. They should have had the Natalie thing. Considering how widely panned the finale was that might have at least been fun.
  21. I think she always tries, even if she's probably been sick of the whole thing for years. This was her best story so I was happy to learn she took so much care to make it work. Now Nikki's drinking is just written as a joke and a crutch. It's too bad that most people write Nikki off while talking more about the size of Adam's penis, but I will always think Nikki is an important part of the show. Or would be, on a Y&R that was quality.
  22. I didn't start watching until the mid-90s. I've seen clips of the story, and it just creeps me out a little, I guess because it's so crazy and then because Tina ended up being pregnant with his child. The rest of the Faux Bo story seems like fun though.
  23. *click* "Sorry, we were disconnected. Tell him to go find Suzanne Somers."
  24. Poor Cher was a laughingstock over those. I meant the photos in this article - I know those weren't official photos but they don't show great hair. I do wonder where she got the jacket. She looks a little like a hip-hopping Dallas Cowboy cheerleader.
