Thanks. The Max story seems so weird to me when I read about it, especially for Siobhan. I think Soapnet only ran two episodes from the later years, one St. Patrick's episode, and the finale. It's too bad.

I'd never seen them either. She looked great. I always wonder how ATWT fans felt about how glamorous Lisa became after her return. I guess they might have just thought she'd gotten a makeover in the big city.

I keep meaning to watch those while they're still up (I think he or she has some 83-85 as well). The last few Soapnet years kind of burnt me out, especially 1981, and some of the stories like the Max Dbujack stuff make me wary, but i really should watch.

You're right. It's a rare moment of story crossover/commentary from Bell. Seeing those Y&R/B&B clips of Sheila and Molly reminded me of what a good actress the woman who played Molly was. I wish they hadn't dropped her.

Do you know about anything happening with the Atlanta women and the OC women after the first season? (I don't mean like a brawl) In that first reunion, they said everyone on OC was cool toward them at some Bravo event...I think Nene singled out Jeana in particular.

I had to laugh when Ashley dismissed that year as "bizarre." I guess Ashley's history with psychos made her blase. I really miss Brenda Epperson. That's the same place (location) that April wandered around in when her husband was spying on her. Y&R must have made a deal with the town.

Thanks. I had no idea, watching this, that Polly Childs was a beauty queen. They made her look like the awkward girl next door. I guess that was part of the plan for her character, so we wouldn't see her scheming nature? I liked the woman who played the waitress Susan's husband was seeing.

I think Maria and Edmund were reunited because they were popular with fans, but the problem with this is they'd been popular in a very different era of AMC. I thought reuniting them was a big mistake - assuming you can just go back is always a mistake. And they'd pretty much sucked in their last few years before ELC left - did they do anything beyond Maria weeping and Edmund grabbing her arm?

I'm glad to hear the working environment was positive. There's such a great, friendly atmosphere in some of these episodes, and the actors really sell it (like the Deborah/Cliff scenes, which would have been creepy and weird with bad chemistry). I didn't realize it had been a year.

That's interesting. I'm surprised he went straight to EON after High Hopes if he felt that way, unless he just needed to pay the bills. He did a good job in the role, but I hated everything about Owen. I felt like they had more plans for the character and Deborah that were dropped (no big loss there).

Thanks for taking the time to read (who is your avatar?). There were so many articles on PP in those few years, I only scaned some, but others did have nicer photos of Dorothy. I've only seen the first season (or part) of PP so I've never even seen Pat Morrow as of yet, but I thought Chris Connelly was good in the role of the little brother in Ryan O'Neal's shadow. I loved the scene where they went from arguing to having a snowball fight, like kids. I remember when Connelly passed away, one of the soap publicists or journalists told SOD that he was so kind to her.

There's a lot of doubt about whether New Normal (I hate that title...) will be back. I wonder if that factored into her decision.

That post and those gifs are one of the main things I remember from the season 1 talk. I thought she was more of the comic relief bitch type that people love to hate). Clearly not.

I was surprised at just how ugly the Vancouver version got. I could swear last season people were saying it was much more positive and laid-back than the US shows.
