Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I hadn't heard anything about her outside of RHOA, so that may be why I enjoyed her. I know when I read an article about her divorce there was tons of hate. On the show though, I grew to enjoy her quite a bit.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Thanks. I know it's annoying to answer questions from 5 seasons ago. I appreciate anyone who does.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Thanks. I guess Nene made up with Phaedra and Kandi? I mostly watch on Netflix as I don't have room on my DVR for marathons and some shows I prefer watching on DVD to online (if they ever stream these on Netflix I'll probably watch though). I will definitely try to check out some of the later seasons. I enjoyed this first season more than I thought I would have.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I was watching the Atlanta season 1 reunion and my jaw dropped when Lisa, of all people, went completely off on Kim. I would almost say that was staged but it just seemed too personal and ugly to be fake. I wonder what that was about. Either way, it was very entertaining. And Lisa literally sitting on Nene to stop her from getting up - I loved it. I like DeShawn but you could see Andy Cohen giving her so many chances to say...anything, and she barely managed a response. I wonder why they've kept Cynthia since from what people have said, Cynthia is also very quiet. Is it because of her looks or career? Of course it's not just that DeShawn is quiet - when she did speak at the reunion, she was very garbled. All that "I thought I had cancer/I didn't but I can't talk about what I had" stuff from Kim made my head spin a little. You could tell Kim had worked hard to get some of this straight before the reunion. It was interesting to watch, especially her awareness of how admitting you screwed up/scenes looked bad will make you look better in the moments you can't explain as easily. Does Big Papa show up in season 2 or was he always offcamera?

Kim seems to be in a Joan Van Ark phase.

The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
I didn't really think the season 1 finale was all that great, to be honest. I thought the finale was good overall, but they never should have written a check they were never going to be able to cash. I never knew why they were building up to a battle the Governor would always win. They had to avoid that. People said it jumped the shark in early season 2 and it came back. They're going to lose viewers, because they almost have to. No show stays at this level. We'll see if Gimple can work out the kinks. I hope he can.

That NJ is the worst Photoshopping I've ever seen. It looks like a little girl who cut out magazine photos and glued them into one space. Kathy looks like a zombiefied Bethenny Frankel.

Thanks for letting us know. I'll have to look for this.

GH: Classic Thread
It's generally considered to be a weird or desperate story, but I've heard some fans say they liked it, because of Robin's involvement, and the gap it bridged in Anna mourning for Duke, Robin mourning, etc. I think it's just one of those stories that is so obviously ridiculous it's something easy for critics to point at (like the gorilla on Ryan's Hope).

I've never quite gotten into R&A - I think they just don't mesh well. I think they may have just liked the actor and wanted to keep him on past the story, but I've gotten the impression that the story was more popular with fans than it was with critics, who hated it. I wonder if for fans it was anything that scandalous.

The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
The scenes were all pretty stupid and OTT (and generally I think that's been true of the Governor since they came back from hiatus), I just didn't think their reactions were as ridiculous as they should have been. I think they were surprised, but also not surprised, if that makes any sense.

The Walking Dead: Discussion Thread
I think the reason he turned against that group was because they were weak, in his eyes. They were not only scared in the prison, but they were bickering at each other like children. Martinez was, I believe, one of the people who went along with the slaughter of soldiers early this season, so he would have no moral objections to anything the Governor is doing. I think, as scary as seeing the Governor blow away all those people must have been, there's a big part of Martinez that would go, "He wouldn't do that to me - I'm not like them."

I didn't have as big a problem with it as others did, because where else are they going to go? He's crazy, but he never aimed the gun at them, or even considered it. I'm sure they see themselves as being better than the others in Woodbury, and this would have proved them right. Their options are going out on their own, waiting for the prison group to pick them off, or going with him to start over. Allen seemed to be an idiot the whole time so I wasn't that shocked with his behavior. I think he expected that he'd just hold the Gov at gunpoint and get him to surrender.

Thanks so much for sharing these. I'm especially happy to see Joyce. I never had. It's interesting and surprising to see her this way - I was expecting something more bitchy and diva. I prefer this version though. Mary McDonnell. Look at that long, straight hair, and the Palin accent.
