  1. That's a good campaign. I can't see that happening here, sadly. The news out of India is so distressing. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/12/world/asia/court-restores-indias-ban-on-gay-sex.html?_r=0
  2. That Carrie story sounds a little too dark and rough for that era of GL, although I know Marland would have done a great job writing it. Mattson's first GL stint was Hope as a heroine, so I think she might have pulled it off, but you have a fair point.
  3. Kim only ever played a more typical heroine once, on Santa Barbara. I'm not sure. I think she could have done OK, although I do think the show sort of needed Reva. I wish they'd given Elvera Roussel more of a chance. Or brought Robin Mattson back.
  4. I think Carrie's son had been seen or mentioned after her trial, when she'd been acquitted due to temporary insanity, or something like that. I think Ross took her to meet her son. This was before they knew she had DID and before she started sleeping with Josh, the kid who mowed the lawn, etc. I'm not sure what they would have done if Jane Elliot hadn't been fired. I think Marland said he wanted to have a therapy story for her and show the psychological rehabilitation process.
  5. Thanks. I'm not sure I've ever seen any of the almost-wedding. Did it ever air on any of the reruns? I'd forgotten she was in a surviving clip. I wouldn't have recognized her from the photo. I wonder if she ever had any stories. And thanks for reading the articles.
  6. I didn't know Curtis and Trucker were friends.
  7. I'm Erica Kane: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPP3-gFqeB0
  8. I do think a lot of these shows are fake, but I sort of envy people who insist Mama Joyce must be faking because people don't act like that in real life. I envy people who have never had anyone like that in their life. Wow, Nene really does say "bund." I just realized what her hair reminds me up - the hippie in the rock band on the Muppet Show. What was her name? Joyce? Gladys? I kept hearing people talking about how beautiful Cynthia was but her TH just sort of puts neon signs around it. She's quite stunning. So much so I'm almost surprised she was even cast on the show, as a lot of the women on these shows look plastic or rough. I think Angela is the only one who follows these shows and Big Brother, or maybe cheap too (I can't remember), but anyway, Amanda from last season of BB was trying to arrange some sort of lunch or meeting with Brandi. Brandi never really tweeted anything back. She did meet Brandi at a lunch, through Brandi's friend, or something. Again Brandi mostly downplayed it on Twitter, and Amanda seemed miffed. I guess it's C-level reality trying to get up to B-level reality. Given Amanda's controversy over racist remarks, her wanting to buddy up to Brandi is somehow fitting.
  9. Thanks. I wonder if they had her on Loving when Ceara was killed.

  11. Anna Maria Horsford (who was Holly's cellmate on GL in 1979/80) is also in the Madea film.
  12. Apparently people who objected just don't have a sense of humor. What gets me is that she actually was very serious. There was no "joking."
  13. Yes. I think this Tom was around to mid-year, Sheila not long. Don and Mary maybe to late in the year.
  14. January 1972 Daytime TV Stephen Joyce (Dr. Hiller) took a leave of absence in September and was replaced by Peter White. Was White just a temp recast?
  15. January 1972 Daytime TV Joining the cast in September was Audrey Landers in the role of Joanna Morrison. Lynne Adams (ex-Leslie Bauer, Guiding Light) has replaced Jada Rowland as Amy Britton. Lynne started September 21.
  16. January 1972 Daytime TV.
  17. Which character was this?
  18. Ken Rabat was quite hot. I wonder why he didn't work out.
