And yet you continue to watch.

What you've done above is what ANY of us could do with ANY soap, past or present. It's easy as hell to rip up everything on a soap.

But hey, it's your life. If I disliked it all as much as you do, I'd take a break or walk away for good.

And yet you continue to watch.

I do that regularly. But even if I didn't, I'm just another consumer with a right to a voice. You're the only one who consistently only turns up to act shocked and outraged that people on soap opera message boards dare to critique soap operas.

What exactly would you like to happen here? What is your endgame? There's a reason there are only four soaps left, and it's not because everyone was loving 'em, as you consistently have whined that we should do every time you turn up to bore us to tears. So what do you want to happen?

And BTW? You made these same weepy, heartfelt attack posts about anyone critiquing GH not long ago. Get a new angle, no one is interested in your current one and you have nothing original to contribute.

Except for the horrid (and clearly rewritten) JC exit, the show is more than watchable. Here are two reasons why I'm OK with it:

1) Heavy, heavy, heavy use of vets and characters we either love or love-to-hate. Is that what Y&R fans have been clamoring for during the past decade? Major plus with recasts JH, GT who have maintain the essence of those characters while making the roles their own. I hate to admit even GrampaBilly has been growing on me, which is perplexing to me;

2) It's moving a long and at times unpredictable - perfect example - Cane, who had not been on the entire episode, shows up out of nowhere and knocks Joe. That was a complete surprise - the model that all that day's players have to be seen in first 10 minutes is a bit old hat. Sometimes, having a character just show up for one key scene is more than enough rather than having them there for entire episode with filler scenes just to get to the one that matters.

Other bonus: I'm not a fan of Sage, but at least Wednesday, her scenes mattered and you felt like something was at stake for her. Same for Marissa - she's not just another Porney - her presence does matter to the story. Whether either of those characters have any long-term impact is still a long shot.

I haven't been watching every day - but can someone remind me...Victor still doesn't know it's real-Jack he shot, right? And we don't know if Marco/Yak is alive or not? And no one other than real-Jack knows that Kelly was alive (after supposedly dying)?

My issue with the show recently is that Victor never pays for anything, whether legally or with his own family. It never lasts, and practically everyone keeps interacting with him no matter what he does. And I'm tired of the same line in particular with him over and over "I will protect my FAMILEEEEHHHHH". And in this instance he created the monster of Yack, and then had to "protect his familehhhh". LOL.

I hate to think how they're going to get Victor out of this mess. I wish he'd actually be punished....I just hope that TPTB don't pull some bulls**t excuse out of their asses like GH does. Victor is responsible for multiple deaths, so go get him Christine!

Dude, I don't know WTF is wrong with you but I simply have a different opinion of the show than you do. Apparently others seems to be somewhat enjoying it as well. That's great.

The difference between you and I is, I won't attack someone for having a different opinion than mine.

You like soap cliches and out of character writing? Go for it. DVR every goddamn day. I don't give a [!@#$%^&*].

Some of the conversations here are hilarious. Why do people take this life so seriously? No one gets out alive anyway :)

ANYWAY... I need for something to happen to Nikki. Now. She gets away with way too much.

How did I know Chelsea would scream at Adam/Gabe for about 3 minutes and then insta forgiveness?

How does Sage expect Chelsea to believe her if Sage herself sounds like she can't believe what she's saying? Granted it's mostly the same shItty acting from Kelly Sullivan but regardless.

I still love Billy. I don't care how old everyone says he looks! I honestly think he's gorgeous, everyone I work with detests him!

I kinda love Victoria's blind faith and devotion to her father no matter what he does. Amelia Heinle actually plays it well.

I will say one thing Pratt has gotten right is Victoria's characterization. Her constantly obsessing over babies and Billy was horrid. I like that they've got her back to shrewd business wench and loyal daddy's girl. I love when they have her going at it with Ashley, Chelsea, and Gabe/Adam. AH will still never compare to Heather Tom but it feels like the character is finally true to form again.
