As has been rumored in recent months, Molly Burnett (Melanie) wrapped up her six-month "Days" stint in December, so look for Melanie to last air around the end of May.

Her return stint was always meant to be short-term I imagine since she's leaving under Tomlin and Whitesell's tenure.

aww, that's sad. I don't really like her character or family ties or SLs, but she's probably one of the best/most natural young actresses I've ever seen on soaps. DAYS fails, again.
