Sorry I'm not giving Erica any credit at all, she had to be forced into doing this <_< I've felt that Kendall knowing about Josh should come from Erica and no one else

Kendall could have been spared all this if Erica had put Kendall above herself and told her the truth back in Febuary-when she herself found out

I resectfully disagree, Zach wouldn't have been announcing this secret to the whole world, he would have been putting his wife's emotions first and possibly ending her suffering instead of worrying about keeping his word to every Dick and Harry. I'm not saying Erica wasn't thinking of what suits her best here, I can't blame her to a point - that's who she is and she's been violated a lot, but she did the right thing in the end - she put her code of "me, me, me" aside and told the truth putting aside the consequences b/c it was important.

The Erica secret aside (cutting slack for that), what's frustrating in general is I'm just seeing Zach being written as a man who would put his word to anybody infront of Kendall and it sort of sucks since I don't think it's constructive to a relationship at all - reminds me of Ryan/Kendall not too many years ago. He doesn't even seem to hold much guilt about keeping the secrets, it's like he can blame it on somebody else b/c they used his stupid "code of honor." I ask, what about the promises and pledges he made to Kendall? Zach is not suppose to be the by the book super-hero there to save everybody's day, he's suppose to be the anti-hero that doesn't live by the rules and who will break the rules to keep, save, help the woman he loves, sigh.

At least Erica is stepping up and admitting Josh is her child unlike another man who invited all of Pine Valley to a party to where he denied his own son and later carved his sons heart out.

Really she's admitting it now, sorry but big whoop de doo, but not even to him, she's still denying Josh because it's all about her. She's not stepping up because she wants too, it's because she was forced into it

Erica hasn't directly lied to Josh about not being his mother. When she lies to his face and about a DNA test then she'll be as low as that so called father who mourns his "son."

NO but she'd rather him go on believing he has a monster for a father, because like she basically admitted today it's all about her.

Well myself I was kind of torn on the Robin thing, cause I do think that it wasn't her place to tell, but since Jax and Carly were getting away with kidnapping I'm glad she told. BUT I hated how they had her blurt it out cause they made it all about Carly.

Anyways, even if Erica doesn't want to be a mother to Josh, she should still tell him, let him decide if he even wants a relationship with her.

Erica has known the truth since February, she could have gotten Kendall away from Madden months ago, but didn't, cause she was protecting herself, and not to get spoilerish, but the way Josh finds out, he could be spared that if Erica wasn't once again protecting herself.

How can one attack Erica when Zach did the same thing!

The bottom line is Erica is selfish. They (Zach, Jeff and Jack) tried to tell her to put Kendall's need above her own and she would not. It tells me what kind of "mother" she is.

No one has to tell me to do right by my kid. Young or old, I would put my life on the line to save my child, and I would do anything to help them. Especially if it is in my power to do so. I would NEVER let them suffer to protect myself. There is no excuse, NONE.

And Erica needs to stop blaming Zach, she hates the man soooooo much that she would blame WWII on him if he was old enough. The blackout was not the cause of what Madden did. Madden had already lied to Greenlee and suggestd to Kendall about being a surrogate. Zach was only trying to stop it because he knew that Kendall would love the baby that she was carrying and that RYAN (Erica's boy toy) didn't want any kids. Zach's only motivation was Kendall.

Erica is pathetic, and what little respect I had for her is gone.

Well Ryan wasn't going to tell Kendall the truth for the same reason. He told it to Zach today.

Jack wanted Erica to tell Kendall the truth but HE said that it was HER decision.

Erica said it with her own mouth, "I don't want my son to hate me." So that tells me that she would rather have Kendall suffer than have Josh hate HER.

Zach has no motivation for having Kendall suffer. Erica's motivation was her selfishness.

Zach lied about being Ethan's father and he made his son suffer so hurting Kendall is very much plausable.

and what does that have to do with anything? For the record I thought Zach lying to Ethan was worse bc Ethan knew Zach was his father but Zach denied him numerous times to his face. Josh doesnt know Erica is his mother and therefore not suffering knowing or not knowing. BUT the topic is about Erica and her secret. Zach and Ethan was something of the past and completely irrelevant. It has no bearing on the story or how the characters are affected by Erica's secret

Word Cheap! B)

I disagree though Josh is suffering because he believes his father was a monster, that's why I think Erica needs to tell him he's her son

oh I was referring to Erica overal keeping the secret from Feb to now. Josh only found out what a monster Greg was in the past week. Before that, he didnt beleive any of it. Erica being his mother or not being his mother wasnt affecting him in anyway bc he has been completely oblvious to it. I think now how he is affected has changed and thats bc of the recent revelation regarding the DNA test that Kendall took

Yeah I agree, overall it hasn't affected him, but now that she knows he's suffering she needs to tell him :)
