I guess this is CBS's alternative to I Wanna Be a Soap Star. I'm interested in seeing what happens on this show.

AS THE WORLD TURNS actors involved include Trent Dawson ("Henry Coleman"), Michael Park ("Jack Snyder"), Colleen Zenk Pinter ("Barbara Ryan"), Terri Colombino ("Katie Peretti"), Paul Leyden ("Simon Frasier"), Van Hansis ("Luke Snyder"), Alexandra Chando ("Maddie Coleman"), Zach Roerig ("Casey Hughes"), Marie Wilson ("Meg Snyder"), Ellen Dolan ("Margo Hughes"), Scott Holmes ("Tom Hughes") and Jesse Lee Soffer ("Will Munson"). They will act as judges, participate in challenges or offer advice.

I'm not trying to be mean b/c I actually look like a dork myself, but I'm sure that that nerdy-looking kid is the most-talented out of them all. If ATWT were smart, they'd hire him as opposed to a talentless supermodel. JMO. But then again, it is only 13 weeks.

So wait a minute then. If you know who is listed in that list right there, then you know who can't be fired then, right?

I mean damn, there are some silly ass rumor-making people!

And based on looks alone, and nothing else, I think the girl with the red hair on the far left looks like she can act. I don't know how one can look like they can act, but she just stands out to me.

That guy in the upper right stands out because he doesn't look like a typical soap hunk. I would love it if he were a great actor and it would say a lot if he was the first one to get the boot anyway.

Looks can be deceiving, but there's always that "soap opera look" and it sucks b/c sometimes that trumps actual talent. If that guy does wind up being a good actor (I mean, he could suck after all) and gets booted, then we all know what soaps are after.

When I look at him, I see the American Pie-ish kind of geeky, dorky dude who is thinks he is a big huge ladies' man but is really, really not.

I have to say, the male "model" next to the "dorky" guy isn't pretty, IMO. He just looks weird.

LOL. Watch them all be bad. Like on that I Wanna Be a Soap Star. OMG! They showed parts of it on VH1 tonight, and the acting on that show is awful!! I don't get SOAPnet, but that show must be hilarious. Some of those people couldn't act to save their lives.

No one over 25! YAY! Old people smell like feces anyway! Boooooo old people!

ATWT doesn't like anyone over 45. Just look at the storylines. It's all teens and 30-somethings. Not one 40-something and older character has a storyline. That's just wrong.

This all despite the fact that it's main demo are over 50. I'll never understand it.

And ATWT has one of the richest field of older actors in their cast. Both brilliant actors and multi-layered characters with tons of history. It doesn't make a lick of sense that they're not featured more. These are people who have stayed with the show, 20, 30, 40 years. Why can't we see them? Who knows? Do they care if we care? Probably not.

I don't even understand WHY they're doing this, so that this person can be let go in 6 months? That's most likely to happen. So that the show has yet another 20 something that they have no idea what to do with? Come on.

The red head looks a little like Jennifer Ferrin. If she can act, she could have made a good Jen Munson.

Today was sort of a preview show. But I don't get why they had each actor say an obnoxious one-liner. Surely they told them all to be obnoxious because I hope it wasn't just a coincidence that they were.

I'm looking forward to seeing the ATWT give their advice to the InTurns and I hope it won't be like previous seasons of I Wanna Be a Soap Star where the judges cared more about looks than talent.
