The Official SON Top 10 Ballot: Week of July 3 - 7, 2006

Didn't get to see everyday of ATWT but my vote is still for it for Best Show just for Friday alone.

Best Show: ATWT

ATWT: Grayson McCouch and Jennifer Ferrin (they deserve it)

HM to Colleen Zenk Pinter, Jesse Soffer, Roger Howarth, Benjamin Hendrickson (RIP), Jennifer Landon (loved the scene between Barbara and Gwen where Barbara apologized to Gwen - kudos to both actresses)

Days: No one on Days really impressed me this week, but I will vote for Bryan Dattilo and Alison Sweeney for their scenes at the wedding. Stephen and Mary Beth will get their fan base votes and beat them, but I still think that of what I saw Bryan and Allison were better this week. But as I said no one really stood out this week to me.

And I am not watching OLTL much but I did see a couple of days that they showed Hillary Bailey Smith so I am just giving a vote to her out of resepct.

And one to the great Lindsey Hartley from Passions. She just keeps getting better.

ATWT should definitely get best show, just for Thurs. and Fri.'s episodes alone.

I'm going to hold off on voting, though, to see how other people vote. Personally, my top two were definitely Colleen Zenk Pinter and Benjamin Hendrickson, but if everyone winds up voting for JF and GM instead, I don't want to split the vote.

Unfortunately, I think that's going to happen anyway. There were just too many good acting on the show. JS and JL were amazing too, as well as KH and DH. Even RH and KMH were good, as was ED when Margo was talking to Maddie about her rape.

If there are any ATWT fans here, I urge you all to encourage EVERYONE you know to vote in the SON Top 10. We need to end this god damn fanbase voting for OLTL b/c it's unfair to the actors and shows that truly deserve it.

ATWT for best show definitely. I am torn on who to vote for.The list of those deserving is too long and Matt will only allow us to vote for two people from each show!!!!!!!!!

I have said this before,ATWT will go through "blaghhh" slumps from time to time but when it is good they pack a wallop!!!! If ATWT doesn't get number ONE something is wrong and I will question if I should bother to vote anymore!!!

I most definitely chose Jennifer Ferrin...She really drew me into this storyline.

Speaking of Jennifer Ferrin, I got a signed autograph from her...she actually wrote that I have a "rocking" name....

Let's also remember that Benjamin Henrickson's final performaces are next week, making him also eligible for the next Top 10.

ITA. ATWT slumps are nothing like slumps on other soaps. W/ ATWT, when they're down, they're just boring. W/ other soaps, you can't even watch the show most of the time, it's so bad.

But yeah, the stupid fangurls are going to ruin everything! Well, ATWT was #1 this week...I don't care what the polls say. W/ the exception of the 50th anniversary and when the baby switch was revealed in Dec., there weren't any times that I would say that ATWT was definitely the #1 soap. But this week, they were.

I'll save Benji for next week! Jesse Soffer brought me to my seat and in tears TWICE this week and that is powerful stuff, when he broke down in Gwen's arms then later Jen's. He and Colleen rocked my world!!!
